[[*tries to reinitiate herself into the rp, Pan will come back after the meta I think*]]
Run run run run... was all that was on Jal's mind right now, despite the chaos he created running through the crowds of the city gardens. He HAD to get away, quickly. His belt wasn't quite on and he was holding his pants up with his hands. He couldn't let Ceelan's father catch him.
"JAAL! You slimy piece of Oxen dung!! Get back here and face me like a man!" Said an angry and overweight balding man raising a sword around. "You b*****d child, deflowering my innocent Ceelan" The old man muttered to himself as he shoved his large body through the partying crowds, disrupting the beautiful ceremony without a care to what was happening around him.
Jaal just continued running as he FINALLY got that belt fastened. He had no clue the girl was still so young, still a teen. She SAID she was of age, but she was just so beautiful and so willing. Jaal had no clue her father wanted her to be the mother of the savior.
Jaal fought his way through the crowd looking for any opprotunity to save his hyde if possible. This man wanted blood and Jaal definately wanted to keep his life.

Baptiste, whose words to Gwynna seem to fall on deaf ears, shrugs and then is almost herded away from the women with scepters. Confused, but unwilling to make a scene, he loiters with some of the other men around, watching and keeping a close eye on Tamlin. She's his charge, almost, and he wouldn't abide by her being hurt or stolen away.
Caroline puts up a protest as Rojiza is nudged away from her, toward the outer circle. She is quieted, though, by the air of seriousness and the knowledge that all the other Fortunette children are there with her. They'd band together, she knew, if anything went wrong. The Hankie Priestess' words reach her, and she thinks. I don't even know what's going on. I just want Ro to be safe. Whether or not I'm chosen for whatever it is they're choosing for doesn't matter to me. But if you choose me, unknown spirit, I'll be good and do my best to fulfill whatever it is you need here. She smirks to herself. Long as you can live among gypsies.

As Leshya'e looked around, a woman standing near her spoke up. With a shrug, she was about to reply, "I'm just as confused as you I believe, I don-..." She would have said more, but it was then that the priestesses gave their instructions. Taking hold of Anezka's hand and then glancing back at the women, she shrugged again, "I guess we'll all see soon enough, eh?" Stepping into place like the priestesses had said to, she squeezed Anezka's shoulder, "Calm down now, no more hopping...this is serious."
[Again, so sorry Hin, can't believe I was so braindead]

Having bound up the three parallel cuts across Sindri's hindquarters, a very dejected young woman tried to make her way through the crowds. Altaira's mind was on things not done - like getting Kala off the bobcat before blood was shed - and on things that may have to be done. This is what happens when you try to be social, she thought...
It was only when Jal pushed past them, almost dislodging the dozing Fortunette from Altaira's day bag did she blink out of her gloomy reverie. The usually mild mannered half-gypsy swore and turned to look at him in the press of people. To say she was stressed and taking it out on someone would be fair.
"Watch where you're going, *******. What's the matter with you? Have some patience, it's not like two seconds will kill you."
(Hope it is ok to throw Al at him for a minute XD' *Censored just in case - even if it was in German*)

Lorelei didn't notice the commotion caused by Jal's wild escape. Instead, she was edging towards the other part of the ceremony. She'd seen Clostho head that way, scepter in hand.
While she had no real desire to go down, especially since her whole mess had started when she ran into a Siphoner, the thought burbled in her mind. Her magic was already bound, so if they bound her sisters' magic as well... she could help them, tell them that the pain would pass.
Plus she'd get a chance to talk to Clostho again. Lorelei considered the woman a friend, and knew that if she didn't take this chance, she might lose her in the crowd once more.
She hovered, unsure of whether to take a scepter from one of the smiling priests or not.

She looked over her shoulder and saw he was finally hidden from the large man. "Listen, help me owt an I will pay ya back. Promise." Faster then she could protest he fell to the ground and hid under her skirt.
"I won be here lon' ma'am, just letun that fat bald oaf pas'n bai." He tried not to touch her too close, but did notice that the legs hidden under there were very nice.
[[[*hopes she is wearing a skirt ^^;; ]]

She hovered, unsure of whether to take a scepter from one of the smiling priests or not. A priest saw the woman hovering nearby, and he waited to see if she would take any of the scepters he had left. The one nearest her was a bronze, tipped on its somewhat bulbous end by a large mystic topaz.

(*Hadn't thought about it, but she rarely wears her only pair of trousers, so!* XD)
"You had better be in real danger." Was all she could manage to say, the anger shocked out of her by the fact there was a man hiding under her skirt. As if that wasn't bemusing enough, hadn't she be furious at him a moment ago? In theory she should kick the dog outta there and let the man with the sword have him.
"...your, ah, bald friend should be gone in a moment." Altaira didn't dare move and probably looked like she was a crazy woman talking to her self, or her (rather large) cat. "Then I reckon you have some explaining to do..."
"Quick explaining." She added, looking down at the bobcat.

((Crap, so sorry Mene! gonk ))
With an apologetic glance at Baptiste, Gwynna stepped forward with the other women. It was rather an impressive feat of balance, holding Nusa and her scepter, plus her own. Touching the two scepters together was actually easier; Gwynna could take some of the strain off of her little daughter and onto her right hand.

