"You'd be surprise. Don't worry, I can keep up," Seto smirked- taking on the challenge. Though he wasn't sure if he could last. But he was willing to try. He could do it- he told himself. He began walking with her. "Do you do this a lot? Walk back home?" he asked, his voice was rough- as it was always, but he tried to be nicer.
Akiko rolled on her side, she was drifting to sleep. She thought about the date. She's technically never been on one- her ex never did anything for her. Why did she even go out with him? Was she that lonely? No, he bewitched her with false words. Akiko was trying to think things through- Yugi didn't do the same thing. He didn't act like he did, he seemed to be true. No, after what Yugi did- there should be no doubt in her mind. But old scars heal slow.

Nala smirked "i walked here and now im Walking back" she said, she dident want to show her true feelings yet, she dident know if they were real. she glared at him, his eyes were nice, no what was she thinking, she cant care for him.
Yugi made a list of everything he would need for the date, he was still nervious but luckly Atem was reasuring him.

Seto noticed the glare. He was actually a bit hurt. He didn't show that though, instead he shot a glare back. "I don't see why you just don't drive," he said harshly. He wasn't about to show her that a glare upset him- even though it did. Too bad Seto had a bad tendency to say the wrong thing at the wrong time.
Akiko rolled over waking up. She yawned, that was a nice half hour nap. She laid on her bed on her back and thought. "He likes games..... huh...." she was contemplating on something. She should get him something, it seemed to be the right thing since he invited her.

Nala stopped in her tracks, she actuly looked scared, ofcorse if you watched your friends die in a car accadent, you would be scared of driving and cars too.
Anala hit her head, why, of all things, did Seto have to menchen driving. //you want me to take over?// she asked Nala.
/No, im fine/ Nala answered. The memery came back and she looked like she was ready to cry.
Yugi pulled out the paper with Akikos number on it, she did say to call her. He took a deep breath and diled, he wated for her to pick up.

He stopped with her, now what? Did he say something wrong? Was glaring at her scared her? He didn't understand but he did feel guilty. "What?" He said in a softer tone. His face softened and he walked up to her.
//Seto, your such an a**....// Seth face palmed.
/Oh stay out of this!/ he snapped back at him.
Akiko's phone rang, she reached over for it lazily and moaned, "Ehhh!" Suddenly it stopped, "Huh?"
"Hello?" Jia picked up the phone in the living room. Jia was Akiko's older cousin- though she acted like her older sister. She was louder and tougher then Akiko, but nice. She was there to help unpack. "Who is this?"

Nala shook her head "jest stay away from me, i hate you, i hate everything about you!" she yelled and ran off with Anubis close behind her.
"Umm...this is Yugi, Akiko asked me to call her" Yugi said nerviously.

Seto was more worried then angry. He ran after her and grabbed her arm, "Wait! What did I do!" he shouted nervously. Did Seth lie? Did she really hate him? His eyes were hurt, they haven't looked like this since he was a child.
Jia leaned against the wall with the phone inbetween her shoulder and ear. She crossed her arms, "Oh really? Why did she want you to call?" Jia was grilling him for information.
Akiko could hear her cousin from her room, "Jia! Who is it!" she yelled out.
Jia yelled out, "PICK UP THE DAMN PHONE AND FIND OUT!!!" she yelled as she walked down the hall into her room.

"No, I want you to tell me. Just open up and tell me," he stood close to her. He kept his hand on her arm.

Jia walked into her room and tossed the phone underhanded to Akiko, "Your boyfriend is on the line." Jia liked teasing Akiko.
"You always have to be a ball buster, don't you Jia?" she smirked as she took the phone. "Jie get out of my room."
Jia stuck her tongue out. Then she mocked, "Don't make loud smootching noises!" She closed her door and left.
Akiko rolled her eyes, "Sorry Yug, that was my dumb cousin. Eh, but she's family."

"Because maybe I do care!" he shouted it slightly. He just wanted her to try like he was. Now that he knew why she did this- why she pushed him away- he was going to keep trying even harder.
"Yeah, she is, but she busts to much," Akiko laid back on her bed. She then said, "I just wanted to thank you, for what you did before. It meant a lot to me..... it must have taken a lot of courage to do that."

He moved his hand down to her hand instead of her arm. "I'll take my chance! I'm not afraid of getting hurt," he stared into her eyes. He could see the pain that his brother held in his eyes when their parents died. He didn't care what happened, he wasn't giving up.
"Yea," she said calmly as she lied there. "One day, you should come over and see my house- it's nothing special, but it's home," Akiko said calmly. She paused for a while and said nervously, "I...... um..... I'm sorry..... about running off.... then switching to my yami............ I got nervous," Akiko apologized- it was rude for her to do that.

"No! Not until you tell me the truth! Do you really hate me or are you just hidding!" he yelled at her, not letting her go. The thought still lingered in his mind, 'does she really just hate him?'
Akiko blushed and giggled, "Heh, we're kinda alike then I guess." Akiko wanted to ask him why, why he wanted to go out with her. But she was scared to so she just said, "I really liked the gameshop."
