Karasu~Lady Raven~
Silabus Whitelight
Pitt and Shin giggled as if some inside joke was occurring. Pitt spoke. "Elven magic will do more than just that plus if we need more we will use it so please just lead the way".

stare "What gives you the right?" Karasu clenched her fists and strained against her anger, the wind suddenly picking up around the party on the cliff.

"The wind will not be commanded! Nor will I, Never AGAIN!" scream The elemental struck out at the elves with a hurricane force wind sheer. The dwarves would be lucky if they felt a slight breeze that was how focused the attack was.

They had all made a big mistake by ignoring what she had said, if the lot of them had been paying attention they would have known that they faced an ancient elemental force, only masquerading as a physical being... Karasu had introduced herself as The West Wind, and that was exactly what she was only now she was also angry!!

Karasu turned and misted away again, she had spent too long away from Hugin and needed to regain her control.

((*fixes your spelling errors while she is at it* sweatdrop sorry))

Pitt and Shin nodded then spoke in Elven language. "Vila aug vilamendio windos micao slince bairioria"!!!! Just when the wind was going them is suddenly went up into the stratosphere.

Pitt had an annoyied look on his face. "That was the rudest thing to do after we offer to help then she tells us that trying to help it wrong. So what is the point in asking?!!!!!" Pitt's face was red with rage while Shin patted his shoulder and smiled at him. "Plese Pitt don't get so worked up about that. Our goal is to set up a Smithery for the Dwarves somewere on these Mountains. But to do that we must not waste any energy with gruges as small as that". An evil smile went across Pitt's face. "Plus there is a good chance we can meet her agin. Then if we play our leaves right we may be able to get revenge still". Shin flew into the air. "Ok dwarves lets get back to work". "Aye!!!!!!!!!!!" All the dwarves replied in a roar. Pitt sat on the ground panting with tiredness. "Gosh we got lucky that time. I can't beleve we let her do that so suddenly. Shin nodded in agreement. "Well we can do the same thing it would just take us abit longer". Pitt shied. "Well I guess we can't be perfect at everything.

((Ok sorry about that my internet was not working right. Also what is a twik?))

((Okay, I have been watching this little exchange, and have been amused. But this is where I draw the line...

A hurricane force wind is considered a whole gale, travelling at a speed of approximately 65 knots (75 mph). Considering how long-winded that little spell is and how short of a time Karasu needs to build up that amount of power (seeing as she is a force of nature with a physical form rather than a human being), your two characters would get swept away with such force that they'd smash against any sort of rock formation that happened to be behind them.

Now, you could post that your two characters got lucky and didn't get hurt on their way down; I don't want to see them dead before their time comes. All I ask is that you change your post to account for physics, or I will be forced to assume that you are a twink.))

Hugin the Raven
For a moment, Evan looked up, catching Hakan's troubled gaze. His expression turned from warm and inviting to an unreadable stone wall, his eyes boring into him. By now, he already knew that the boy could pick up thoughts and read intentions. He still didn't like that, and neither did Hugin. Still, both knew that there was nothing that could be done about it.

Hakan's face suggested that he wanted to say something, but when he opened his mouth and then halted, alarm bells went off in Evan's head. Something was wrong. Shielding his thoughts from Melissa, he asked Hakan a quite direct question as he looked down at Atal. He sounded tired of all this secrecy, though it seemed that Hugin didn't seem to mind.

Look... I came here to recover one little girl and to solve a myriad of problems for another. However, since you seem to know so much, then tell me the truth. Is she going to be all right?

Not even gods are perfect, my friend. Even they can be fooled. Freki hungers not only for food, but also for the unworthy. I bound Melissa to her, because she is the only one who would be able to completely keep Ymir from her. If Ymir attempts to get close to the girl, Freki will devour him. Freki has claimed the child. They are each others...for life. Hakan smiled reassuringly, Have you never considered what Tyr means? He -was-, even before the All father...
PostPosted: Mon Feb 19, 2007 12:39 am

Evan didn't like the sound of that. If one added two and two together, the assumption that would be made was that he would never see Melissa again. The wolves served Hakan, and Freki was now a part of Melissa. Hence, when added together, the result was not very reassuring.

