Cloud caught the slash with her hand and spun it around shapping it into a disk. SHe launched it back at Ryo with a little bit of a chuckle.
"so the pyro's finally joined the game" she said "please step onto the board"
The fire attack was one that was easily recognizable. The last fire user had created that attack himself and used it in many battles. It seemed that cloud could use all the elements, or was it something worse?
She looked at Ryuu without much of a care. Landing she crossed her arms and waited for the next attack. It was so pointless for him to call out for her. The cloud he knew no longer existed. Throwing off her cloak her face was finally revealed. She was no longer human at all.
She had one bright red eye that looked like a marble of sorts and a black eye that didnt even appear to be there at all. Her face and head was nothing more than a white skull with vampire fangs.
ooc. think of it as a wraith kinda. Anna and Saku should wake up so they can see her

((Saku's awake! I just can't get on until Tuesdays and Thursdays! *cries*))
Saku's eyes widened considerably, and whatever breath she forced herself to draw in, left instantly.
"Oh my god..." She mouthed, for the words wouldn't come. She tried to stand up, to keep fighting, but the pain was fierce.
It's just pain....stand up...you can ignore it... She tried to tell herself, but the pain was too great, and Saku's body hardly responded. Cloud's face remained in her mind even when she shut her eyes in pain. She was like the grim reaper or something...worse...death itself.
Tears of fear, frustraion, anger, and pain slid down her face despite her protests.
Zelik stared at Cloud, dumbstruck.
"The king did this to you...." It wasn't a question, and Zelik's eyes swam with sadness.

He stepped side ways, barely avoiding the fire. His arm got hit.Ryuu's eyes widen. He stared at Cloud. The king... He clenched his fists. Ryuu wanted to yell, scream, do something. He couldn't belive the king would do this. Do this to Cloud. He growled loud.

Anna's body was bloody, bruised. The forest wouldn't let her soul back in until it was fully healed, because it knew she would just go vack to fighting and get herself killed. Her spirit watched in horror as Cloud revealed her new form, and she felt like something sacred had been defiled. She took a deep breath of anger, and wanted to scream. She glared at the disgusting creature's back, and then realized something.
"What the heck is TIP doing in there?" With an angry snarl, her spirit self marched over, reached into Cloud's back, and began attemting to yank out Tip. "Get out of there, you dumb, feathered lunatic! This THING your in isn't Cloud!"

There was a zap that struck her spirit as tip refused to leave. It was his cloud, he could feel it. They just couldnt sense the good that still lay hidden and burried beneath this mask.
Cloud turned and despite her being a spirit reached out and got ahold of her. THe red eye glowed menacingly and the boney hand swirled with a blackness that latched itself onto anna.
"Tip is staying with me" she said in her normal voice "he will die if he doesnt. Forget about him and worry about yourself"
Anna's spirit was thrown into her body.
ooc. so after im done fighting Ryo i can talk a little then take off hee hee. got a few plans left for when i've defeated you all

Saku reached out to grabb her dagger, but her recently broken then semi-healed shoulder flared up in firery pain. Her arm fell useless. Saku lost. She was bloody all over and she knew she had several broken bones from Cloud's almost superhuman blows. Her body hardly responded and when she pounded the ground with her good arm, pain jolted even then. There was no strength to move....no strength to fight...they were going to die....and Saku would never see her mother, or ever get to tell her how sorry she was....Her eyes clouded with tears again and her pride forced her to turn her head despite the agony.

Anna fell back into her body - and it exploded with blood, blood pouring from her wounds and her eyes opened wide, and then closed. She sunk deep deep into the darkness.
The trees slowly lowered her onto the ground be the roots of a huge tree. They slowly pulled her into the tree, the earth closing up where her body had lain. Jiyo flew into a knothole in the tree, chirping anxiously.

Kyo's sword flared up in flames. He raised it above his head and ran at Cloud. As he ran closer, he looked for a place were he could hit that would kill her. There had to be a weakness... Kyo then thought of something. Her back! Maybe that was were he could hit. He grinned as he ran full on as Cloud, knowing what he needed to do. His plan might not work, but he needed to try soomething.

