He awoke on the couch and blinked, yawning.
Walking toward the dresser, he grabbed a few pieces of clothing, taking a shower.
He came out a few minutes later and brushed his hair, grabbing two pistols and placing them in holsters at his sides.
Places two scimitars just above the pistols.
Walks out the door and looks around, down the hall, then outside.
Walks toward the stairs and begins down them, a cloak in his hand.
He placed it around his shoulders as he got down a floor.
He heard a female voice as he passed a door and shrugged it off, pulling up the hood to his cloak and tightening his gloves.

"It would have happened at some point.. Luckily I now have something that puts me at an advantage against him." She sighed, leaning back on the bathroom door. "I only woke up this morning, otherwise I'd have called.. He said he was paying you a visit, so it was my priority to get back here from.. Wherever I was.."

He smiles slightly then writes "It's alright.. Don't worry. What matters is that you are safe." and hands the paper to her. He then remembers, he'd bought her something from Washington.. But where did he leave it? He walks over to his coat which is hung up beside the door and searches through the pockets. He eventually pulls out a box and walks back to her. He opens it and takes out the charm bracelet he bought for her, he then hands it to her.

Looking dumbfounded for a minute, she simply wraps her arms round him. Blinking away tears for another time that evening, she closes her eyes. "Knowing you were home would have been sufficient, you know.."

He smiles as he moves her arm and slips the bracelet onto her wrist, then wraps his arms around her. "I wanted.. To get it for you." He mumbles, his voice still croaky but slightly better.

Thankful to be in his arms, she smiled and kissed his cheek. "Thankyou.. And I want to say I love you. That night scared me.. I thought I wasnt going to see you again.." She laid her head on his chest, for once feeling relaxed. "But.. You gave me determination. Thankyou."

"I love you too... I really do." He smiles and kisses her forehead while stroking her hair. "..I nearly went insane... I thought I'd lost you forever..." His voice was starting to return to normal still croaky at times.

"If I could have called, I would have.. But I was out for the two days after what that bas-" She feels herself getting frustrated, and lets a breath out slowly. "I'm just happy to be with you again.. No matter if people think I'm dead, I guess.." Smiling slightly, she notices he's talking. ".. At least your talking.."

He uses his finger to lift her head up gently, he then leans forward and kisses her.

Smiling as she returns his kiss, she raises her hands over his shoulders, startled at how cold they were.

He pulls away and prods her nose gently. "Sorry... I couldn't bare the sight of my shirt, I knew you'd worn it before and it was making me.. All sentimental and stuff.. Is that the right word?" He smiles slightly, his voice was starting to sound less croaky.

"It sounds good, who cares?" She poked his bellybutton, in return. "It shouldnt be as cold with the window covered.. But since this place has its own climate, who knows."

He laughs slightly taking her hands in his own. "Atleast we have each other.. I was freezing last night you know." He winks playfully.

Laughing, she mockingly raises her eyebrows. "I have no idea what you mean! And it seems I owe you yet more compensation! Will I ever get out of your debt?" She grinned, before kissing him.

"I hope not" He grins as he lifts her up slowly, resting her over his shoulder. He then carries her into the bedroom, closing the door behind him as usual.
