Miki gave another smile and then stood up. She faced her brother and said “I will show you another one of my abilities.” Closing her eyes slowly, her blade started to glow brightly, a beautiful shade of blue. Something came out of the ice blade and formed a small ball of mass…that looked like some energy ball. It gathered itself, and went to Miki’s side. The mass started to take shape, looking taller and taller. Until then, detailed features formed. Until, it formed a young woman with long flowing gray hair, dressed in white. Her sharp blue eyes gazed upon the boy as the robes of her dress flowed smoothly. She was wearing white sandals, strapped around her ankles. She gave a mysterious smile and knelt on one knee before Kai. She spoke in a rather ladylike voice.
”Hiwatari Kai, my most humble greetings. I am Drizzard, the phoenix of Ice. For being my Mistress’s guardian and brother, I give you my sincerest thanks.”
Miki gave a soft giggle “Drizzard, you don’t have to be formal to Oniichan. You can stand up now”. Drizzard gave a nod and stood up. She was taller than Miki, and amazingly also than Kai! She was silent all the time as Miki spoke. “It is another one of my abilities, Oniichan. I can materialize any bitbeast spirit into human form. So you saw Drizzard in hers.” She reassured. She just hope her brother isn’t that shock about her ability.
This was...very new to him. Speaking bit beasts - he'd experienced that before - but a bit beast in human form... Kai had been expecting something less - for lack of a better term - shocking.
Drizzard's manner of speech wasn't so different from Dranzer's as he recalled. But if this 'phoenix of ice' looked as she did...what of Dranzer? Perhaps...he'd ask about it later... or maybe he wouldn't.
"So I did," the slate-haired teen said, tilting his head up slightly in order to look at Drizzard more closely - dammit, she was taller than he was! Glad was he of the privacy the training room afforded; not that he was a sexist, but Kai found it extremely awkward to have to look up at a girl. Yuriy, Bryan, and Spencer he could handle, but this -!
"...Pleased to have made your acquaintance...Drizzard," he said at last, speaking in the like - common courtesy, really. "Thank you for being her...companion of sorts while I was not around." He looked back at Miki, a sudden thought striking him.
"Miki..." he began slowly, "There's another reason why you decided to show me another of your abilities, isn't there?"

On the way back Maria then said, "Hey Keiji let's race" Maria said then after 5 seconds ran her long blonde hair flying along the wind.
"What that's not fair" he answered immediately running.
Maria then reached the same floor as Kai was and stopped for a glimpse with Keiji not there yet. Miki was sitting there cared for and she envied her a bit. Her own brother whom she left was also kind but was who disciplined her though their fathers was almost the same on the carelessness level where Maria blamed all her imperfectness to. Stupid , insensitive, selfish, deaf blind, ignorant, cold hearted, blabber mouth, useless, stingy, lazy and unsanitary were the only words she could describe him with. Though it was not as terrible as using them for world domination. A small smoke of darkness leaked out as she remembered him.
Boris was not an exception either as step father. Maria dreaded every man that would be like them.
Keiji then passed the corner running and Maria ran too reaching first as always.
"Why would I bother with these things your good at this stuff?"Keiji said catching his breath.
Maria ignored Keiji's partly annoyance and went straight to the strenght machine.

Miki gave a sheepish smile. She noticed a slight frown in her brother’s expression. She gave a pleading look to her bit beast beside her and Drizzard just gave a nod of understanding and glowed once more. She started to shrink in size until she was about the same height as Miki. Miki was around an inch shorter than Kai so it will suffice. Miki turned to answer her brother’s question. “Yes there is Big brother, well…earlier while we were still walking to get here, Drizzard asked me a favor that involves you actually…Well…Drizzard wants to talk to Dranzer.” Miki took another deep breath and continue “So I want to ask your permission to turn Dranzer into a human form.”
Well, that wasn't so...unreasonable a favor - and thank goodness Drizzard was now somewhat shorter than he; Kai didn't see a downside to granting Miki's (and her bitbeast's) request. Still, the slate-haired teen looked somewhat thoughtful as he replied, "I don't see why not, Miki, so... go ahead."

