Usually, I'd agree. Movies that ******** up good things are usually comical.
But I just can't watch that movie. I won't.

I'm going to watch it, just because I know this movie will cement Avatar - the animated show - into place as a successful series, much better than any movie rendition ever could.

They seriously could have done better with their casting. Serrrrrrrrrriously. Put the Bollywood actors as the water tribe and give them blue contacts or something if you can't find Inuits or Eskimos. But don't make them WHITE people! gonk And the Fire Nation is totally North Korea. They couldn't find any Asians? Seriously? After all the jokes I've gotten about looking exactly like a whole fifth of humanity? gonk /sobsobsobsob

I was mostly after han chinese, but s**t, I have no problem with any of those things you mentioned. This whole movie is going to be like the episode where they watch the play of themselves.

Generally its like, people who make anime or manga try and emulate white people because they have weird issues with wanting to be white.
So... white people being their characters is the natural progression of things, minus the outfits/hair that Japanese people have a monopoly on.
A lot of main characters though, can obviously be done by white people.
