AkureiKnight There are good community colleges that dont require SAT scores. Indeed. A lot of smaller schools these days don't require SATs anymore or are starting to lessen the weight on SAT scores as a requirement. (As in, many small colleges will say SAT scores are required but not give an average SAT score of enrolling students; they just want to see that you've been doing the work towards the application process). I've been told by my guidance counselor that SAT scores are often used by the larger schools as another medium for selecting students. For example, places like Harvard are bound to get all close-to-perfect students with straight A's and awesome extraciriculars, but by using SAT scores, they can make the selection process easier.

I have no idea o_o Not only what AK and GirlxPride have said, but because of the scoring a lot of colleges are starting to drop them as being necessary. So I'm just biding my time. 3nodding

That's depressing, I had to sit through major stupid study courses... but i pwned that test's a** big time.

Yeah, despite the smaller colleges not taking the SAT scores thing, I'm still going to bust my tail to get a good score. sweatdrop And nice, Baka! Throw the College Board's test in its face. >=)
