No cussing pwetty lady! You can fights much betta den dis. ::The voice said, but there was no pause between the words and the action. He spoke as he moved. What clair might feel, was quite the massive wieght on her shoulders. Which would be followed by a very loud, very fast "fwoosh". It took all of split second for the boy the manifest his blade, and as Claire deflected the 3 lizards sabers, he was ready to jump into action. He jumped up, in one solid leap onto her right shoulder, and the next he jumped up and forward at the Lizardmen. There were 3 of them. Not to mention all 3 had moved at the same time, to the same place, with the same type of weapon, that puts the 3 of them in...oh...at least a 7ft circumfrence, with D, and Claire at the center point. It was unlikely they expected the little boy to draw a weapon, especially the way Claire had defended him. It was less likely they would have chance to move. You see, speed was this boys defining factor. Speed....and Strength. Such as the strength needed to swing that 5ftx5in, 150lb jet black sword in his hands, at nearly point blanc range the lizard people. He was acting on a supposed element of surprise. Here was a little, suddenly popping out above a woman, and swinging a large heavy sword...very fast. SURPRISE! His aim, was simple. 3 lizards at close range, 3 necks in close range of each other....one sword to slice off all 3 heads...unless they could get out of the 7ft range of the sword...in about the time it took for them to say "Oh".::

Claire gritted her teeth as the boy launched off of her shoulder, just after she had brought the opponents off balance. As the leg sweep came in, the boy pulled out the sword. before the sweep was finished and they were knocked to the floor, the boy swung. When the sweep was finished and the lizards were sent sprawling to the ground, the blade hit.
By the time that both movements were finished, the lizards heads were perfectly aligned with the sword stroke.
SHING
One cut, three heads. Over for them...
"Thanks a lot! They got closer than I figured they would."
Now, what about Ruuvan?

::At which point his clumsy and total lack of style kicked in and the very large sword slammed into the side of the tunnel. There was a moment of surprise before the boys own wieght kicked. Gravity is a mean mistress, it pulled the boy down, and his flailing arms pulled the giant sword down under him, letting him land with a...
--Crash--
Why a crash? Because the glass bottle the boy was holding had shattered when it broke his fall. Like most kids that make a mess, he quickly stood up and pointed at it and said.::
Uh oh...
::And stared for a bit. And then moved on to watch Ruu at work, cheering him on. For some reason, somewhere in that motion, the sword has vanished. No one knew why, cept maybe Ruu and Claire that had seen it do that before, but it didnt matter right now.::

.... And that thing was back, though no longer such a shadow. Attire was black, yes, but not swathing him like a giant stay-puff marshmallow man costume. Simple fitted black shirt, sleeveless, his Scarf mask, and a pair of baggy legged pants, seemingly kept from tangling feet by tightly strapped black gauze. Hands are also wrapped in such, black as well. The creature's bald head, and simple blue eye are entirely visible.

Ruuvan had killed three of the remaining four and was now left with a dual wielding sunnavabihatch to contend with, and from the looks of it he was pretty good with those things, thus adding to the pain in the a** that had been steadily growing since they entered this dungeon.
The truth of the matter was that Ruuvan didn't come into this place intending to ruin the Lizardmen's home, but he was ready to kill anything that got in their way, thus why five of six lay dead at his feet and he was in perfect health. "Why can't these things be simple." Ruu muttered under his breath, inaudible to most people, but he figured the Lizard would be able to hear him and perhaps understand he didn't need to die in the following seconds, but Ruu knew his opponent wouldn't back down so easily and had a slight admiration for this fact. Either way, they had to finish this and carry on moving, so the Lizardman would have to fall.
Bowing his head slightly to the other combatant, Ruuvan started towards him with both swords at the ready. Once the two blades were in reach of the enemy, Ruuvan thrust his right one towards the corresponding arm of the lizard, in order to incapacitate the use of that limb, and slashed across with his left sword at head level in an early attempt at decapitation.

Brass popped the cap to the drink and drank deeply for a moment, once he drank his fill for the moment, he belched rather loudly and kept the drink in his hands. Now that his thirst was quenched, his mind could work better and he began to consider the man's plan.
"Heat isn't exactly my thing is ya didn't notice. And though I wanna get there quickly, I don't feel like dying on the way there. But, I suppose we should rest up here. Then make it treck at 9 like you said."

Halycanos laughed, sitting back on one of the three long couches, sighing gently. "Probably best. I'd offer some form of dirtbike, but I don't have those. Damned expensive, they are." A loud yawn. "But yeah... sleep now, leave tonight." Halycanos reached over to his expensive type remote at pointed it at the complicated TV. With a few clicks, his Tivo would wake them up with one very annoying alarm. The song Wipe Out from a millenia ago.
"If you're not tired, you don't need to sleep, but I would strongly advise it. We need to get moving if you wanna get to Strata any time soon."

