Solis Rose [-9th-]Vlad Solis Rose [-9th-]Vlad *he reappears, blood slithering down his arm, leaving snakelike patterns on it as it drips down his fingertips, where he catches the droplets, protecting the book she was reading* Hey. How's the reading going? *She sits up* Blood! *holds it away from the book, the blood dripping down, splattering on the floor* I'm sorry... It's from my most recent errand, and it can only heal with time, it can't heal by magic, unfortunately. *Her eyes grow wide* What happened? *he's more pale than usual, having lost a large amount of blood* I had to end a war... by myself... *shakes his head* If they didn't give me strength... I'd never be able to do what I can. *his shoulders slump* Yet the Ancients don't deem it important to make sure I'm healed afterward, only enough so that I may live. *shakes his head* I'm sorry. I shouldn't distract you from your reading. How's that coming along? *an expression of pain flashes across his face, and his knees buckle, but he grabs onto a ledge, holding himself up, forcing a smile*

I... *closes his eyes* I love you, Rose... Still... I don't want to hurt you. Besides, I need more than just one person's blood to recover all that I have lost... And I couldn't drain your blood, Rose. *he moves his hand away, leaving his blood on her neck*

And I couldn't drain your blood, Rose. *he removes his hand, leaving his blood on her neck* Me and Dobby? *sigh* Well... you alone would be enough, but it would kill you, and I can't do that. Dobby doesn't have enough blood to make much of a difference... But... you would truly give his blood to me?

You just need to look with altered perceptions...

You just need to look with altered perceptions... *he blinks and laughs slightly* no no, The Phyrexian Library is bigger, by a lot believe me. I spent years assembling that place. Books are one of the few ture beauties in this mortal realm. Those genuis' that have written their ideas for others to take and use as they interperate.

[-9th-]Vlad *nods* I have always enjoyed books, in all of my long life. However, you just need to know where to look in this library. And not only that, but despite having read this entire library, at least of what you see, from cover to cover, I went through it a second time, and not a single book I had read the first time was there... Though as soon as I searched for a book I once read, it was exactly where I remembered it to be... There is a lot more to this library than you would think, good sir. *he smirked slightly* I know what you mean. I simply meant mine on Phyrexia was bigger by area and held more books. I've ruled my empire for longer than most men should be able to live and I've almost never read the same book in that place twice *he smiled slightly*
