It had come down to this. The vampire daywalkers' reign of terror throughout the day and night was offsetting the balance. To think, the vampires had prior agreed to help them defeat Mauser... What had become of Mauser, anyway? Regardless, the vampires had unleashed a secret weapon upon New York, and the Hunters, the Lycanthropes, and the Tainted all agreed something had to be done.
Now, Krii'Ouse was going into the very den of the being he so despised with all of his being. It would be a gambit, but working together with these other groups would win this battle. Krii'Ouse had no problem with the Lycans, because he was one. Myythren, the female Elder, had one time been a very good aide to the Hunters. She'd helped them through the Lunite Crisis. Now, she would help them again.
Neko, the youngling Tainted elder, Krii'Ouse only fairly knew. She'd persuaded him not to assault her long ago, when he first started Hunting more than keeping an eye on the generator room. They'd gotten better equipment in there, so he was no longer needed in there. Neko had shown him that she was not like other Tainted.
He would still hunt them more then the other two, it was in his blood. Now, however, Krii'Ouse was driving his signature vehicle, a black 69 Corvette Stingray, and pulled up to the Demonic Ties club. Parking in the lot, he raised the convertible top, and turned the music off, having been listening to Blow Me Away by Breaking Benjamin. Opening the door, and turning the ignition off at the same time, he pulled the seat up as he got out, holding his hand into the car.
'Come on, you must be aching to get out of that small a** seat in that outfit.' Krii'Ouse said to Will, who'd been squished into the small back seat, with Lydia. 'Let's get this over with, I can't stand being here.' he reached inbetween the front seats, and pulled his helmet out of a compartment. He slid it on after he pulled his brother out of the back.
'Kerri, would you be a dearand help Lydia out?'

Neko was waiting inside her bar, sitting at a table as she propped up her feet, pushing the chair back onto two legs and just sitting there. Her tails moved gently, a show of how calm she was, waiting for hunters that might want to hurt her people. Her ears were still, for once, as the bar was mostly empty. A good place for a meeting. There was an open book in her lap, her eyes glancing calmly at the open pages before her. The light was dim, but bright enough for her to read by. Yes, a good palce for a meeting.

