I'm cool with all of those except for Tempest's Wrath and Jaws of the World Wolf. They just seem horribly, horribly overpowered to me. Same on their special weapon. Hell, even the Aegis isn't that bloody damned powerful.

From much gameplay experience with Jaws, it gets 1 or 2 casts tops. If you see a Jaws priest, it gets really easy to deploy around him. Tempest's wrath is nasty.

I like to believe however that the psykers are just the sprinkles on the cake. Not even frosting.

I've seen the massive guy mounted on the Wolf. Is it true that there are Wolf Riders in the codex?

Yes. They're so-so.

Standard space wolves rules and rending

But they're 50 points each. And that's before special weapons and other wargear.

well, with massive bulk of the wolf making cover hard to use, and basic eq like power weapon and storm shield making them quite costly... mixed response.
anyway i have a question to all marine players: how do you counter a "castled" IG artillery - like manticores - behind terrain and/or wall of chimeras / lemans? I am at a loss when trying to frontally assault those, even land raiders get shot to bits sad

Drop pods and Deep Strike.

I would Deep Strike some Land Speeders, a dreadnought, and a unit of terminators behind their line before moving up your land raider.

Orbital Bombardment...
If there is a group of them together, or something the blast marker will reach.
Hmmmm....
Or I deep strike a Iron Clad or Termies.

Sounds like you aren't using any terrain at all. Usually cover is your best bet at closing the range between you and the enemy.

If I'm playing against Guard or Marines, I generally take a unit of 3 land speeders with a land speeder tornado with 2 multi-meltas, and 2 tornados with 2 heavy bolters. They're great at killing infantry, can take out light vehicles with the bolters and tanks with the meltas, and can contest an objective.

Manticores can do the indirect fire, hence terrain actually works better for them (lascannons on the LR would do short work of them if I had LOS).
I am seriously analysing idea of drop pod assault with either combi-melta'ed to the teeth sternguard, or ironclad dread with 2 meltaguns. Also, scouts krak-grenade-charging from the flank can be useful. Drop pod is preferred over other deep strikes because it always lands on the turn 1 and cant be forced into the deep strike mishap table.

I wouldn't spend the points on vanguard for this task.

How do you get an ironclad with 2 meltas? Unless I'm missing something, you can only have 1 with the Seismic Hammer. But an Ironclad with the Hammer and Hurricane Bolter podding in behind a guard's line will wreck them.

Banged 12 women in a single night right before becoming a Space Marine (no significant effect...but damn...)

Faked a series of transmissions that led to an Ork civil war.
Infected a traitor group of Adeptus Mechanicus with their own virus
Lured a Word Bearer lord into landing on thin ice, killing hundreds of traitors.
Trapped an inquisitor in a Grox pen during breeding season.
Spiked Wolf Lord Hrothgar's (YAY BEOWULF!) ale with poison
Tried to attack a Dark Eldar ship, got his first heart ripped out and replaced with a bomb.
