Benzel continues to clipclop down the street, his droopy little ears bobbing up and down. He whispers. "I feel like we have been walking for ages."

He HALTS in front of a tall townhouse and tilts his head. "Yes."

Thea adjusts her coat and stares up at the building. "Mm. Perhaps the two of you should go in alone."

He looks back at Thea and raises his eyebrows. "Alone? But what if she's eeevil?"

Benzel looks up at Thea, then looks at the house.

Thea hmphs and scoots down the street to sit on a bench, facing the building.
Benzel stays close to Edan's legs and peers around them as the door of the building slowly opens.

Edan peeks through the crack in the door. "Hellooo?"

Benzel leans forward and sniffsniffs.
The doorway is dim and quiet.

The door opens easily as Edan enters. He is in a clean foyer with wooden floors. There are pictures of butterflies on the walls and several gas lamps, which are burning.
Benzel shuffles inside and winces as his noisy little hooves cause a pitter-pattering echo.

Edan peers at everything as he continues down the hall. "Oooo, haaaunted!"

Most of the rooms are blue and have several hanging insect collections on the walls, most of which feature butterflies, wasps and dragonflies all pinned snugly into place. There are decorative birdcages, too, and most of these are empty. Light filters into the house through heavy lace curtains.
And all the while, there is the sound of a little goat shuffling along. "Quiet.."
