Still laughing at Meir's reactions to the berries, she turned her attention to Drake. "There are, he liked to help me train and help me on various adventures." Nodding she smiled at the memories of them fishing together. "Besides, Meir doesn't seem like he'd be useless all creatures have a purpose."

Drake snorting but Meir chirped in appreciation. Ray simply smiled and picked up her familiar, stroking him fondly as he gave off an odd purr. "Meir can be very useful. Drake just doesn't like him...or anything." Drake narrowed his eyes are her. "I like some things...just not your pet."

Rolling her eyes, R'larin smiled. "So he really is tall, dark, and brooding." Giggling softly she jumped lithely off of the fallen tree to pace around a little.

Drake raised a brow at R'larin then turned and narrowed his eyes at Ray. Ray simply smiled and batted her lashes at him while recieved a growl in return. "Don't talk about me to people, elf." She just rolled her eyes. "Don't be so mean and rude infront of R'larin, human."

Sunray Tristram Feeling Tess move away from him, Rohan slowly brought himself out of meditation and stretched, his joints slightly stiff. He needed to get out and walk more. "Surviving the night is always nice come morning." She laughed brightly, leaning over to nuzzle his cheek. "You're so very optimistic this morning."

Rohan blushed lightly. "Well, it is optimistic if you have to live outside each day." He rubbed his head lightly then started to stretch out a little more before pushing himself up to sit.

Tess blushed softly, sitting back to give him room to sit up and move. "Probably. But I think it would be much worth the risk to enjoy nature every day. Every morning."

Cocking her head, R'larin's ears twitched in curiosity as she watched the other elf and the human bantering at each other. She didn't like humans much, but he reminded her of Nikolaus. Smiling sadly she collected her pack off of the ground and slung it over her shoulder. "I know the two of you came out here to spar, but do you know of a place I could get a decent challenge?"

Rohan looked back at her, his head tilted. "I know a better way to enjoy nature. Living in a elven village is the best way, I think. It's safe and elves love nature." He then stood and stretched his back. "Too bad I don't know where one might be."
Ray and Drake looked back at R'larin at the same time. "Sadly, we don't. If we did, we'd go there to spar but we've not come across anyone else who's up to par...or at least would want to practice." Drake snorted. "It's hella boring. I'd rather be standing over that army of Leo's."

She sat back on her hands and closed her eyes, thinking, imagining. "Tell me about elven villages," she asked softly, curiously, "What are they like? I've never had a sense of connectedness before this. Butthat's got to be an important part of life in a place like that."

Rohan looked away for a moment. He didn't know quite what to tell her since he'd barely lived anywhere for long. "Well...from personal experience, I'm not sure. I know I was born in one but I didn't stay there long." He didn't go into why he didn't stay. It wasn't a subject that needed to be talked about. "But from what else I've seen, they're very open. Depending on the type of elf, the architecture differs from elegant to necessary for simple survival. But what they all have in common is thay they're open for the most part. Rooms barely being rooms or rooms with large doors or windows. Stuff like that."

She smiled, closing her eyes and imagining, then sighed, softly, leaning forward to stand up.
"Sounds wonderful. But, no offense intended, I'm glad you didn't stay."
She smiled shyly, and slipped her pack up onto her shoulder.
"Now which way is the stream? I can hear it, but I can't see it."

Blushing slightly, Rohan smiled then packed up his things. "Um.." He stood still for a moment, listening for the running water. "Sounds like it's straight ahead. Not too far off."

Throwing her hands up in disgust of the place she had managed to land herself in, she settled them down on her hips with a sigh. "I wish I had known that no dragon is worth the borish hell this place is." Laughing, she twitched her ears, "No complete harm caused though. I suppose."

Ray couldn't help but laugh a little. "Someone around here has to be able to fight, I'm sure. We just haven't found them yet." Drake nodded but said nothing more on the subject. His thoughts were basically the same as R'larin's.
