He turns as the music he is listening too turns to loud, violent sounds. He senses the violence in the air that has contaminated his music. He blinks and creeps away to hide behind a sofa,his ears poking out slightly.

He looks into the eyes of his tormentor, his own glistening with tear. He backs away, a tear lazily making its way down his cheek.

He looks up again, biting his lip, blinking back tears. He slowly nods making his ears shake."y..yes mister..thank you" he gets to his feet, slowly wiping his eyes with a finger.