Cloud stood still as Ryo charged at her. As he drew close to striking she drew her own sword and blocked the blow. They stayed locked that way for quite some time staring into eachothers eyes.
"are you afraid of what i've become" she asked him "do i frighten you"
She sneered and her fangs shone brightly in the light of his fire. They clashed swords time and time again until somehow Ryo managed to get behind her. He slashed her terribly in the back. Cloud let out an unhuman screech and dropped to the ground.
Her wings were badly damaged. In an instant she rolled to avoid another blow and then tip emerged in her hand. She tossed him up into the air to allow his escape which gave Ryo time to stab her clean in the chest. The now black fur ball zapped Ryo but he could do little to help. One look from cloud sent him on his way to the trees. His wings were pretty damaged so it took him a while.
Cloud pulled herself off the sword and more black blood spilled from her chest. When he came at her again for a killing blow she blocked it with her arm, his sword was unable to cut through the bone. She struck back at him cutting him across the face with her finger nails. Then kicked him backwards.

The trees hissed at Tip as he flew close. He reeked of the foulness of the king and they would have none of him. The sudden thorns that sprouted let him know that he would find no safe landing spot in the braches, and the glowing eyes along the bottom of the ground let him know that if he landed anywhere near them, he would be in serious risk of his life.
Traitor... they whispered angrily at him.

Cloud cast her hand that way and the thorns vanished from the lower branches. He was allowed safe haven there for now. The little ball sat near the ground pouting. His wings were so badly hurt that he was not sure if he would live. Shifting into his human illusion he watched the battle wishing that he could be with cloud once more.
An older tree near by offered him more safety than the younger ones. He lazily shifted there and stayed put. Only that tree would offer him help now. The others were back to shouting traitorous names at him.
"you do not understand" he whispered before closing his eyes
Cloud only looked to tip once before continueing her fight with Ryo. This would have to end soon or tip would die. He was not suppose to be seperated from her body for long. But when he had been injured by the sword and not her it made her change her mind quickly freeing him.

Anna lay in the earth, the heartbeat of the tree pulsing around her. Jiyo lay next to her, licking the blood off of her body. It was a slow job. She wanted to know where the Staff was, but she was too tired, too weak to even lift her head all the way up.
Geeze, I hope my clothes aren't all ripped up... I'll have to find some new ones before I get back... she sighed and hoped that the others were doing okay.

Saku finally managed to open her eyes again as she heard footsteps nearing. Zelik was running towards her. Oh man....was he going to give her the scolding of a lifetime...But something happened. He passed her, hurrying to Anna's side.
He pulled out a flask of water from his robes, formed the water around his hand and began to clean her wounds.
Saku stared, dumbstruck. Had that really just happened? She was completely useless...and now she was invisible? Was this a joke? Saku's cheeks flared red with anger both at Zelik, then Anna, and finally herself for getting mad.
She took a deep breath then grit her teeth and pushed herself into a seated position. God...her body ached so badly.
"Anna?" zelik muttered. as he cleaned her wounds the water turned slowly red.
"Can you still hear me?"

Anna heard someone... the voice sounded familiar. Oh, Zelik! That was it. She opened her mouth to try and say 'Yes,' but when she did, all that came out was a long moan of pain. And suddenly every single wound on her body seemed to throb with pain, and she couldn't help but start to cry.
"Ahhh... it hurts..." she wimpered. She gave a sharp hiss of pain as Zelik went over her wounds. "Damn, I'm gonna kiiillllll that b***h." She winced as Zelik went over a deep gash. She had forgotten to mention that she swore a lot when in pain.
"Dammit, do me a favor and knock me out. Please. P- YYYEEEEOOOOWWW!" Her eyes shot open and she saw Jiyo burying his head in one of her biggest cuts on her side.
She proceded to thourhgoly swear out the poor little dragon. It went somewhat along the lines of "Do you have any idea of the pain you are causing me; You freakish little flesh-eater; I knew it was only a matter of time until you turned on me; Get the hell away before I have to amputate ten pounds off my side from an infection." Except it was not so polite, and there were a lot more descriptive adjectives. Plus about... thiry four-letter words.
And then Jiyo pulled out a long, black shard from her side. Anna stared at it. "That... is nothing from the forest." If Jiyo had talked, he would have said something along the lines of "No, really?"

Zelik blinked then laughed as Anna yelled. It meant she was okay, and he was glad.
His eyes then trailed to the black shard, and with his free hand he took it from Jiyo's mouth and held it up to examine it, pausing momentarily in his wound cleaning.
"Peculiar..." He muttered and tucked it into the pouch at his side.
"hold still just a little longer. I've almost stopped the bleeding."