Yes! Kei thought, catching her blade as it flew out of the stadium. Glancing at the smaller monitor, the brunette saw that she had 2 matches in her favor. She also noticed, though, that the more blades she defeated, the more difficult it was to win the following match.
Especially since she was supposed to use only defense to win.
This is harder than I thought...

Miki gave a happy smile and looked at Drizzard, who in turn just gave a nod. Miki then asked “Oniichan can I borrow Dranzer’s blade for the moment?”.

Diana, who was still hanging upside down, noticed everything and chuckled at Kai’s rather…shocked…expression and almost lost her hold to the ceiling. She decided it might be rather, more comfortable to come down and jumped towards the railing of a viewing box and jumped safely down. Thank goodness for her 3rd ability or else she would have been killed already.

Again, Kai arched an eyebrow questioningly - he seemed to be doing that a lot lately - but said nothing as he took out his trusty Dranzer MS and handed it over.
The sounds of a beybattle caught his attention, though, and he remembered Kei. "Hang on, I have to check on Hiyomura..." the crimson-eyed teen said by way of excuse, even as he turned on his heel and strode quickly over to the training machine he'd instructed the brunette to use.
A glance at the scoreboard told him that the newest Blitzkrieg Boys member would need more training - it was a dead-even split between her and the machine - if she wanted to improve her defense capabilities.
"So, Hiyomura, having a hard time, aren't we?"
Kei blanched for a moment when Kai's voice suddenly sounded in her ear, and she almost whirled around to slap him for sneaking up on her. But she managed to restrain herself and instead, replied as calmly as she could.
"A little, yes, but it's nothing I can't handle, really."
Kai smirked. This girl was proving herself to be an interesting teammate and trainee, if nothing else. It was a good thing, too, that she seemed to know her boundaries and hadn't yet overstepped them.
"Well, five more minutes on this one, and then you'll move on to the endurance-defense machine over there." Vaguely, Kai indicated a similar machine to the one Kei was using at the moment, but on the other side of the training room."
Kei nodded, her gaze fixed once more on the stadium in front of her.
Having taken care of that, Kai went back to where Miki and Drizzard - it still felt a bit strange, seeing a bitbeast in human form - were waiting. He had to admit, he was curious now about how Dranzer looked in his human form.

Focusing her energy once more, Miki started once again to glow but this time, a fierce red color. The blue blade she held on her hand glowed a deeper shade of red and a similar mass of energy came out but red in color. The red ball grew and went to her left side and started to take shape. It was spreading itself until the detailed features finally worked on it self. Once the bright red light was done, a young man with fiery, short red hair stood tall. His crimson eyes were piercing, almost similar to the blunette girl’s bitbeast standing near her. But there was a difference.
The main thing was his clothes which were entirely colored red. A long red scarf wrapped his mouth and nose all the way to his back, while Drizzard wore a white scarf not covering her face. Sleeveless top, slightly fitted pant, and boots were his attire. But one thing was that he and Drizzard had…gauntlets on. Drizzard’s were blue while his was red. Fire seemed to emit from his back, regardless since he was a phoenix of fire. Miki gave a smile and looked towards her brother who was just getting back from checking Kei.

Diana was now surprised. “This is Hiwatari’s bit beast?” she muttered to herself and examined the two human forms. A girl and a boy and they had blue and red. Diana suddenly realized something “Masaka…” she thought to herself. “Don’t tell me…that they..are..” Rather than continuing, Diana just gave a smirk. “Those two…are something else”. She decided to walk the rest of the way down to the ground, she wanted to take her sweet time and couldn’t help giving a small laugh at her sudden realization earlier.