Seph Lynon Among the shadows Seph lurked in the Central Park, hiding amongst the trees, his body shaking with a craving thirst. He spotted a victim nearby walking through the park. Seph emerged from the shadows, revealing himself to the young victim, a young male. Seph was in the grip of remorseless appetite. And the victim knew it as soon as he laid eyes on Seph. In some wild and unreasoning way, he sensed it; and throwing him a malevolent glance, he ran for his life. Immediatly Seph caught him. In fact, he enjoyed catching him, so simple it was. One instant he was willing himself to reach out and close the distance between them. The next he had him helplessly in his hands, holding him off the ground so that his feet swung free, straining to kick Seph. He held him as easily as a powerful man might hold a child, that was the proportion. His victim's mind was a jumble of frantic thoughts, and he seemed unable to decide upon any course to save himself. But the faint humming of these thoughts was being obliterated. And his body was nothing but a writhing morsol of hot flesh an blood, that Seph must have or die without. It horrified him that this food should be alive, that delicious blood should flow through these strangling arms and fingers, and then it seemed perfect that it should. He was what he was, an Seph was what he was, and he was going to feast upon him. Seph pulled him to his lips. His heart was labouring and nearly bursting . He let his teeth clamp down on the wet leathery skin of his neck. The fountain opened; his life like a sewer. The blood hit the roof of his mouth. He gave a little cry as he crushed his victim against him, tasting of the luscious, thick human heart that pumped it, the very essence of that hot, smokey scent. Seph could feel his shoulders rising, his fingers biting deeper in his flesh, and almost a humming sound rose out of him. It was with all of his will that he, before the final moment in which the heart of the victim stopped beating, he forced the victim from himself. How he wanted to feel his heart stop. How he wanted to feel the beats slow an cease and know that he possesed him. No sport. Too easy. No cunning. No malice. Crude as a lizard he had been, swallowing fly after fly He slid heavily from Seph's arms, his limbs sprawling out on the ground, the whites of his eyes showing beneath his half closed eyelids. The blood warmed him. He felt it beating in his veins. His face was hot against the palms of his hands, and his vision had grown powerfully sharp. He felt strong beyond all imagining. As he tumbled soudlessly from his grip, Seph was swimming in mammalian blood. Good enough.... He closed his eyes, letting the hot coil penetrate his intestines. In a daze, he saw him stumbling on his knees across the floor. So exquisitely clumsy. He jerked him back by his collar. His big empty eyes rolling into his head. Then he kicked at Seph, blindly, this bully. He lifted him to his hungry mouth again, fingers sliding through his hair, and felt him stiffen as if his fangs were dipped in poison. Again the blood flooded his brain. He felt it electrify the tiny veins of his face. He felt it pulse even to his fingers, and a hot prickling warmth slid down his spine. Drought after drought filled him. Succulent, heavy creature. Then he let him go once more, and when he let him go this time, he went after him, dragging him across the floor, turning his face to him, then tossing him forward and letting him struggle again. He was speaking to Seph now, in something that ought to be language, but it wasn't. He pushed at him but he could no longer see clearly. And for the first time a tragic dignity infused the man, a vague look of outrage, blind as he was. His fingers clawed at the instep of his boot. Seph lifted him up, and when he tore his thoat this time, the wound was too big. It was done. He picked up the corpse and dragged it to a place where he thought no one would find it, and threw it aside, the body landing far out of sight, but not enough for an animal not to see the rotting body later as it decayed. A human would never find it. It seemed like forever in his mind that, it took him so long to walked through the downtown area, cloaking his pale skin, and wearing his normal gloves that would cover his unusually long nails, that lokked somewhat like glass. A common trait for a vampire. He found himself nearing the place he was seeking from where he had come from. Seph walked over to a Bar building that looked rather dark, feeling stronger than before, placing his hand gently on the knob as he turned it and smiled before emerging from the door . His dark figure, little known to the rest of the Haven, appeared through the door, as he gracefully walked with light feet over to the bar. His lengthy white hair, wavering in the breeze that followed him through the door. +---Enter Bar----+ All in all, he thought, this may have been a futile attempt. He could see no one in the bar, save a few midnight drunks. As he furthered into the bar, he noticed even the Tender was asleep. Purposely, he dragged and stomped his feet rather heavily on the floor, in pursuit of waking the sleepy barkeep, but to no avail. He reached the bar, and merely picked up a stool. With this, he would bring it down on the counter, smashing it to bits. With a start the barkeep would wake, rather grumpily in fact. He rambled on about random obscenities, until his face was blue. Realizing that Seph did not care, he calmed himself, and spoke up. "What can I get for you sir?" Seph noted the tone of the mans voice, as his anger was due past. I'll have a scotch, with ice. Move it." HIs own tone suggested he wished to get out as fast he could. He traveled long and far for this damn Coven. And damned if he was gonna leave without something. He looked around once more, his ocean blue eyes peering from behind the shades. He grimanced, and gave a disgusted look. How far the race of Vampires', Lycans' and Tainteds' had fallen from themselves. Shadows, merely shadows, of their former glory.

At first, Lydia had been going to say that she did not need help to get out of the car. Really, it was a simple process. However, in the back as she was, in a car that seemed to have made more than two passangers an afterthought, she was a little stuck. Well, she would not have been stuck if she used her powers, but she disliked using them for mundane things. It took the fun out of life, using her powers to open doors and such other things. Then again, she also did not know HOW to move the seat in front of her so she could get out...

"Of course," she said as Krii got out of the car, pulling will out of his compact prison in the process. Grinning slightly, she pulled on the latch that would slide the passenger seat forwards to that Lydia would be able to comfortably get out of the car without trying to squeeze herself between the seats. Offering her hand to the huntress, Kerrigan have her a soft smile.
"Come on Lydia...lets make sure our men dont do anything stupid...you know that is the real reason they drug us along." She grinned, signaling she was kidding, but at the same time she had the same uneasy feeling that she always had when she was surrounded by immortals she couldnt fight. this was the same feeling she had felt with the last gathering of the races...though that time the uneasiness came from the vampires in that group. Right now, however, she needed to stay focussed and make sure that Krii and Will were not walking into some sort of death trap.

