awww poor opal.
on a lighter note... its my friend's 21st b-day (US drinking age baby!) and i will be out getting sloshed and will bring back lots of fun pics. xd

bah. last night was a flop. i was suppose to get out of work early, but my manager was 3vil and made me stay, so when i got out at freaking 1am, everyone was drunk and i pretty much went out, played pool and drove my friend home because she couldn't stand anymore. lol. that was pretty funny tho.

i was thinking of picking up some kind of musical instrument, but then i played rockband with my drums and i was over that. >.>

It's immensely rewarding when you can sight read a lot of scores and play really nice sounding tunes, especially those really epic, popular songs/movie themes :]
But a risk you run if you rely too much on sheet music is that you end up being unable to play by ear. A lot of the great piano covers on youtube are done by ear XD I was like that for a long time (over reliance on sheet music). I'm trying to break out of it now.
Of course it needs a LOT of practice ><
I always wanted to play the drums though.. =)
AND YES!!! I LOVE ROCK BAND!!!! although i love singing it more. When I first played it at my friend's house the only song I knew was Do You Wanna Be My Girl XD And um, Stricken by Disturbed. But now I know so much more heart I REALLLLLLYYYY want to sing Knights of Cydonia =( But we don't play Rock Band a lot anymore... I need to find rock band friends in uni xD

There's quite a few people who play it on college. At least in mine there was a decent amount for Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