It was just as the red light to Miki's left finished forming that Kai got back. He stopped short, several feet away, his face blank.
That is... Dranzer? He thought, a bit taken aback. Of course, that red was the main color and that fire was emitting from the young man's back didn't faze him - in fact, the flames kind of looked like wings, in his opinion. He was just really surprised to see his faithful bitbeast in human form. He resumed walking and soon stood in front of the trio - Drizzard, Miki, and apparently, Dranzer.
"Greetings, Kai. It's an honor to finally see you face-to-face," the redhead said, his deep but slightly melodious voice muffled by the scarf he wore about his neck and lower face.
"Likewise, Dranzer," Kai replied. He was somewhat used to talking with his bitbeast, if only through the bond they shared; he supposed it was the same once the bitbeast manifested itself in the physical plane, only - as expected - more audible to others as well.

Miki gave a smile and motioned Drizzard to step forward. The blue phoenix hesitantly stepped forward. Miki gave a whisper to the phoenix “You can do it” and smiled. Drizzard just gave a nod and stepped closer, finally at around a foot away from Dranzer, she spoke
“It has been a rather long time since we spoke to each other...Brother
Miki decided to step in and explain “Drizzard and Dranzer are the same as us Big brother, twins. But they are of the same age. I managed to talk to her about her origin and she was born at the artic regions of the north while Dranzer at the South. That is the reason why she has ice powers actually.”
Now Kai was surprised; this was not what he had been expecting. He caught himself just in time though, and managed to reply with a barely audible "I see."
Twin bitbeasts?! This was definitely something new. And all this time... the crimson-eyed blader shifted his gaze from Miki to Dranzer, who looked slightly taken aback, if the slightly wider eyes were any indication. The red-garbed male took a tentative step forward, arms raised only a little as though about to reach out to the white-garbed female in front of him, yet hesitating.
"...Drizzard, is it truly...?" Disbelief. "Yes... yes it has been too long."
Kai watched the two bitbeasts in human form, slightly amused. Dranzer had never shown hesitation before now; had the mere sight of his sister caused that? The slate-haired blader reflected on his own situation and found it to be quite similar. Yes, he supposed such an occurence would have such an impact.
Suddenly, he smirked, then reached out to ruffle the head of blue hair in front of him. "Is there anything else you're keeping from me, Miki?" he asked, half-teasing. True, he'd told her that he didn't care how long it took for her to reveal her secrets to him, as long as she told him in the end; but if this was going to be day for surprises and such, he figured it would be best for his twin to let it out rather than surprising him again and again.

As she defeated her - what was it now? - sixth 'opponent' in a row, Kei felt a sudden tug inside her. She'd felt the same back in the park when she first met Maria, when the blonde had released her bitbeast self. Had one been released close by?
She turned away from the stadium - she was done for that exercise, anyway - and saw that Kai and Miki had been joined by two other people, again one male and one female - who were dressed in strikingly opposite outfits. The girl was all in white and pale blue and had gray hair, while the guy beside her - rather, in front of her had red hair and was garbed all in red.
Both had aura signatures, however, denoting bitbeasts; as part-bitbeast - there was no other way to describe her situation, in her opinion - she could always tell when other bit beasts were around, but couldn't pinpoint who they were and who wielded them.
Seeing, though, as Kai and Miki were the only ones she could see in the room who had bitbeasts, the brunette thought it was safe to assume that the two others - it seemed to her that they'd just had a reunion of sorts - were Dranzer and - unless her memory failed her - Drizzard, in...
Human form? Understandably, the amethyst-eyed teen had questions, foremost being, of course, what Kai's and Miki's bitbeasts were doing out of their blades, as humans, no less.
But then, it wasn't really her business; at the moment, she had training to attend to. And so, she retrieved her blade and, as unintrusively as possible, made her way to the other side of the training room to that other machine Kai had pointed out to her minutes ago.

