Wow so many questions!!

1. The street or village they went to fetch slughorn was called Budleigh Babberton.
2. Dumbledore was kept by reading muggle magazines (knitting patterns)
3. Dragon blood was on the walls.

4. The relationship between the four creators were that they were really good friends: slytherin and gryffindor were best friends, hufflepuff and ravenclaw were also best friends. You already answered Slytherin's core belief so I don't have to answer it...Ravenclaw believed to teach those who were the most intelligent and had the sharpest minds, Gryffindor believed to teaching those who were brave and bold and hufflepuff believed in teaching everybody else (who were loyal and hardworking) and treated them the same.

5. Ron's first words to any of the weasleys were: "HELLO? HELLO? CAN YOU HEAR ME? I- WANT-TO-TALK-TO-HARRY-POTTER!"

and finally
6. Mad eye moody's fav expression was: CONSTANT VIGILANCE!

In what way does the spell "Accio!" relate to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire? I'm looking for how it effected the books plot.

Over which eye did Alastor Moody have his fake eye over?

What plant when undiluted will raise horribly painful boils, but when properly diluted and processed can be used to cure acne?

Directed at Question 4:

You are correct. I'll give you the point. One minorly major detail that you forgot to mention was that Gryffindor and Slytherin were best friends but that because of their radically different beliefs concerning the acceptance of muggles into Hogwarts, their friendship fell apart whereas Ravenclaw's and Hufflepuff's did not.

I am so sorry that I haven't answered the questions. College and real life have made me so busy. So here it goes:

1. "Accio" affected the GoF plot by basically being the plot twist in everything and changing everything. When the fake moody hinted to Harry about the first task with the dragon about using his flying ability, and saying "you've got a wand", Hermione taught him the spell. Without it he would have never passed the first task. Also the fake Moody took the mauraders map when harry solved the egg...harry told him how the map worked and also told him that Mr. Crouch was stealing into Snape's potion's stores....since he himself was that Mr. Crouch, he obviously wanted to hide the evidence that he was fake and so, nobody figured out his identity. Also, at the graveyard, Harry used accio to get out of the graveyard...without it, be probably would have died and so the books plot changed dramatically. Is this right? Your question was vague.

2. Moody had his fake eye over left eye, but in the movies its on the right.

3. Bubotuber.

WOW! wait to go P! You are correct! Perfectly understandable, real life is way more important than guild life.

Now, how many floors (including the dungeons, ground floor, and Kitchens) are there in the Hogwarts castle?
PostPosted: Mon Feb 04, 2008 10:22 pm

That's a tricky one. Well there's the dungeons (1.) kitchens (2) ground floor (3) first floor (4.) second floor (5.) third floor (6.) fourth floor (7.) fifth floor (8.) sixth floor (9.) seventh floor (10.) towers (11.) and then we have the chamber of secrets which could count as one (12.) the philosopher's stone secret place (13.) and the hufflepuff dorms that are in a basement (14.)

I could be wrong...I don't know if the towers count as one...but in this case lets say they do.

Well I thought it was 13....BUT you included the chamber of secrets, which went with my directions so I'll give it to you. Good job!

Now, true or false- all purebloods are related.
PostPosted: Mon Feb 04, 2008 10:50 pm

That is tricky...well I remember Sirius saying that all purebloods are related to each other one way and another...since there are so few of them, they have to intermarry when Harry was surprised that he was related to the Malfoys. So in a sense true because they are all related in a close way or far along the line.

Wrong!

Now, I may be wrong too, so you might want to look this up. However, I do believe that the Purebreds are related by two lines. The Peverell Family and Skytherin families. Thus, not ALL of them are related. Once again, I could be wrong, so please do not be mad if I am! You may want to look it up to be sure!

Oi, sorry for taking so long in answering your question. At any rate, I think there is probably more, but all I can remember are Michael Corner, Dean Thomas, and obviously Harry Potter.

Even if they're bred into two lines there have been arguments concerning whether the Slytherins and the Peverells are related or not. Well, more specifically if Harry and Voldemort are related, 'cause we know that Potters descend from the Peverells (correct?) and Voldemort from Slytherin.
However, didn't the Gaunts marry into the Peverells?
The Gaunts also happen to be the last line, so it really matters which point you're looking at.
Technically speaking, Voldemort and Harry ARE in actuality related. So if you're speaking from the Harry-Voldemort era, then Paraphernalia IS correct, I believe.

On a further note, Black DID say that all purebloods are related at some point:
"'The pure-blood families are all interrelated,' said Sirius. 'If you're only going to let your sons and daughters marry pure-bloods your choice is very limited; there are hardly any of us left. Molly and I are cousins by marriage and Arthur's something like my second cousin once removed. But there's no point looking for them on here - if ever a family was a bunch of blood traitors it's the Weasleys.'"
