Kyle awaited for Ryanna to answer.
Mr. Brown was doing the same. Kyle felt like he was about to pick up the phone and say Hi, but that would be rude.

Eva felt her limbs straightening out, lifting her to her feet entirely of their own accord. She Yeti's shout to her left, but was unable to fully turn to look at him. She could only see the muzzle of his gun out of the corner of her eye, and it caused a sinking sensation in her stomach. He'd messed up, badly. And she couldn't open her mouth to tell him just how big of a mistake it was.
The child's eyes widened in shock, the right one still red from its run-in with Eva's laser pointer. The look quickly faded and a smirk tautened his lips.
"You're not going to shoot me, dummie. I'm just a kid, right?" He giggled, and jerked his left hand forwards. Eva felt herself unsheathe her bowie knife and charge at Yeti, stabbing haphazardly as she went.

"No. I am, you maybe a kid, but that doesn't excuse your actions!" Yamato said as he rolled away from Eva. He shot at the kid's shoulder, he didn't want to do this but, he couldn't let the kid control him just because he was a kid. He fought brats like this before, they usually gave up after they got hit a few times.

He sat down in the only chair infront of the desk. He had a towel around his neck and was now drinking orage pop. He was breathing heavily and looked down and closed his eyes.

Eva immediately felt her body return to her control. The first thing she did was run to the kid, who was now writhing on the floor and screaming in pain. She held his hands immobile with one hand while she tore a strip out of his shirt with the other, using it to swab out the hole that now went clean through his shoulder. He was bleeding liberally, and stood a chance of dying from blood loss if he didn't recieve treatment.
"Tell me Yeti, were you dropped on your head as a kid or something? What the hell did you shoot him for?" She was absolutely livid. She tore another strip off his shirt and used it to bandage the wound, tying it so tightly that the boy gave a little gasp of pain and passed out. "I don't have time to rip you a new one now, but believe you me kid, you'll be getting yours back at base." She lifted the limp child onto her back and set off at a jog through the woods back to the portal, not checking behind to see if Yeti had followed.

"I didn't have much of a choice did I? Would you have rather I shot you? He is going to be fine, I did't shoot him in his vitals, it was meant to cause him pain, which is what it did." Yeti said as he ran to keep up with her. "I am sorry. I didn't know it would be such a big deal." He said as he jumped through the portal with her.

She didn't respond. She simply carried the boy to the infirmary, deposited him in the care of several bemused doctors, and continued to Ryanna's office without stopping.
"Commander, a penny for your thoughts." She walked right up to the desk and leaned on it, covered in dirt and congealing blood. "You know that simple little missing persons case? It is alright if the parcel suffered some light damage during recovery?" Eva was obviously still furious. She was practically baring her teeth.

Yamato ran to keep up with Eva, she was steaming. "I'm sorry, ok? I didn't mean to hurt the kid, I just wanted to scare him! It was the only way, I didn't think I would hit him, I told you that my hand is shaky, I thought it would miss, but show him that we meant business. I didn't want to hurt, or worse, kill my superior! Why didn't you tell me what to do if you realized I was wrong? I am new to this, am I not? I did the same thing in the guard, they taught me how to do it and that is the way they showed us how to deal with hostile children that wouldn't come with us." Yeti told her, he meant no disrespect, he was just trying to explain himself.

Ryanna's brow quirked slightly as Eva walked into her office, followed by Yamato. A hardly audible sigh escaped into the air, as she stood, from where she had been seated. She wavered her hand to the phone, she was going to let it wait for a bit longer.
"Evening Suntzu, Yeti. I take it something about the child's well-being went Amiss, Correct?"
Eva was incredibly seething about something and Yamato was oviously at fault because he kept apologizing, but she'd let them explain fully first.

"Commander, there was a problem. The child turned Eva into a puppet, she was attacking me! I shot at the kid, he was controlling her, I did what I had to do, I didn't want to shoot my superior! The kid...I never meant to hurt him, I never meant for the bullet to actually connect! It was a mistake, I deserve to be punished." Yamato said, bowing down on his knees to Ryanna.