"SHHH!" He said louder from under the skirt. He really didn't dare say a peep, he was just appreciating the view and happy that her foot wasn't inserted heavily into his ribs as well as Ceelan's fathers sword wasn't there as well.
"You bumbling, stupid, fatherless, homewrecking, son of a mule! JAAL! Come out and FIGHT like a man. Where are you?" The balding man screamed out as he pushed himself through the crowd. He gave one quick glance at Altaira and her bobcat "Gypsies..." He muttered as if it were an insult as he looked towards the woman. "Have you seen a large muscle bound idiot with half his clothes on run this direction?" He asked the girl. He snarled at the bobcat, "What in the..." The man searched the crowd obviously in a hurrty.
Now Jaal was too busy silently praying for his life rather than looking at undergarments.

Lorelei noticed the priest and, swallowing a little and hoping that one Siphoner wouldn't recognize her, extended her hand. "If it is not too much to ask... might I express myself, as well?" she asked, remembering the whispers of what had gone around. She didn't know just what that entailed, but it couldn't be any worse than the pain of losing her magic.
She shifted Vanna from her shoulders into her arms, smiling faintly.

Let's just say, the sleepy bobcat snarled back. He'd had one fight today. And an angry Sindri showing his fangs is not a thing to be dismissed so easily - unless you're a panther of course.
"Except for the 'musclebound' and 'half his clothes' comments, I'd say I was looking at him. Or did you mean, 'tubby' 'with half his hair'?" It was a quick slap of words. 'Gypsies' indeed. And who the hell did he think he was, looking fit to murder in teh middle of celebrations. Altaira moved her hand to the hilt of her dagger on her belt. One she'd never used except to cut up herbs, tangled traces and the like.
"I've had enough to deal with today so why dot you just move along? Any idiot could tell you the man trailing his belt ran out of the park and turned right, except you're too busy causing a fuss and pushing past people." I'd start wobbling after him if I were you, you son of a maggot eating wench....
Grey eyes glared over the head of yet another person who'd squeezed through, between the man with the sword and the half gypsy. Another with a torch made to follow the first. They were two of a very small majority not moving.
A leg kicked Jaal softly and she took a slight side step - trying to indicate, not uncover - mentally cursing.... crawl while still under there if you have to but he'll wonder why we're not moving you oaf....by the gods why am I even helping you?!

The middle-age man gave Altaira a suspicious look, but it seemed she was telling the truth. He also didn't want to deal with her kind any more than he had to, "Whore, know your place and MIND your elders!" He said waving his sword.
Neverless the balding man looked worried in the direction of Sindri. "I bet you wouldn't be so bold if you didn't have that overgrown house cat with you!" He mummered as he ran off towards the direcction she was pointing. She angered him even more but he wanted to direct his anger towards someone more 'diserving'
Jal was breaking out in a sweat under that skirt hoping that he didn't notice the gypsy's skirt was exceptionally fluffy today. It was also hot in there. The kick made it worse as he held back a pained moan. Women! They get me into nothin' but trouble. he thought as she stepped slightly aside. What'n does she want? Jaal took a slight peek out from under the rather large billowing skirt to finally get a clue that they WERE the only ones not moving. Ahh! But notta reason' ta kick me. Jaal thought as he crawled carefully under the gypsies skirt. Hopefully she would tell him when the coast was clear

Silver giggled when Rojiza made faces at the priestesses, but grew very quiet when they started herding the children away from their mothers and toward the outer rings. Silver was still holding onto her children, the priest looking at her almost nervously, holding both arms out in an attempt to take Khevashi from her again. "Momma, Ro's gone!" Aisrhan's fierce whisper immediately sent a wave of concern through Silver. She saw Caroline's face and made up her mind. She handed Khevashi to Aisrhan. "YOU hold him. Do not let him out of your sight... but go with them." Aisrhan's eyes widened with shock. "But momma!" "Go." Silver bent down to whisper in her daughter's ear. "Go look after Rojiza too, please." Aisrhan closed her mouth, and nodded. Her eyes now reflected seriousness and determination as she let the (relieved-looking) priest herd she and her brother to the outer ring. Khevashi giggled and hugged his sister, waving to his mother as he was carried away, disappearing behind the white-robed priest.
Silver turned and gave Caroline a look that said "they'll be fine", squeezing her friend's shoulder as the priestess spoke.
What am I thinking? What am I thinking!? Why are we here, what the hell is happening to our kids, what is going ON? THAT's what I'm thinking. Are you hearing THAT "Oh Great Saviour"? Silver thought angrily. A moment later, however, she forced herself to calm down. They're fine. Aisrhan will keep them safe. They're alright. She sighed heavily, having almost convinced herself that these things were true. Almost. Silver closed her eyes and contemplated the priestesses words. Suddenly an image popped into her mind. It was Kidra. What part was she playing in all of this? Silver found herself unable to focus on that thought. Instead, she remembered that Kidra was a Gelm, and that made Silver think of home. Thinking of home led to thoughts of friends and family, and that, of course, led to thoughts of her brother. Immediately, a profound sadness that she had thought long-overcome, engulfed her. Kidra was suddenly the farthest person from her mind. Tears welled in Silver's emerald eyes. She shut them tighter, as though to banish the memory, but Nuroah was all she could see. Her hand instinctively went to the dragon pendant around her neck as thoughts of her children, whom her brother would have loved to meet, took a back seat to her remembered pain, and it was all she could do to keep from sinking to her knees and sobbing on the ground.

Over grown house cat? What mere housecat had these looks? This style? My skills? I ask you, an over grown house cat-!Sindri clawed and kneaded a comfortable patch for himself to nap on once more. In his mind he was just a wee bit annoyed. Hmph.
It was hard to move through a crowd, relatively slowly, with someone crawling under your skirt. Thankfully, this park had trees, and once back in the secluded corner she'd been /leaving/....
"Get out from under there. You've had enough time to cop an eyeful and baldy is gone. I sent him on a wild goose chase."
