Sol looked up as...something...sprinted past them. When he called out, she knew it was a trainer, and watched him for a couple seconds, not having been able to say anything. "That was...interesting," Sol said with a slight smile. Meanwhile, Orion looked back to see Squirt behind him, and looked up. There was a low-hanging cherry blossom some hundred feet away or so- if he could just get there... The charmander lowered his head and put on an extra burst of speed, trying to reach the tree quickly so he'd have time to jump up. The four or five foot jump to the lowest branch wouldn't be hard, but making sure Squirt couldn't cling to him as he jumped was.

Sammy looked around for Squirt; where had he gone? Squirt also began racing faster, seeing what Orion was aiming for; he would never be able to climb that thing. Deciding it was best, Squirt shot bubbles at Orion, trying to knock him over or something along those lines.

Sol noticed Sammy's inquiring glance and noticed her own pokemon gone, too. She quickly spotted a flaming tail bobbing above the grass, and the grass behind said tail parting as the thick shell forced it to make way. She smiled amusedly and pointed them out to Sammy with a nod before making her way over to the pair.
Orion "eeped" as he heard the sound of the bubbles being released from Squirt's mouth, and he leapt for the tree a touch too early, only managing to grasp and hook his claws into the bark. The rest of him was wiggling furiously as he tried to pull himself up onto the branch before Squirt got there.

Sammy, seeing Sol pointing to their pokemon, glanced that way and chuckled as she saw the pokemon racing through the grass. "Squirt is gonna fail," she sighed, shaking her head. As if her words had fueled the future, Squirt raced after Orion, only to reach the tree when Orion was attempting to scurry up. He leaped, hoping to, atleast, knock Orion down so he could have another chance.

Squirt used another Tackle, as it would do the most damage out of all of his moves. He slammed into the opponent, and it flew off in a hurry to get away.

A darkly amused gleam entered Sol's eyes as Sammy practically squeaked out her question. "I don't know," she lied easily. Much as she'd rather not, there were little other ways to reach Eterna City. And so the lie came easily to her lips. "Although I've heard there's a couple ghost-types there, and I'd like to catch one of those." After all....What forest didn't have bugs?
