Type of Communist: Socialist
Currently I consider myself a Socialist, but as I learn more that will likely be subject to change. I'm not so egotistical as to assume that I know everything about everything, and I'm really here to learn. I'll try not to ask questions that are too stupid, but forgive me if I do.
Over the past few years I find myself moving more and more to the left of the political spectrum. From Republican (I know...I'm still ashamed of myself), to Democrat, to where I am today.

Then you're going in the right direction! Try not to be intimidated by the level of conversation the goes on sometimes. Don't be afraid to ask what terms mean or anything. Everyone here is friendly and is more than willing to help.

Heres what I think,

Type of Communist: Marxist, Socialist.
I've been called Communist, Marxist and Socialist. By all of my peers. I consider myself only Marxist and Socialist. I am against Capitalism in it's current state. I like Lenin, Marx and Engels. I'm not that big on the whole Stalin 'thing' because of his paranoia and mass killings.
But that's only my opinion.

Salutations! I've been a long time supporter of Communism, It been the ideology that has appealed to me the most and I've looked into it through study's on WW2 and the before period. But I don't know it all and I'm sure my fellow Comrades will be more then delighted to share a bit of wisdom. I was compared to the Russian propaganda minister, but I'm not sure how they came about with that.

I'm living capitilist right now but my ideals align more with those of the communist and socialist party. The economic depression we are sleeping in is due to this horrible capitilism which only grows the fine pockets of the wealthy while blue collar workers die daily for a shiny penny.

Type of Communist: There is only one kind, anything else is just a cover for those capitalist pigs. If you think I am joking, you need only listen to the words I speak.
I have been a devoted member to the communist party for several years now and it has only been for the last two that I have come to communicate using the internet(thus the reason why I joined this guild.). I am happy to be part of this guild and look forward to bringing it up from the asshes and into the faces of the other members of this site. I am dedicated to the party and have no problem calling fellow members out on their misinformations and ill-repute ways, this is to prevent insertion from outsiders and to keep the ways of Marx alive and well and not mutated by those who claim to be part of our way of life. Enough said.

I think most of us realize that the positions we held on to for so long aren't the most practical (or in the case of some positions, having truth, like Santa Claus). It lets us know that we actually think and change over the years.

Type of Communist: Open-minded unaligned.
Not completely unaligned, you see. Originally, I had no thoughts one way or the other. However, as political discussion became more and more unavoidable, I decided to find a side, and so far, Communism looks to be the most enthralling.
I joined to learn more about Communism, perhaps to assimilate to it. Which is why my knowledge of it may be initially stunted. Perhaps in time it will be remedied.
