Rei couldent help but smile as she touched him "...your real.." she said and sat up.She them hugged him burrying her face into the nook of his neck.

"I'd hope I am." Bakura said, poking his own chest, doubting his existence for a moment. He embraced Rei back, trying hard not to hurt her.

Rei look up to him for a moment a smile on her face.She then placed a gently kiss on his lips.

Bakura kissed her back, but briefly. "The spirits-- the ghosts of the villagers-- were the ones who did that to you. They obey me, but I hadn't ordered them not to attack you, since they don't usually attack people within my presence unless I order them."

"You're lying." Bakura stated, studying Rei closely. He had to learn the difference between when a person was lying and telling the truth. "But it's okay. There are some things people don't want to tell."

Rei was quiet for a moment before she spoke "my whole body...feels like its on fire." she told him "the pain dosent stop..or lessen..or go away.."

Bakura was silent-- he wasn't sure what he'd be able to do. He wasn't sure what anybody would be able to do for her at the moment. "I think that you should--" He started to say, but quickly broke off. "No. Never mind. Everything is going to be fine."

Bakura slipped off one of his golden rings and twiddled it between his fingers. "Here. In case anything happens." He took Rei's left hand in his own and slipped the ring on one of her fingers, though not the ring finger. "Like in case the pharaoh tries to take you again. Just... don't ask."

Rei blinked as she looked and the ring "Oh..alright.." she said smiled softly.It felt good to just relax with him.