Will smirked as the four of them got out of the "Kriivette" and made their way to the doors. To his right was Lydia, his wife and mother to his child but also one of the most powerful psychics in the city, who'd been trained practically from birth in the use of her powers and the hunting of the supernatural. To his left was Krii'Ouse, not only his blood brother and another powerful psychic, but a werewolf of near Alpha-level and the Omega Hunter, the chosen champion of their people and the last line of defense. Next to him was Kerrigan, Krii'Ouse's mate and Will's longtime friend, not to mention a vampire of incredible skills and quickness. And last but not least was himself. Leader of the New York Hunter Group, a highly trained and experienced fighter with connections to the Pope himself as well as other figures of authority throughout the world, and the holder of a mystical power not of the mortal world. Oh yes. Together, they made for a most impressive show of force.
Ignoring anyone in his way, Will strode to the doors and flung them open. Senses keen and alert, he stepped through into another's territory yet again, the others mere steps behind him as they looked around for Neko.

Neko didn't even flinch as the door slammed open to admit four hunters into her bar. Idly flipping to the next page in her book before closing it gently, the young woman said, "Could you please not slam the door like that? It's bad for the frame, not to mention the door, and causes a lot of noise." Putting her feet down on the ground and standing, the Tainted elder walked over to the bar to put away her book. There seemed something odd about this young woman today, though at first glance, few people would know what.
Instead of her usual Chinese infulenced clothing, Neko was wearing a silk, blue button down shirt that hit at her elbow, the cuffs rolled up a fair amount. The shirt was tucked neatly into a black, blue pinstriped skirt that fell to her knees and had a slit, only an inch long, in the back. Her shoes, instead of her usual cloth ones, were a pair od blue kitten heels, the same color as her shirt and made a clicking noise against the floor. Her hair wasn't in a braid, but was pulled back into a half ponytail, giving her an air of sophistication that made her seem like she was in her mid twenties instead of her late teens.
Sitting back down at the table, the Tainted waved to the other seats around the table. "Come and sit. Hopefully the others will be here soon so we can start. Also, do any of you want something to eat?" If any of them had known Neko very well, they would've heard a bit of anger in her voice. Dressed up as she was, it looked like she was ready to go on a date and was angry at being interupted.

Krii'Ouse smiled under his cowl, so it's purpose mostly defeated, but he continued anyway. 'Why, sure. What have you got? I'm still famished.' he said, walking up to the table. He pulled out two chairs, and stood behind one, looking at Kerrigan, patiently. He'd finished his cigarette some time ago, and now chewed on some Orbit chewing gum.
Turning his attention back to Neko, he telekinetically removed his sunglasses, and put them in his shirt, hanging by the arm. 'Who are we waiting on? Myythren and the other guy?' he asked, not recalling the Lycan Alpha's name from the last meeting they had, which wasn't all that long ago. He just couldn't seem to remember. Of course, being incapacitated for a few days from majour wounds received by an enchanted silver sword don't help his memory, either.
He winced as his back wound flared up for a moment, still properly healing. Maybe he had been a bit wreckless, leaving the Infirmary so swiftly, and not bothering to give it enough time to fully heal. He hid the pain, so as not to give the appearance of a weakness and give anyone a thought of supremacy over a wounded target. No, he was suppressing his pain as much as he could.