Drizzard who was apparently was still silent took off her left gauntlet, and showed her lower arm to the red eyed fire phoenix. It was a tattoo of a small blue and icy flame. Her expression was strong as steel but her pale blue eyes shown longing and care.
”Do you still have this with you?”
Miki was busy admiring the view of two bit beasts finally being together. But the moment was ruined until her brother ruffled her head again and popped another question. She pushed her brother’s slightly larger hand away “Nyah!” she half-snarled. Her puffed cheeks showed total irritation. Her brother may be sweet but he never failed to know what irritates her the most.
She turned to answer but the frown on her face wasn’t removed “Well, I have other abilities. You know already the identification of soul-bearers, the spirit materialization as well. The others are Transfer and Preservation of Spirits and Possession. The last one I still can’t tell because it is my most powerful ability.” She almost whispered the last sentence. Truth was that it was her most life-threatening ability. She never once tried it before so no one knew, not even her Grandfather nor Boris. Her attention turned again to their 2 bit beasts who were still locked in a situation of there own.
If Kai was surprised at Miki's sudden change in attitude, he didn't show it. If anything, he found it a refreshing change from her usual demeanor. Not to say, of course, that he disliked that part of her; it was just...nice to see her acting as just did.
"Hn...I see." he replied, following his twin's gaze towards the two bitbeasts-turned-human. Drizzard was showing Dranzer something on her forearm - a tattoo? Now what implications could that have?
Silently, Dranzer followed suit and removed the guantlet on his right arm, and held it up. There, standing out against his rather pale skin, was a tattoo similar in size and form to that of Drizzard's, only it was red and yellow, like the flames that seemed to sprout like wings from his back. He knew he needn't speak; the visual proof was enough.

Maria noticed her bare hand with her scar slightly faded that Kai had inflicted. She then remembered that she forgot to put on gloves. From her pocket was a pair of brand new finger bared red gloves.
She then faced the machine again and looked at her score compared to the top score that Takao Kinomiya made during his last visit and it was her goal as it may be similar to Kai's. At the signal of shear will she went to her blade automatic and gave a higher score, but it was still not enough.

Drizzard gave a soft smile and returned her blue gauntlet back on. She brushed a lock of hair from her piercing gaze as she peered towards her bit beast brother.
“You took great care of it. For that I am glad.”
Taking off her gaze from the red haired phoenix, she eyed her gauntlets then stared at Kai. Smirking, she eyed Dranzer and spoke once more.
“I never really thought that you will befall to the hands of a World Championed Blader. But I am proud to be working by my Mistress as she is the sister of your young master.”
Drizzard suddenly peered her gaze at Kai and eyed him, examining him slowly. A satisfied smile enveloped her features and went back to Dranzer. Then she did a surprising thing. She raised her left hand and pointed at the red garbed man before her and spoke in a rather, even more serious tone.
“Dranzer, phoenix of fire…” a pause, then, “If my Mistress will grant this request, I, Drizzard, the phoenix of ice, wish to be engaged with you in battle. If my Mistress wont allow it now then in the near future. For long have I wished to face you, brother, for we both have been born at the opposite sides of the Earth. So if I may, I plead to you Mistress…to grant me this request”. Then blue icy flame started to emit from her back, and it spread to look like wings. Her pale blue eyes sharpened to a crystal blue color, her gaze still locked the crimson eyes of the male before her.
Miki was slightly taken back at Drizzard’s request. It will mean…she will be fighting..her own twin brother

“Now this is interesting” Diana smirked as she balanced her sit on the railings. She was still on top of the viewing deck observing from above. She liked to see Miki battling Hiwatari. But thought better of it and decided to finally interfere. Her jump made a slightly noisy thud, making her presence more obvious.
Stepping forward, she shouted but not in a too loud tone “I refuse to let Miki battle Hiwatari. Don’t you forget that she is still exhausted from the battle with Hiyomura. You can’t tire her with another battle, let alone with an opponent like Kai.”
Drizzard looked back at a dark haired girl and recognized her immediately.
“I see, forgive me for stating such a request. I wasn’t thinking. Mistress, forgive me,”
Miki gave a sigh of relief and turned to thank Diana who nodded back and looked at her brother. Her eyes showed fear of facing him for she didn’t want to fight her brother. She will fight anyone, but never will she if her opponent was her own older twin brother.
Kai wasn't surprised when Diana suddenly made her appearance. He'd known, of course, that she had been watching all along.
Though he said nothing, glad he was of the girl's intervention of sorts. He knew that Miki was still quite tired - she hadn't even been sitting for five minutes - and to have her battle him... well, it wasn't really a good idea for her health.
For a moment, Dranzer was at a loss for what to say in reply to his sister's challenge. Fortune seemed to smile upon him, though, for - regardless of his acceptance of the challenge, or lack thereof - he was saved from replying by a dark-haired, hard-eyed young woman... whom Drizzard seeemed to know, and called 'Mistress'. This intrigued him, and he leaned over slightly so - hopefully - only the ice phoenix would hear him.
"Sister, do you know this person?"