That's a problem, then. I didn't want her to be a vessel for anything else... No offense to Freki, as honorable as she is, but aside from the immortality part, I wanted her to have a good life, not something like this. And the further up the mountain we go, the worse it's going to get.

He didn't know why just yet, but that feeling seemed to intensify. The more he thought about it, the more he believed that if Melissa had not gone with him on this journey, everything would have been fine... He could have taken care of this problem himself instead of adding more burdens to the girl's shoulders.

But seeing as it was too late for that, and he had lost his means of locating Idunn, the only option remaining was to move forward. Besides, his instincts still told him that Atal was the one they sought. Though they hadn't reached the tower yet, he was becoming more and more sure that he had already found what he was looking for.

Loki was probably, more than likely, within the confines of that tower, and if not, it would remove one of the possible locations that he would be. His mind was made up.

This storm is a distraction from our objective. We have to get it cleared and move forward. I doubt that Karasu would have any sort of reason to wreck the weather patterns around here, but that doesn't mean that I'll just sit here and wait for them to come to us.

We have two options, since waiting is no longer one of them. The more we wait, the lower our success rate will be. We can either brave the storm, or break it.

Since their opposition already knew that they were about to go knocking on his doorstep, there was no use in hiding the fact. The only thing one could do was kick down the door and face him head on. Sneaking in the back way wasn't possible with the route they were taking, so straight-on would have to do.

Hakan smiled again, though it was a smile of understanding; rather than patronizing. Sir, do you think I would do that to a child, if I did not think it was needed. Freki wished to see the world, I gave her that chance, you will not lose her so easily. He glanced around, and lifted Atal's chin up, kissing her softly on the lips.

As your lady said, legends change, and the All-Father is dead.

Atal blinked sleepily, but returned Hakan's soft kiss, "Is it time to wake, beloved?" Hakan merely nodded.

"It is time to continue our journey. It is time to go home..."

Lady Minx
"It is time to continue our journey. It is time to go home..."

rolleyes "At long last.. blessed be..."Karasu's voice snarled in all of their ears.. she was there and yet only partially, not yet physically. She wasn't anywhere physically at the moment as a matter of fact, the elemental was metaphysically in the heart of the storm, happily ripping the currents of power to shreds. Every time the storm tried to fight her she simply cut off it's connection before the atoms had a chance to connect again. She was not The true avatar of Air, and could not simply command the storm to stop, but she had a power fulled by the turning of Gaia itself, and that was more than enough power to cut out the heart of any storm.

The wind outside the cave gave one last howl of despair before the silence reigned supreme. The snow continued to fall, but straight down now, and even that would stop once the elemental sent a little breeze to break up the clouds over head.

Karasu decided to reform herself in the cave, the look on her face saying quite clearly that she was in no mood to answer any questions. The lady was back in her gown again, having forgotten he modern clothing, the ornaments in her hair sparkling in the torch light, the long black locks falling around her shoulders like a dark cloak. "Ready?" stare

Evan simply stood and began making his way out of the cave. There was a nagging feeling at the back of his mind- something just on the edge of his knowledge. Now that one fear had been sated and one suspicion confirmed, there was another. It wasn't exactly a fear or suspicion, but something else.

What exactly was that tower, for Hakan to call it home? He wanted to know, but knew he couldn't ask the boy. He'd just have to find out for himself, wouldn't he?

"Ready."

He was the first to make his way out into the snow. Finding that there was still daylight left, he reminded himself that this was a two-day walk. The long way would have taken a bit more time- one, perhaps two days more. Perhaps a week, tops. That path was long forgotten now. Sitting on hildskjalf had all but obliterated the safe way.

Evan probably knew that in the short time they had been in that cave, whatever Loki was planning was either already in motion, or was in the final stages of planning. Either way, he had to get those two children back, before something else hindered their path.

"Let's get moving."

"Are they going to be alright, Hakan?" Atal clung to the warrior boy, uncertain in this endeavor as she had been since the start. She seemed awfully meek for some reason.