Will knew Krii'Ouse better than almost anyone, so he definately noticed the brief wince of pain. Coming up beside him, he silently placed a single finger on hi brother's back, allowing some of the power to flow out of him and into Krii'Ouse, giving him a small dose of "healing juice" as Will sometimes called his advanced healing powers. After just a couple of seconds, he pulled his hand away unnoticed. Hopefully, that would be enough to temporarily boost his healing and dull any pain he felt. He needed minds that were clear and unclouded by pain or anger.
Walking to Neko, he bowed briefly in respect. "Elder Neko. Forgive us if we have intruded upon your territory at an inopprotune time. We merely wish to discuss with you and with the elders of the Lycan clans about the vampire situation as soon as possible. We thank you for your graciousness in allowing us here."
Ok, so he was laying it on a little thick. It never hurt to be polite, especially when internal politics and negotiations were involved. Besides, he wasn't stupid. He'd grown up with a mother and two sisters, and had mostly girls as his friends growing up. He knew the faint warning signs of an irritated female. Best not to provoke her any more than they might have already without realizing it.
Backing up, he gestured to the others with him. "I'm sure you know mostly everyone already, Elder. This is my second in command Krii'Ouse, who I know that you've met before. This is Kerrigan, pretty much our organization's expert on vampirism. And this is my wife, Lydia, our most powerful psychic."

The moment Will started talking, a smile lit on Neko's face. So, she was apparently as obvious as a cat who had just missed it's prey. Well, such was life. "Please, Will, we are all friends here, so don't start getting all formal on me. I'm not Elder Neko anymore than you are Elder Will, and calling me such just makes me feel old, which I'm not. At least not yet. And as to why I seem less than happy...well, yes, it has to do with this meeting, but it mostly has to do with some idiocy I had to deal with that kept me from important buisness. I'll get to that after this meeting, though."
Again, a genuine smile came to rest on the Tainted's lips. It was nice dealing with people who didn't give her problem after problem after problem. "Well, Krii'Ouse I've met before, but I don't believe I've met...what was it? Kerrigan and Lydia?" The elder made sure to roll both names around in her head so that she would remember them later. "And you got married, Will? That's the first I've heard of it!" True, while Neko did have connections, she didn't like spying on other people. Extending a warm hand of friendship to the two women, the young woman made sure to be friendly. "It's nice to meet both of you, even though I'd rather it be under better circumstances. As I'm sure you've heard, I'm Neko."

After having gotten out of the car, albeit with some help from Kerrigan, Lydia followed everyone into the bar where they would be holding this meeting. The psychic had never been here before, but she had heard a little bit about it. A bar where anyone could come and expect peace, no fights or brawls. The idea seemed too good to be true, yet here it was, and suddenly they were met with the owner of the establishment. Neko, she had said her name was, but that did not sound like a given name. Still, with no other name to call her by, Lydia would have to make do.
Getting a measure of the younger woman before taking her outstretched hand, Lydia could not put a definate age to her, though she knew the Tainted was younger. How had one so young arisen to the title of Elder? Was she that powerful at such a young age. If so, the psychic made a note to give this white-haired Tainted a wide berth.
"I am Lydia, it is nice to meet you." she said, taking Neko's hand and giving it a firm shake. This elder was also shorter than Lydia, easily the shortest in the room. Perhaps that was what made her look young, despite her clothes which seemed to be chosen to counterbalance that youthfulness.

Kerrigan walked over to Krii, but remained standing as she was introduced to the tainted elder. She smiled as the younger woman extended her hand, one which Kerrigan accepted and shook warmly. She might have been thirsty as all hell, but she was not going to let that ruin the meeting she had been asked to be at.
"The pleasure is all mine Neko." With that, she did take a seat, tossing a few long blonde curls behind her shoulders. She was not sure that the elder knew she was a vampire herself, but she did not mention it. If Will introduced her as the expert on vampires, then that is what she would be. She did not make any attempt to hide her race, however. Chances were that the elder already knew anyways.

Smiling slightly, Will pulled out a chair for Lydia to sit down in. The two huntresses and the Elder seemed to be getting along well. Good. It was both excellent for negotiations and personally pleasing to him. After all, aside from Myythren Neko was one of the leaders of the other factions that he actually got along with really well. Ever since they'd first met in that weapon shop nearly two years ago, while they weren't exactly friends they both knew that they could trust the other not to screw them over. In their line of work, that was more than enough.
Turning to Krii'Ouse, he nodded to his second. "Sethe, please call the Lycan Elders and let them know that we have arrived at the Ties for the arranged meeting, and eagerly await them."
