Raven looked back down. She rubbed her stomach. She was counting the days to Valentine's day. Her favorite day of the year. But not this year. She sniffled as she thought about what that day would bring for her this year.

"Yes" Nena said shortly, man Raven was really guilt tripping her. Nena gave the two a small smile, "Would you two like to see where I'm from?"
Nena notice Devion. "Oh um hi!" the chupacabra said awkwardly.

"Well, there's always limit to somethin'," Kenet said as if reciting a verse. As someone entered, he looked over his shoulder and grinned. "Hullo!" he called and, before he could hear the other half of Nena's statement, he was bounding over to meet the man with eagerly buzzing wings. "Haven't met you before. Are you new?" he asked.

Deion waved to Nena and couldn't help but smile as someone else came bounding toward him.
"Naw, I live on the sixth floor, with Loreley, and sometimes Death," he responded. "You might've seen a chick around here that looks uncannily like me...that's because she IS me," he explained, stepping off the stairs and over to the group.

Raven shook her head slowly. "No thank you, Nena." She said softly. "I was traumatized when I was there, remember?" She asked softly. "Remember, the fight between Vae and Sophie?" She sighed in rememberance. She turned to Deion. "Hello, Deion." She said softly.

Kenet, suddenly ashamed that he hadn't been around for so long and had missed a few new people, set to work looking over this stranger, hopping into the air so that he could fly in abrupt formations around his head.

Deion saw Raven and waved...and remembered Loreley telling him about the latest Death sentence...unfortunately, it was happening among them, those at the tavern..... He closed his eyes and bowed his head for a minute, genuinely sad that this had to happen....and then he felt something buzzing around his head. He opened his eyes and smiled.
"Heeeey now, whatcha doing?"
Deion glanced over to Nena. "Yeah. I know you've met Deirdre....well, long story short, I AM Deirdre. Just....a man. It's really complicated," he said, an apologetic smile on his face.

"...just..." Raven said softly to Deion. She wanted to say 'mourning over my soon-to-be loss'. But she didn't. "..just watching the fire...eating twizzlers..." She said softly with a weak smile. "...want one?" She asked softly, holding up the bag.

Kenet paused over the man's head, his human-sized body in some danger of falling while in limbo. He settled this by sitting on his new friend's shoulders, and his wings continued to flit in order to keep from being too heavy.
"You're odd," he proclaimed proudly. "D'you have wings as well?"

Raven looked up to Sino and gave her a small wave. "Well come and tell me all about it, Sino." She said softly, sweetly, and definitely motherly. She patted the spot next to her on the couch.
((only have ten mins left. I'm gonna take a shower after ten mins and switch to my laptop.))

Deion gave a knowing, sympathetic smile to Raven and took a twizzler. "Thanks," he said, and took a bite, only to realize he was being sat on. He laughed. "No. Of all the gifts I was given when I became a demon, wings were not one of them."
