Tsuzuki suppressed the urge to giggle at 'drunk like that'. The kitten had barely had a full cup of sake and he'd toppled like a... like a kid and his twenty first birthday, "Owe you what?" he asked instead of laughing. Probably the wiser choice, considering.

"A new plate of gyoza," Hisoka smiled slightly. Actually, looking back on it... the only reason he'd gotten drunk was because his body wasn't used to alcohol... given that he'd died when he was sixteen and had been dying for three years prior...

Tsuzuki whined at that, "But aren't you paying for all of this already?" he moaned, "Don't start a Tatsumi on me, I beg of you!" Owing someone for food had always seemed a tad outrageous to him, unless you were paying for it with love undying or something else equally nice like that.

Hisoka laughed softly. "Fine, fine. You don't owe me-- this time," he smiled, enjoying this more than he would ever dare to admit.

Satisfied that the begging had done the trick, Tsuzuki settled himself into finishing off Hisoka's gyoza, "So... you're not saying I have to pay for dinner, are you?--because I'm sure we could negotiate that and all. I'm perfectly willing to pay as long as I've got a certain someone's credit card~"

Hisoka laughed. "No, you don't have to pay for dinner," the shinigami shook his head. "Unless you piss me off."

"That sounds remarkably like a certain concentric shape gone pseudo-Gestapo sort of comment," Tsuzuki teased further, "You really do need to get out of that house more often, 'soka, their speech patterns are rubbing off on you."
Nicking the final gyoza and putting it once more in front of the kitten's mouth he looked at Hisoka intenly, "Real last chance?"

Hisoka gave Tsuzuki a look before nabbing it from the wolf with his own chopsticks and biting it in half. "Why do you like stealing my gyoza anyway?" he asked, considering.

Tsuzuki grinned, moving back to his own designated space at the counter and faced his empty ramen bowl contemplatively. "They taste better," he supplied slowly, thoughts drifting back to the initial, silent excuses he'd made to himself, "Besides, sharing makes everything feel so much better, and you'd never bother to take one of mine unless I started it, so..."

That was... without a doubt, one of the more absurd things Hisoka had heard lately. Rolling his eyes, Hisoka finished off the gyoza, contemplating how the heck he was supposed to respond to a statement such as that one.

Smiling a smile for the self and surprisingly feeling no urge to laugh, Tsuzuki merely nodded, "That's exactly what I thought you'd say," he agreed with the silence amiably.

Deciding a change of subject was more than in order, Hisoka's mind jumped. "What do you want to do next?" he asked, considering.

"I thought we were going back to the Nest to see raven," the puppy prompted readily, having been ready for this question ages ago. It seemed to be the most frequent sentence they shared these days.

Hisoka shrugged. "All right then." The kitten moved to the counter, where he exchanged quiet words with Hao, paying him and then motioning for the wolf to follow him out.

Following without question, Tsuzuki paused only for a moment--to throw a glance back at Hao, and to wonder briefly which was stranger about what they'd just done, that they had eaten at a ramen stand in a parallel universe, manned by a demon or that they had done so and managed to leave no worse for the wear.