Kei had just finished calibrating the other machine - having spent quite some time trying to figure out how to calibrate it - so that it would help her work on the abilities Kai had specified. Now it would launch one blade every thirty seconds, and the brunette knew she'd have to try her best to defeat all of them.
Suddenly, she thought she heard someone call her, so she turned around. Standing just a few feet away from Kai, Miki, and their respective bitbeasts was Miki's companion from the night before, the one who'd challenged Kei and accused her of being after the blue-haired girl.
How long has she been watching us, I wonder... the purple-eyed blader thought vaguely, before turning back to her training. She wanted to finish this quickly, because she didn't think she could hold her own much longer... but of course she wasn't about to let anyone know that. Not when she had her place on the Blitzkrieg Boys at stake - and by her 'place', it was how valuable she'd be to the team come the tournament. She wanted to do her part and prove herself a capable blader, rather than weighing the entire team down with her [hopefully non-existent] incompetence.
In order to do that, though, she had to train, which of course she was doing. Kei glanced at the countdown monitor, and readied herself to launch.

As Maria took a second break she saw the time and was surprised. Time had passed on so much unlike yesterday when a lot had happened.
'Oh yeah I still have that unfinished battle with Kei and Kai, but I am sure that Kai will win and seeing Kei's power I may have lost or have a draw.'She though recollecting the day before.
Instead of battling Kei her first battle was with Kei against the 3 other bladers. Meeting Kai and training with the BBA team meeting Miki and Diana, then met with Keiji again. Battling Kai and being a spy as a triple crosser and now they were just waiting for the tournament to start.
Keiji became suspsious Maria was being different.

Drizzard gave a look to Diana and answered just as quietly “She is the companion of my Mistress. She had been the first human who saw me in my human form. Her name is Diana Murphy.” Drizzard looked at her phoenix brother and whispered silently “I warn you brother, she is the keeper of a powerful beast. The one they call Akurei”
At the name 'Akurei', Dranzer blinked, his striking crimson eyes widening slightly behind his floppy bangs. "This...Diana Murphy is his keeper?"
He straightened up afterwards; he didn't need to wait for confirmation. After all, he'd never known his sister to lie to him about such matters. Besides, whispering in another's presence was rude, particularly if you were talking about that person. At least he hadn't done it for long.
Diana walked over to Miki and Kai and said “Miki, you should be resting right now. You know that attack has taken almost 70% of your energy and you got a measly 30 left. Take a break and sit down ok” She commanded her slightly younger best friend. Miki gave a nod of understanding and faced her brother. “Is it ok if I leave Dranzer and Drizzard to you Oniichan?” she replied in a rather very visibly tired voice.
"Go ahead and rest," Kai said, nodding in assent. He was a bit perplexed that Miki would listen to Diana and not to him; he'd told her to rest earlier and she'd only sat down for a few minutes, then jumped up after a while to 'materialize' Dranzer and Drizzard. In any case, he didn't show this. Instead, he glanced at the two bitbeasts and then at the other end of the room, towards Kei, intimating that he would check on the girl and they could follow if they wished.
Dranzer, seeing this, shook his head slightly, indicating that he'd wait there. However, if Drizzard followed, he'd be sure to follow as well.
Kai nodded in understanding, and then walked over to the training machine Kei was using. Not surprisingly, the blue black-haired teen was seated at a nearby bench, head bent, leaning with her forearms on her thighs, and her blade clutched loosely in one hand, the launcher in the other.
"So," he began, by way of greeting. "Tired yourself out, didn't you Hiyomura?"
Kei barely glanced up, looking up at the slate-haired teen from below her bangs. "I'm fine, Kai-san; if I got tired, it was from waiting for you to watch me."
The crimson-eyed teen quickly surveyed the dish in front of the machine. Four beyblades defeated. Not bad, but not excellent either; still, it was a start. He turned back to the girl in front of him.
"At least I know I can leave you alone and you'll still do what you're supposed to do instead of slacking off."
Kei grinned. "Yeah? Well, that's good to know." She stood up suddenly, stretching the kinks out of her back. "Anyway, I could use a snack. Want anything?" she asked. "And where'd Miki go?"
"She's resting, Hiyomura, and no, I don't want anything." This time, Kai was seated on the bench, arms crossed over his chest once more.
The brunette cocked an eyebrow, the blade in her hand replaced with a small wallet. "You sure?" she prompted. When a few more minutes passed and she recieved no reply, she shrugged and half-jogged over to the door of the training room, pushing it open to let herself out, her foodsteps fading down the hall.

