JD stepped out and looked at all the individual tubes of dirt.
"Just like you guys." he thought. He wanted to ask where Archie was, and if he was good or bad, but thought now wasn't the time. The basement gave him an eerie feeling, so he decided to stay close to his team mate.

*A middle aged guy wearing a lab coat pops around a corner*
???: What are you doing here? And who are you?
Me: We're team Aqua. And we're hear to talk about your experiments, Dr. Turnalk.
DT: Aqua!
*He runs off and a couple of caged Pokemon are released to stop us*
Me: Speed, go! Cut him off!
*Deoxys[Speed] appears and rushes off*
Me: Well looks like he had 4 caged guard Pokemon. Let's both take out two of them.
*I get to battling*

*The first Pokemon I have to deal with is a Manectric*
Me: Looks like Garchomp gets to have some fun. Go!
*Garchomp appears form his PokeBall*
*Manectric Howls increasing its aggressiveness*
Me: Show that thing how its really done. Swords Dance!
*Garchomp moves around in a slashing dance, that makes it move more powerfully*
*Manectric then procedes to Bite on Garchomp*
Me: Earthquake!
*Garchomp hits the ground hard, the tubes rattle, and Manectric goes down in one hit*
Me: Good job.
*A Scizor then shows up*
Me: Fire Fang!
*Scizor is bitten down hard, and barely holds on*
*Scizor then Giga Impacts into Garchomp, hurting it a bit*
Me: Wasn't expecting that... Fire Fang again.
*Garchomp bites down and Scizor is out of the picture*

JD lost his backpack as quickly as possible and called out the first pokemon he reached for, which was Sentret.
"Be ready, Sentret!" JD said as a Growlithe ran up to them, growling and giving a mad look it quickly went in for the first attack, trying to bite Sentret, but missed as Sentret used its tail to spring out of the way. "Sentret, use Defense Curl!" he said, thinking of the first move that came to mind.
Sentret suddenly curled up into a tight ball, upping its defense. The Growlithe charged at Sentret and attempted a Bite attack, chomping down on Sentret's tail, but doing less damage than if Sentret wasn't guarding itself.
"Alright Sentret, use Quick attack!" he said, pumping his fist. Sentret uncurled itself and began zig-zagging around the basement, in between the tubes of dirt, and suddenly collided with the Growlithe, knocking it backwards with damage.
The Growlithe recovered its stance and looked back up at Sentret with a Leer. Sentret took a step back, a little intimidated and lowering its defense.
"Use Scratch, Sentret!" JD said next. Sentret put on a game face itself and ran up to the Growlithe, taking a swipe at it's face, weakening the fire type. Although staggering now, the Growlithe opened its mouth and used Ember attack, hitting Sentret with globs of fire. Sentret was sent back a few ways, but stood ready for the next move.
"Alright, use another quick attack, Sentret!" he called. The Sentret went back into sprinting again, JD barely keeping up with the fast pokemon, and then it rammed into the Growlithe again, knocking it out. Sentret landed on its tail and tried to catch its breath.
"Good job, Sentret!" cried JD, his heart rate pumping fast with adrenaline.
Soon another guard pokemon showed up; this time a Sandshrew came running on all fours, ready to fight for it's master.
"Return, Sentret!" said JD, recalling his pokemon knowing it might not be up for a second battle. He then called out his other pokemon, Totodile.
"Alright Totodile, use Water Gun!" he said. Totodile took in a breath and shot out a stream of water at the Snadshrew, doing super-effective damage. The Sandshrew winced at the touch of the water, but shook it off and started blowing sand through the air, using Sand Attack. Both JD and Totodile shielded their eyes from the sand. It was diminishing their visibility. JD finally called out, "Totodile, use Leer!"
Totodile, with its eyes nearly closed, tried to look threw the sand in the air to give the Sandshrew a Leer, but couldn't see anything.
Out of nowhere, the Sandshrew pounced on Totodile and began using Fury Swipes. Not letting go, the ground type made swipe after swipe at Totodile, doing a little damage every time that was adding up quickly.
"Totodile, use Water Gun again!" JD called out. Totodile, having the Sandshrew right in front of it, took in another breath, coughed from the sand it breathed in, then shot another stream of water at the Sandshrew, knocking it out. The sand in the air fell to the ground, and JD could see again.
"Good job, Totodile!" JD commended his pokemon. Totodile was feeling the wounds on its face, and JD felt bad that he didn't have anything to help with the stinging. He recalled Totodile and went to find Brian again.

Me: Good job. Now lets see if we can find that scientist.
*I head the direction he ran off*

"Ok." JD replied as he followed closely behind Brian. As much fun that battling was, he knew the team now had business to do.

Me: So doctor, wanna be civil about this?
DT: Aqua, civil? I doubt it.
Me: We try to work on our public image, but we have a big stereotype to turn around... Anyways, you responsible for this increased landmass in Orre?
DT: If I am?
Me: Well I'd like to inform you that you are causing massive destructive floods elsewhere in the world with you little expansion.
DT: Don't you want that?
Me: Aqua had a change of priority, we defend the ocean now, not expand it.
DT: Hmm... well even if what you say is true, there's nothing I can do about it. I sold the technology.
Me: To who?
DT: The Lombardi family.
Me: You're kidding right?
DT: No, why?
Me: None of your business.
*I head to one of the computer terminals*
DT: What are you doing?
Me: Making it so that I know exactly what happened here with all your experiments... and to keep track of you.
*I pull out my TADS and a couple minutes later I close it*
Me: OK Jonas, we're done here.

More importantly, just this past week, I snagged my Garchomp from the Don of the family. He has a couple million pokedollars on my head.

tommy appears on the spot, a dazed look on his face, right in front of the two talking aqauns. he snaps out of it, and says "uh... where are we? and more importantly, how did i get here? he directed the thought towards BL. he takes a look around.

Nero checks his TADS for the mission location. He quickly runs to his Aqua bike and rushes to the scene.
