Kalios looked up from his sleep. What happened? he asked Sora. When he heard the discussion, he almost jumped. WHAT? he shouted to Sora, and started piling him energy to add to the barriers of protection, all the while muttering curses at Sora for endangering their existence.

Sora was going to laugh any minute now. But there wasn't time for that. With a straight face, he poked Kalco again, pretending to ignore the Red Magick gathering. "I said, you couldn't lift my pinky, pipsqueak." Oh yes. The Magick was going to overflow and hit him. He placed one last barrier, and then stepped back, holding his arms to the side. "What are you going to do, hit me?" he asked, a sneer on his face.

Sora's expression didn't change. He stared as the barriers broke, and only the one right on his skin sustained. As the fist came, he knew it wouldn't be enough. He kept the barrier, though, for as long as possible, and when the blow came, was propelled to the trees behind him, barely sustaining conciousness. "So," he said, trying to look unhurt, even though the fist left a bruise that was tinged with the Magick, along with droplets of blood running down his face. He stood up, and struggled to walk towards him, his arm extended. "Then it is my honor. To witness the Red Magick."

Terra looked on at Sora in a hurt way. Her face had erupted in pain when Sora was hit, but she was too proud to howl in pain.

Kalios felt the same pain as Sora did when the fist hit. He let the feeling stay within him, and felt the drain of energy. As he had been so nervous for his own sake, he had given so much of his energy to Sora, that he fainted on the spot.

Kalco stared at his fist as the last of the red aura trickled away. What had just happened? "Woah.." But now he was frozen."I....I didn't know. It just came out of me. I've never noticed this before..."

((well, I, for certain, know 'where' she is... so I ain't askin'! xd ))

"No way! And besides, it's not even sure if Minae has the power as well!" she screamed out, mostly pleaing as she didn't want to be put in rank with seemingly new-borns...
"Don't have it, do I?" Minae replied, rather ticked off at the preceding statement.
"Well, in that case, how would you explain this phenomena?"
She a quiet grunt, she clenched her fists at her sides,her hair floating to an invisible breeze.
It wasn't long before a ring a of green burst from around her feet, momentarily blinding the others.
When the light dissipated, it was like she was ingulfed in green fire, her eyes glowing and her hair floating about as if it was alive.
"What about it now, eh?!"

Sora stood up a bit straighter, a bit miffed at how everyone was ignoring him. He absently mindedly waved a hand over his face and whispered "Waise Heill." The bruise cleared up, as nearby plants died as he salvaged their energy. "So then," he said, "When do we resume our journey?" he asked, while Kalios remained in his fatigue-induced faint.

May sighed and ran her hand alongher face, as if he was asking stupid questions.
"Have we not made it clear enough yet? We've both told you, Alianae and I, that you had to live out a certain emotion to unleash the Red Magick... You really DO have a short attention span..."
Minae smiled and nodded; even though her eyes were closed, green still shimere through her eyelids.
"Quite right, my dear friend, quite right!"

"Come on! Any elf with the proper training or any knowledge of any magick should at LEAST be able to recognise the oh-so obvious signs that are announcing it's appearance!"
She smiled and sighed as well, keeping the faint grin on her face.
"Frankly, all he had to do was take the blow as best he could, really"