Brass chuckled abit at the mention of dirtbikes, he had never ridden one before anyway. So it'd just be an act of insanity if he tried now. He thought about the reason he was here for a quick second and patted inside of his cloak. He felt the reassumring smooth hardness of the gem he had worked so hard for, now he felt at ease with everything. "Alrighty then. See you in the morning." He replied back before he closed his eyes and tucked his feet underneath him. Within a few moments he slipped into a deep mediatative state and his body floated off the ground. It was his way of recharging his divine energies he spent in the battle.

Sage are strange creatures. Floating, meditating, all that. But Halycanos didn't care enough not to rest. His sword was off. He decided there was no need for it when they'd leave. There were only a few sand worms left in the desert sands, and chances are they would never really run into one. Besides, that's what ammunition is for. And thus, Halycanos slept.

However, the left blade came upwards in a clean circle to parry the right blade while the right clashed with his other sword, both moving in an almost indescernible blur. After the left parry was completed, the lizard went for a slash to the midsection of Ruuvan, ducking to its right and removing the weapon lock as it did so by sliding its right blade underneath Ruuvan's offending left.
After that, it cut at the indruder's own left arm as it finished the evasion, hoping to score another hit.
Now, seeing as lizards were cold blooded, they usually took a bit longer to respond than a human being, and had a much slower pace than an elf's. However, this one had watched Ruuvan's movements. It knew that it had to move faster. Not to mention the fact that it just wanted to kill him, now that his captain was gone.
Not that he cared a crap about the captain.
In any event, due to the primal rage and sheer madness... combined with ruthless training... this one moved quite fast indeed.

"Do you want me to waken the angel, Lover?" Again, to sunstrikes mind as Tellus lifted her head sluggishly, to have bright silver eyes peer over Sunny's shoulder at the dragon. Her hand moved up and began to touch Sun's back in precise movements, but what she was doing was anyone's guess.
"Wha...." the eyes flickered to black before turning grean and she spoke in the childish manner that was sometimes an overwhelmed Tellus. Her free hand went to rubbing her eyes, amazingly maintaining her balance. "Wow, what a big dragon." Understatement of the year apparently, but Tellus wasn't convinced she wasn't sleeping still.
"She slumbers still, do you wish me to wake her?" Jabbing at Sunny's mind with a thousand little prickles.

And so both his attacks were blocked with little effort on the Lizard's part, not to mention the attempted counter-attack the creature was making, so Ruuvan would need to put a little more effort into killing this beast.
Once the Lizard had finished his circular parry move, sending Ruuvan's right blade upwards, he loosened his grip and twirled the blade around to have the blade facing down instead of up, thus giving him the reach needed to stop the opponent's left blade slashing across his body. Using much the same move the Lizard had, but with the blade facing down, Ruu flicked it out and upwards, stopping the left blade from moving and locking the two blades in position. This left the rather brutal attack of knocking his own left sword into his arm, but he was prepared. Weak looking bracers, resembling shinpads, lined his lower arms. They were simple in design, looking to be made out of nothing but leather, but underneath lay a good one and a half centimetres of steel. Though this wouldn't stop the blade from cutting in, it could stop a blunt attack. With this in mind, Ruuvan turned the blade so it was the flat that hit his arm instead of the sharp edge, thus stopping the second attack from causing harm.
With both the Lizard's weapons locked against his person, Ruuvan moved his body forwards and delivered a rather hefty kick to the lower body of said Lizardman, hopefully knocking him back and giving him the chance to rush forward with his released blades - as the Lizard getting pushed would cause said blades to be free from their defending position - and plunge both of them into the chest of his opponent.

And the kick connected, knocking the wind out of the creature for a brief second, and sending him back a good three feet. However, he recovered quickly and saw a blur headed his way. With a frustrated growl, the lizard man turned his back to the incoming intruder and twisted its lower body.
The tail of one of these fighters was around 4-6 feet in length and, when force and motion was put behind them, stung like a bullwhip. So when the tail intercepted Ruuvan's quickly approaching figure, it would hurt quite a bit, not to mention send him careening into the nearest side wall.
Then again, there was the agility and reflexes of his opponent to worry about. Still, it was a headlong rush, and a quite fast one. Unless he could change his forward momentum on a dime and leave a nickel in change...
He'd be hit square in his side.

If there was a conversation about this fight, or maybe a commentary done by the fighters, Ruuvan would not have said his rush was headlong or blind - he was an Elf after all. No, this was not an uncontrolled rush that could be faltered by a simple swish of the Lizardman's tail, Ruu wouldn't make it that easy.
Having lowered his stance to provide extra tension in his legs, thus adding to the speed, he was in a perfect position to use this stance to perform a jump of sorts. With a simple push off the ground and tucking in of his legs, Ruu was able to float just above the tail as it swung below him, but that meant he was still faced with his airborne approach to the Lizard. So, with his original plan in mind, Ruu simply stabbed with his swords from his mid-air crouched position in order to perform the move he was initially starting, only his legs were no longer on the ground this time and the Lizard's back was facing towards him making it all the more easier.