Miki gave a grateful smile to back to her brother and turned to walk but suddenly decided to do something before she took another step. She walked up to Kai and gave him a soft embrace. She felt happy her brother was understanding to her and he was worried for her. When they were still small, he rarely shows it. But now he didn’t even mind. Tightening slightly, she released her grip and slowly walked to lean against the wall. She was really tired. Her eyes softly drooped and finally let sleep take over her, making her head tilt slightly to the side.
Drizzard saw her tired—scratch that—sleeping mistress leaning against the bench next to the wall and quickly made it as her cue. She took off the long white scarf from her neck and gently draped it over the sleeping girl. Brushing a lock of hair softly from her face, she smiled as Miki rested peacefully. She was happy as long as she was safe. Drizzard owed her life to Miki. She was a very kind girl, always being with her whenever she had problems. When she was still a young girl, she will caress her blade and whisper what happened. It was like having a diary that can speak to you.
For 8 or so years have past when she saw her slept this peaceful and safe. She was thankful for Kai. He brought back to the happiness she thought she has lost. She went back to her waiting brother, who might have watched her actions. She gave another look back at the sleeping girl and smiled. But when she turned to the red phoenix before her, her expression went cold as ice.
“I already told you about Akurei, brother. I want you to watch your back with your young master. You know whoever wields his spirit will have abilities and complete control of his power. Diana Murphy also happens…to be…Kurai” Drizzard still wasn’t finished and spoke before her brother could react.
“And my mistress…Miki Hiwatari…is Aiwa.”
At this revelation, Dranzer blinked involuntarily. The two names he never thought he'd hear...the two associated with the Great Sealing centuries ago. Had they truly-?
He recovered himself in a moment, his face returning to its usual stoic stare. "Don't worry; I've not forgotten what you've told you. And Kai can take care of himself just fine, but I will keep a closer watch on him..."

Diana looked back at Miki who was sleeping and back to Kai. She walked over to him and spoke “I know you sound disturbed why Miki didn’t listen to you. I can read minds after all. Sorry if I did but I had to. If you want to know the whole truth about Miki and me…we could talk either now…or whenever you decide.”
Diana gently lowered her head and continued “I know I shouldn’t tell you since Miki didn’t want to worry you but I believe, as her brother and only guardian…you deserve to know everything.”
Diana took out a small scarf and tied it around her head to sweep her bangs in place, leaving only two small ones behind. She was wearing a white tank top with a leather black jacket and dark jeans. Blood red fingerless gloves and red sneakers completed the attire. Good thing she managed to change before coming to the BBA office since her clothes last night were irritating.
Putting one hand on her hip, she spoke out again “So…what’s your answer?”
When Miki had given him the hug, needless to say, Kai was surprised, and it must be said that he'd stiffened a bit. He'd relaxed soon enough, however. That was when he went back to check on Kei - before the brunette ran off to buy a snack, of course - after which he'd sat on the newly-vacated bench.
When Diana spoke, the crimson-eyed teen glanced at her from under his bangs - what his trainee had done with him earlier - his arms still crossed over his chest as he leaned against the wall behind him. "If you've got something to say, Murphy, go ahead," he replied, shutting his eyes. "I'll listen, but that doesn't mean I'll believe you right off the bat."
Though he was less sceptical about various "esoteric" subjects - as he'd seen some happenenings that definitely fell under that category - the slate-haired blader didn't like immediately giving credence to everything he heard, hence his announcement. He waited now for the brunette in front of him to speak.

