Samuel blinked again at her comment. "W-well...I-I'm pretty n-nervous around e-everyone.." he said quietly while one of his slender, bandaged hands moved to brush the hair out of his face. Sam blinked again. "A-ah...wh-what assumptions..?" he asked while blinking again.

"O-oh, w-w-well, umm..... I was thinking about what you said about your mom, and then remembered what was under your bandages. I was thinking, that, if you are an 'accidental' born child. I was thinking that she doesn't really, umm, well, l-love you like a-a m-m-mother should. I also thought sh-sh-she might b-be, ummmm... w-w-w-well, a-ab-abu-abusing you." the the last two words shot out of her mouth like a bullet and she ducked her head hoping he wouldn't yell at her.

Samuel blinked, his eyes a bit wide to show his surprise. He opened his mouth to say something, but closed it again when nothing came out. Sam lowered his head a bit, staying silent before he quickly pulled up his hood to hide his face, his slender fingers clutching onto the cloth.

"I made you upset by saying that didn't I?" she felt that it was now her fault. "I told you you might get angry." she looked down and felt like she was going to cry.

Sam carefully peered out from under the hood to look at Yuki, his eyes a bit watery. He saw the way she looked and felt guilty for upsetting her. He wanted to burst into tears, and yet he didn't want to upset Yuki any furthur. Samuel thought for a moment then swallowed hard at what he was about to do. His slender arms quickly reached out and pulled her to him in a hug as he shut his eyes tightly and blushed, praying she wouldn't get angry.

Her eyes shot open and the tears roled down her face. When she looked up to see Sams bright red face. She didn't think. She just huged him back. She felt that he was sorry for something. She didn't care though. All she knew was that he was hugging her and she was happy about it. She looked up at him again and noticed that there were tears cought in his eye lashes, which she took as proof that he was now sad. She felt that she had to take the blame, but said nothing. She baried her face into his chest. "I'm sorry if I upset you. I didn' tmean to." she was leting the tears spill out now. She didn't care at this point weather he felt the same about her as she did him. She just wanted to stay like that, hugging him.

Samuel lightly rested one of his hands on the back of her head when she didn't pull away. He bent to gently bury his face against her should, trying hard not to cry himself. "I-I'm s-so s-sorry, Miss Yuki.." he murmured quietly as he sniffled a little. "I-I d-didn't mean to m-make y-you c-cry..!" Sam continued to hug her, not yet wanting to let her go. Yuki was his friend, and he was agonizing over the fact that she was crying because of him. He heard her apology and moved to quickly wipe his tears away. "N-no, i-it's alright! I-I c-cry easily.." he gave a weak laugh in hopes of getting rid of her guilt.

Yuki started crying harder as he spoke those last words. She wasn't crying from sadness of guilt. She was just happy. She wanted so bad right now to just hug him and cry all night long. She didn't want to let him go. She was too happy to even think of anything else. She calmed down for the moment. "I don't know if you care, but I wanted to tell you something very important." she said wiping the fresh tears from her face.

When she started crying harder Samuel bit his bottom lip, looking at her worridly as he tentively stroked her hair a little. After she had calmed down a bit, he blinked. "O-of course I-I care, wh-what is it?" he asked quietly as he tentively and softly patted the top of her head.

She blushed a very deep pink. "U-um, well. I......." she paused for a moment. "I-I l-l-l-love you!" she cringed at hopes that he felt remotely the same.

Samuel blinked and his eyes grew wide as his face turned a deep red color. He faultered and scrambled for words. "A-as a-a f-friend..?" he asked quietly and tentively, unsure of how to handle this. It had been a long time since someone had claimed to love him, he wasn't sure if Yuki meant as a friend, a brother, or a lover. He could only stand there, hugging her as he tried to think.

"M-more. More than a friend. MUch, much, more. Like, I don't want to let you go right now kind of love." she clenched some of his shirt in her hand. It just showed as pure proof that she wasn't lying.

It didn't seem possible, but Samuel's face turned even reder. W-what do I do?! he thought as he was on the verge of panicking. Sam swallowed hard as he tried to think of something to say. "O-oh.." he managed to murmur as he continued to hug her. He felt her hand tighten on his shirt and he bit his bottom lip, wondering what he should do. "W-w-why d-do y-you say th-that..?" he asked her nervously, wondering why she liked him and how she could like him.

Yuki sniffled and wiped the last of her tears from her face. "You care about me. You listen to me and help me even when I don't ask. You are nice to me, you don't do things that will hurt me. I couldn't imagine anyone like you until I saw you. I just. I thought when kids picked on me at school about how I never had a boyfriend, I just couldn't think. I used to sit up all night thinking of what I wanted. When I figured it out, I couldn't find anyone. But when I met you, after I helped you that one night..." her voice trailed off. "I couldn' tstand it anymore. I wanted so badly to know more about you. When you were sick though. My heart felt like it was going to burst. I almost thought you were going to die. I'll tel ya. I wasn't going to live without you. Weather you accepted me like that or not." she explained the whole thing.
