When it came back both rei and femi were looking at rei's hand. "Hmm?" She said looking up "Oh ok" Rei said picking up femi and handing her to bakura.

Bakura took Femi and, after making sure she was seated correctly, took a hold of the reins and started off. He wanted to get to the palace, see the damned baby and then get out of there.

Femi looked up to her father "Da little b*****d got mommy..." Rei looked wide eyed not exspecting her daughter to repeat what she muttered "Femi! You say snake!"

Bakura, who couldn't quite hear what Rei muttered, didn't understand what his daughter meant. He glanced over at Rei, though, and noticed how she had gotten wide eyed, and let out an angry sigh. He moved the horse next to Rei's, so that they were close enough for him to lean over and touch her.
"Rei, I asked you this before. Did anything happen? Are you okay?" A mixture of anger and worry were in his eyes. He hated being lied to, but was concerned about Rei's health.

"I guess they snake nicked my hand. I hadent noticed it. Femi had noticed the small wound on my hand." Rei offered her right hand. in the crease between her thumb and her pointer finger were two red marks with dried blood on them "My hands get sore once in a while so I really dident think anything of it..I'll be fine. I'll just need to sleep it off."

"God damn it, woman." Bakura hissed, now furious. He leaned over, snatching Rei's hand, unmindful of whatever extra pain it might cause. He examined the two small puncture marks. "Do you know anything about snakes? I hadn't looked at it too closely." Bakura needed to know that this wasn't deadly.

Rei swayd slightly slightly " Snakes show up all the time! I talked to a women about it before. The snake was venomus but not leathal. Im just going to end up feeling crappy. Like a cold." rei said.

"Well, for ******** sake, if something like this happens you don't just brush it off. You need to tell me." Bakura snapped, his eyes narrowing. "I won't be lied to, and I won't have anything being kept from me. If something is wrong, or you think something might be wrong, you tell me."

"Well I dident notice it till about a minute ago and I was going to tell you when we got to the palace so you could flip out off the horse. I was afraid you were going to yank me off the horse just to see my hand."

Bakura didn't look entirely convinced, but it didn't matter. If something like this happened again, he would be more on guard. "Well let's just go. You can stay the night there, if you think you just need to sleep it off." Bakura would have preferred going back to the oasis, but they were a little more than halfway to the palace already.

"I'll be find to get back home." Rei said running her fingers threw kek's hair. "It is just a little nick anyway. Luckly nothing serious..." Rei sighed "I hate snakes. I think there out to get me."

Bakura considered correcting his daughter, reminding her that it was actually 'king', but decided that it just wasn't worth it. He took a hold of the reins again, intent of heading to the palace and hopefully not needing to stop.

Kek snorted "No siilly hed da king!" kek told his sister "ohhh yea he da king!" femi repeated. Rei said nothing wondering what went threw there heads.