Keiji got back his blade and saw Maria also finished.
"Hey care for a different kind of battle. Have you been studying at school "Keiji said he said as he went to the spacious part of the room and went to a Taekwondo stance.
Maria then kept her blade and launcher.
"Which one? The only time that were at school is if it applies on the mission else we would be training or home schooled. I'm thinking of going into kendo."
she said with her right arm forward at her middle both her hand and elbow. at her center. Her left hand was aligned with her right elbow. Both hands was almost flat open palm.
She then feet and knees were pointing to her center with her knees slightly bent.
"You cannot beat me when I use this art."she said confident in one of the old arts she had been using.
'Though even with this I might not beat Diana' she thought to herself seeing that Keiji did not even get a scratch on her and her having the ability to control blood.

Diana gave a soft sigh as she cursed in her mind. Sometimes Kai never failed to anger her with his stupid pride. She decided to go beside his side and lean on to the wall and finally spoke her story.
Diana looked up and said, “You know the Saint Shields right? Ozuma and his gang? Well, his story of trying to seal your bit beasts is somewhat connected to me and Miki’s story. It was around centuries ago, it was paradise on Earth and everything was in place. People worshipped spirits as the form of their gods and they helped the people willingly. Then there were 4 beasts that were the most powerful of all. They were the ultimate guardians: Seiryu of the North, Byakko of the West, Genbu of the East and Suzaku of the South. Until they started to create chaos and turmoil to the land. The people fled in fear of their power. It was said that some sealed those spirits. It was actually only two who sealed the four. Their names were Kurai and Aiwa.
“Kurai and Aiwa were the two highest priestess of the people. Kurai meaning 'tainted and darken' and Aiwa meaning 'pure and enlighten'. Both were different like night and day, but were as close as sisters. Aiwa had the power to heal, love and create happiness while Kurai had the power to destroy, capture and torture.
"When the 4 beasts ran amok, they used all their power to seal them in 4 stones but it resulted with the cause of both their lives. It will say in the prophecy that once the 4 beasts will reassemble once again, the spirits of the two sealers will come one day in a different mind and body and will watch over them. But for a price. They will be vulnerable making them easy to be capture and be forced to be used.”
Diana finally looked away, almost ashamed of showing weakness. “THAT’s why Miki is in danger. Boris wants the soul bearers to attract me and Miki to him. Because…me and Miki….are the reincarnations of Kurai and Aiwa.”
At the last sentence, Kai opened his eyes in order to look at Diana more closely; he could usually tell if a person was being serious by their faces. Yes, she looked to be telling the truth. Especially since the brunette had thrown in that bit about Ozma and his friends. And of course there was that story about - what did Dranzer call it that one time? - the 'Great Sealing'; it tied in perfectly with the version they'd heard from Ozma... well, minus the high priestesses Aiwa and Kurai.
"...that clears up some things," the phoenix blader finally commented. He wasn't one to believe in fate, but knowing that he was the one chosen to weild Dranzer - Suzaku of the South, he knew - and then becoming teammates with three others who owned similarly somewhat special bitbeasts and thus fulfilling the part of Aiwa's and Kurai's prophecy...
He mentally shook his head. At the rate things were going, it mightn't be long before he started saying things were destined to be or something else along those lines.
Another thing had struck him about Diana's story: Boris. He grit his teeth, biting back a snarl of disgust and anger. It seemed that no matter how hard he tried, no matter where he went, he just had to turn a corner and he'd encounter that hateful, power-hungry fake abbot.

