Kibo: But I'm not ignorant enough to tell a person that their opinion is downright wrong. Besides, I'm too indecisive for that. I'll probably change my mind about him before I die, and even do it again. So I'm not about to tell you your opinion is wrong to you.

"But you just did." "I heard the words 'your opinion is wrong,' didn't you?" "Yepyep." "That is not very nice, mister." "Not very nice at all."
Instead of their normal joval faces, Zia and Maida had an air of hurt around them and it even looked as if Maida would burst into tears.

Kibo holds out a finger in front of Maida's face.
Kibo: Don't you cry. Both of you, grow up. Words are words, and they're nothing but. Just get over yourselves.

"But words hurt," "Mu-much more then sticks," "Or stones." "And w-we are only little girls." "We can't grow up."

Kibo: Don't pull the "we're little girls" card. You and I both know damn well that you're not actually 12-year-olds.

Zia and Maida laughed.
"We only said we were little girls," "And that we could not grow up." "Not that we were twelve year-olds." "Very different things, mister Kibo." "Oh so veryvery different."

Kibo: Then would you mind leaving me alone? There's a bag of jellybeans in it for you if you go away for a few hours.

Zia and Maiada hide their glee carfully.
"How big a bag?" "Are there any black ones in it?" "How many hours?" "And why?" "Yes, why do you want us gone?"
Once more, the air of hurt drapes over the two girls.

Kibo: The size of a large goat, yes, 3, and you've been quite expertly keeping me from a peaceful sleep since you first clicked your boots against the floorboards of this ship.

"Barefoot."
Zia and Maida both held up a leg to proudly display a dirt-caked foot.
"Besides, Storm tells us that you," "Don't really sleep anyway." "Something to do with Charon turning you on?"
They both peered at the ring on Kibo's hand.
"I didn't know he was into that kind of thing." "Zia, we've been over this, many a time-" "Don't you dare start that again! I'll shove a black jelly bean down your throat!"

Kibo: Fine, if you don't want the jellybeans.
He pulls out a sack, and turns it over, emptying the contents. As each of the multi-colored jellybeans hits the deck, it explodes with a small "pop!", disappearing.

He points to a sack, identical to the one he had just overturned, behind their feet.

Zia and Maida turned and made a grab for it, only to have their feret run off with the bag just before they clasp the bag.
"No!" "Come back with that!"

Kibo chuckles as they chase after Adoni, waiting for them to come back after finding out that the bag was filled with small rocks. He pulled out yet another bag, and tosses it right in front of the door.
