_______________________________________________________ [Shadow waited for Serpantfang's answer until he felt a nudge against his shoulders. He quickly turned to see no sight of any cats. His muscles started to tighten with a bit of fright, wondering if he's growing crazy. He softened his tensity and his whiskers twitched with worry.] "Birdsong?" he whispered. [No answer, he let out a sigh. His heart started to beat a bit faster, wondering if his dear Birdsong is mad at him. Shadow felt his heart getting heavy with Cometstream's and Icemane's death, not knowing how he is going to get used to this atmosphere so easily. Shadow then looked at Serpantfang, noticing her upsetting look. His heart got heavier as he nodded and followed Serpantfang. Shadow thought about Birdsong for a bit as he walked on.] Birdsong, I know i'm a stupid, mouse brained tom, but let me try my best to make you happy, and take care of BreezeClan, and your loving apprentice Spadestripe. Shadow said in his head, wondering if she'll even hear his pray.

I win, StarClan.
[I smirked happily, and stood up, padding towards Shadow, hoping to catch him before he left with Serpentfang. I looked around, and then made it so only Shadow could see and hear me. Sitting down, I curled my tail around my paws, a smile on my face, but a deep sadness in my eyes]
"Yes, Shadow, you are a mouse-brained tom. One who could've saved me. Oh Shadow, what are we going to do with you?" I asked, grinning.
[There was something about that tom that drove all the dark thoughts and insatiny away. But I was dead. And he had a mate]
((Is it alright with you and Neko if Birdsong kinda like fools around with Shadow and Snowcherry? Like comes back to toughen up Snowcherry and flirt with Shadow? xD))

[Shadow finally saw Birdsong, as if she was not dead at all. Her coat was as beautiful as ever and his eyes twitched with a bit of fright. He couldn't bring words out of his mouth, as if he was frozen in spot for the rest of his nine lives. Shock completely took him over.] "B-Birdsong?" he said, almost a whisper. [His ears went flat against his head, with shame.] "Birdsong, I don't blame you if you hate me with all your heart, but either way you can't stop me from becoming fond of you a lot." Shadow said, his heart starting to race. [Shadow jumped in fright as he saw his beautiful mate beside him, with a concerned look. He didn't know what to say, did she hear him say all that?! Shadow felt his throat go dry as he spoke.] "U-uh Snowcherry! I...u-uh I was t-talking to...Serpantfang..." Shadow stammered, noticing the she-cat was gone. [His ears perked up, noticing that he should follow as well.] "U-uh s-s-so, I better follow her, busy day. Erm...well...bye Snowcherry!" Shadow stammered once more, feeling like a fool in front of his mate and Birdsong. [Shadow rushed into the woods, following Serpantfang towards SeaClan camp.]

[He looked at Larckcry with, joy yet worry at the same time. he thought over her offer in his head.] A mentor is exactly what she needs right now, but what if it is too soon for her? If anything she needs someone to comfort her and help take her mind off of her loss. yes, this is perfect. [He turned and smiled at her, happiness returning to the once gloomy leader.] "Yes Larcry, that is a great idea! A mentor is exactly what she needs right now. Speak with Saltpaw and we can make it official!" [he twitched his ear when he heard another small voice speak to him. he looked around but saw no one, until he finally looked down and smiled.] "Why hello there Dovekit. Really? Thats wonderful, im sure an apprentice is what would help her now most, and maybe you can help her regain her memories as well. I will start a ceremony soon announcing Saltpaw and your new mentors." [He smiled, his spirits lifting and his hopes for the clan rising.]

[I padded back into camp, my calico fur fluffed up. Sitting down, I looked around for Shadow, but he was nowhere to be found. Sighing I stood back up, feeling restless. Heading towards the nursery, I poked my head in and rested my green eyes on Rosewind. Becoming visible to her, I shouldered my way into the warm den, and sat down beside my sister]
"Hello Rosewind. Miss me?"

Larkcry's golden pelt shimmered its way to the apprentices' den, Wow, it seems so long ago that my nest was in here. There's no way it's been that long. She peeked her head into the shaded den. It was cooler in here than in the warriors' den.
She saw Saltpaw's pelt scattered whith dusty-brown spots. She must be feeling pretty bad. Well, not that she ever really took care of her pelt before, but now it's especially dirty.
"Hey, Saltpaw. I just talked to Galestar, and, umm, if you'd like it, I can be your mentor." ________________

She wondered why StarClan had not accepted her sister's spirit, but quickly decided against asking. "Of course, I'll make sure Mapleleaf doesn't get into too much trouble." The smile on her face quickly disappeared. She winced. There was a sudden in pain her sides. "The kits. They're coming"