Drizzard gave a nod and looked over at Diana and Kai. They seem to be engaged in their own matters. She looked at her brother and back at Kai and gave a smirk.
“I know you won’t let your guard down. You never do. But of course, I am often curious of seeing Akurei’s form. But I know better than to fight him. Brother, since it has been such a long…make it…a very long time…how have you been all this years. If I may ask, how were your past battles? I remember your master’s grandfather extracted something from you to make something. I wish to know what it was”.
Dranzer smirked at his twin's choice of words. "I believe Voltaire is your mistress's grandfather, as well. But yes, he had something extracted from me. As for what those madmen created from it... it was unpleasant. A darker form of myself, if you must know." The flame-wings at his back quivered with anger at the memory of finding out he'd been cloned, and half-remembered rejection. It was a good thing Kai had taken him back; only the slate-haired blader would do as a master, no one else.
"As for past battles, you don't win them all. There were some especially tough matches, but Kai and I survived." The fire phoenix could have chosen some other way to word his reply, but he thought 'survived' would have been more fitting, considering his and Kai's last match in the BEGA Justice Five tournament. Zeus... formidable, yes, but, from what he'd heard of Akurei... the chimaera certainly paled in comparison now.

Drizzard frowned at her phoenix brother’s sentence of a darker entity of his being. All this time…and to think all she ever did was float around inside a piece of rock! She softly growled but then decided not to mention the presence of the black spirit to him. It was giving a rather…awkward situation to both of them, rendering them the ability to speak about the matter. She looked once more at Diana and Kai, noticing that the young two-toned boy finally was enlightened with the story. She looked at her brother, giving a look indicating the matter.
Giving a sigh of boredom…until she decided to peek at his master’s memories...and blinked. She looked at her brother and gave a frown. She spoke “I know that the young Hiwatari looks…nice but I never thought he would have a stalker…” Finding out that her mistress got kidnapped by a bodyguard who has feelings for her brother’s master….was rather a very disturbing thing.
Dranzer sighed inaudibly when reminded of that incident. "Unfortunately..." he commented, following his sister's gaze towards where his slate-haired partner - they were more like partners than master and bitbeast, really - was seated, more or less conversing with Akurei's keeper.

Diana was slightly taken back by Kai’s response. Well, take it from a man of few words. She sighed softly and started to twiddle with her feet. Her red eyes softly peering down, watching her feet play with each other. She then decided to think of something else before it turned into something like those awkward silent “romance” scenes. She shuddered mentally at the thought.
She looked back at Kai and suddenly blurted out, “He,y Hiwatari…is it ok if I battle with you instead? Since obviously Miki can’t since she is asleep right now. Although awhile ago it was tempting to see your butt kicked by your sister since she obviously had a lot of tricks up her sleeve.” She smirked at her last sentence. She often liked it when Kai gets irritated. Plus it was rather fun to tease him. Considering why he cant seem to stop teasing Miki sometimes why not tease him too?
Kai smirked back. He'd seen a bit of Diana's playing style the night before; it wasn't much to go on, but at least he had an inkling of it. Plus, battling her would prove rather interesting.
"Fine, Murphy; you're on."

Kei hastily made her way back to the BBA HQ, clutching the small plastic bag tightly so none of the items would fall out. She'd gone to the nearest convenience store to get a snack and some drinks for all of them, but the line at the check-out had been unbelievably long. Hence, her haste in getting back; she didn't know if Kai wanted her to do something else, but she knew how the fiery blader was about tardiness and minor offenses of a similar nature.
She pushed through the doors of the side entrance and hurried down the corridor towards the training room. She stumbled at some point, still weak from her earlier training and her match with Miki, but she ignored it and kept going.