Hakan for his part, threw his arm around Atal and nodded, "Everything will be alright once we get home. You just need to ....meet someone first..." His voice spoke of the fact he was burdened with some inner sorrow, but he only brushed away Atal's concern. And then he lead her to follow behind Evan and Melissa, with Geri at his opposite side. Leaving the strange cave and it's furnishings behind them.

The peice of rock that all of the magical creatures were rideing on came to a wide path that lead to a valley in the mountains. Pitt and Shin nodded to each other then spoke in unison. "Ok everyone were back on the trail agin to find the perfect place to start a smithery. Then we will build mines and mine all the magicite these vast mountains have to offer us". The dwarves roared in excitement the picked up their things and headed for the trail. Vladimer the dwaf leader was the last to leave and he walked with the two Light elves after letting the rock fall down the mountain. "You boys are a great help and we thank you very much for it". Pitt patted him on the head. "Well we love magicite it is so helpful to our magic and armor so we could not think of anything else than to guard and help you on your trip". Shin intterupted the conversation. "Plus we always wanted to learn how dwarves make wepons in such an intricate mannor". Pitt flew to the front of the line makeing sure the trail was stable while Shin and Valdimer continued to talk to eachother.

"Let's get moving."

Melissa was ready to go. In fact, she felt frisky, not overhearing the conversation between Hugin and Tyre but only Hugin's reassurances. She was frolicing in the snow, turning and whipping her tail. If someone would throw a stick, she would gladly go fetch it. She certainly had more than enough energy to climb for a few days.

And thus, they began their two-day journey, up the seemingly treacherous path. It was supposed to be completely gone in a few places, but there were ways around that. He thought back on that tower card again... and something flashed through his mind. The card wasn't just a location- something was going to go down inside that building.

For some odd reason, he wasn't afraid of that. What he was more afraid of was that something was going to happen to Melissa. It wasn't really going to be anything short of hell in there, but he was used to that, too. The card meant something else, too...

Someone's tower is about to come crashing down.

His step seemed to pick up as he thought of this. He didn't know whose tower was going to get struck by that lightning yet, but there were only two people who would probably be a target.

After days of endless walking on the mountain trail the elves and dwarves came across a flat Valley-like area witch was near a cave that had the ore that they wanted to mine for themselves.

After seeing this the leader of the group Vladimer told them all to start makeing camp and be ready for alot of work the next few days.

"Ok Lad's and Lasses lets get moveing up an atum"!!!!! The dwarves rushed out of their beds to get their mineing equipment then once all of their pickaxes and hammers were with them they went into the mine to start mineing for things while others started to make bricks with the land around them for the shop by useing earth magic. The two elves Pitt and Shin were growing plant life and looking for a water sorce around the Valley-like area.

Of course, since Loki knew that they were coming for him, he also knew how to slow them down. Rock slides, avalanches, more of those wolves, anything. A wrong step somewhere could most likely lead to a pitfall straight down the mountain... or worse. It all depended on what mood the mountain -and the one who lived atop that mountain- was in today.

There was no way of telling that, either.

"Karasu, scout ahead. I'm expecting visitors soon, and I want to know where they are before they find us first."

He was not in the mood for any more surprises. The things that the High Seat had shown him were more of a history lesson than anything else, besides that one revalation. However, the more knowledge he had, the more power he had. Even if it was from the past.

Karasu nodded and misted away again, a gust of wind shaking snow off the trees on and arround the path as the wind searched ahead of the small party for any sign of danger. The fact that she revealed herself in even such a small way was a slight sign of the irritation that she was still trying to get over.

Hakan said nothing; if he was honest, he was curious how this 'avatar' of Hugin's would work out. He wondered if Hugin and Evan even got along. They would have to if they wanted even a chance of defeating the enemy.

"Hakan, I'm hungry..."

The boy looked down and pondered the green haired woman's words. "We were there that whole time and you didn't eat anything? Silly girl..." But he wasn't scolding her in truth, it was obvious he was smitten. "Here..." He handed her something and she took a bit before snuggling closer into his cloak.

"They are waiting, Hakan. They won't weather this storm. They are going to make us come to them anyways..."

"I know...shhh..."
