The bird cage that Edan pokes flashes blue for a moment and swings very slightly on its hook.

Edan slaps the cage then tries to scurry on down the hall.

Blue light crawls and crackles along the cage as it violently swings. It reaches out towards the departing Edan before snapping and disappearing.
Benzel scurries down a carpeted hall.

He suddenly halts and sniffs the air. His tail wags. "I smell cinnamon."

"Oooh?" Edan halts and spins in a circle on one foot.

"This way!" He hopskips down the hall and peeks into a large, cozy sitting room. It is also lined with little cages. Some of them have little birds in them. On a low table sits a tray of cinnamon buns.

Edan hops after and peeks in as well. "Oooo! Food!" He sidles in and reaches for a cinnamon bun.

"Careful!" Benzel squeaks from the doorway, but he's hungry so he is soon at Edan's side.
