*So far so good. Gabriel's attention was on holding back the beast. As the spell deteriorated, Than burst forth through it. All seven of his wings were sprouted, and it was those that had given him the quick speed boost he needed. Coming within inches of the blade Gabriel held, Than throws his left hand forward, the orb of corrupting power ready, and tried to pin Gabriel right on his chest*

Grr..... !? *Gabriel sees Than appear through the breaking spell and turns in reflex to try and take off his arm. However, not even Gabriel's blade could destroy Than's arm now. The blade just hits the seemingly metal arm to no avail, as it made contact with his chest. Instantly, the corrupt energy spreads like a plague through Gabriel. His aura would instantly start to rupture, badly. Gabriel stumbles back and roars in pain as the energy continued to spread. If this worked the same way it had on Apollo, then Than had just won this match*

*Galette raises an eyebrow, he hadn't seen this coming, the high angel taken down by some fool of a boy ? he smirks silghtly, if he wasn't in his own temple this boy would kill him*

*Than sighed slightly as he came back to the ground, closing his eye* Gomen nasai... I didn't want it to end this way. *Than turned his back to Gabriel and started walking away. By now all of the light had died down. Than heads to the nearest available exit. Did he plan to just walk out and ignore Galette? It seemed that way*

~Still wandering aimlessly around the Temple, Truinthil looked a bit bored. His eyes were blank of expression, a perfect match for the blankness on his face. Rarely did his eyes stray from staring directly ahead of him as he walked, though the fact that he still saw everything would not be known to any near him. Suddenly his wandering came to a stop, however, when he sat down fairly randomly in the middle of the hallway he was in.
Sitting crosslegged with his arms folded across his chest and his eyes closed, he looked to be meditating, though why he would chose to do so right in the middle of a hallway would remain unknown for the time being.~

*Than stopped with his hand on the door and turned to look at Galette* To the victor goes the spoils, right? stare I didn't fight just to appease an egomaniac. You can either let me go or I can do that technique to you and whoever else you use. *He glared, his voice becoming louder. Than had used up a lot of energy in his last act against Gabriel.... but he would do it again if he had no other option*

*In actuality, Gabriel had yet to go down. He doubled over where he was, in pain. However, it was far from over. Gabriel slowly starts to collect himself and fight back against the paradoxal energy within him. With Than talking to Galette, the boy wouldn't notice that Gabriel still lived. Calling back all of the aura that he had unleashed, Gabriel actually starts to overcome the power. It now focuses into his left guantlet. It wasn't meant to contain that kind of power, but it would do for one attack* You damn brat! You'll pay for trying to make a fool of me!! *Gabriel's eyes shone with rage at Than. Gabriel raised the guantlet to Than and fired back the massive corrupt energy. In all essence, Gabriel had thrown Than's attack right back at him*

*Than was about to leave while retorting to Galette when Gabriel's voice boomed over the room. Than turned with a start, completely surprised that Gabriel was still able to stand. The shot was a blinding speed because of the Gauntlet's aura bullet launching ability. Than winces his eye shut and tries to fall backwards, but the orb struck him and went straight into his body* AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! *Than's body felt like it was ripping apart. He hugged to himself tightly and slammed against the ground. Than tossed and flinched as if he'd been thrown on a bed of spikes. Maybe Galette should look into that idea. Blood burst from various points of the boy's body, including his wings which seemed to contort and wrap vanely around him. Blood also seeped from his mouth, same as it had done to Apollo, and more blood bursts out from his destroyed left eye, of which the wound had been reopened by the attack*

*Gabriel just grinned slightly, wiping the blood from his own lip* Poor kid. *The gauntlet on his left wrist cracked and then broke apart. The corrupted power had been too much for it*He almost had me.... but he just had to turn his back to me at the worse possible time. *Gabriel approached Than and walked around him, opening the door to the hall* Why don't we show the rest of the world just how badly you lost? *Gabriel leapt over Than, so the boy was between Gabe and the door. Gabe throws a pulverizing kick at the downed Than and sends the boy flying out into the hall and crashing into the opposing wall* twisted

GAHHH! *Than contorts violently as he's slammed into the wall. Now out in the halls, there was nothing to conceal his screams, even less his power. The severity of Gabriel's counter was greater than Thanatos would ever have anticipated. Since the shadow symbiote was removed, Than's aura had been in a sort of crysallis, a cacoon, as it changed. However, this new corruption that seemed through Than had destroyed that crysallis. Than was no longer in pain from the corrupted energy Gabe had thrown back, which had now been pushed out of his body by the little bit of Than's concentration and the mark on his back. Now, Than was in pain from the premature release of his own aura. It was only part way through its evolution..... and now it was severely unstable, only causing Than more pain. The boy does try to control his pain, but only ends up screaming continuously as the unstable aura lashed out through the hall*

*Gabriel held his sword to his side and watched Than for now, a sadistic smile on his face. He speaks somewhat to Galette, but more to himself* I never thought in my lifetime I'd see another one of him..... another gnosis. This is almost too perfect. *Gabriel continued to watch, not caring if anyone could feel Than's odd energy and was curious enough to come close*
