Shikamaru raised an eyebrow at the reaction of the two mammals, "Um, why can't Akamaru just come up on the bed. There is enough space here." This was awkward. A strange tension had filled the air. Akamaru and Kiba were more strongly bonded then he had realized.

"Love you, too." he said quietly as Kankurou drifted back to sleep. He knew his dream was far too bizarre to ever happen, so, he forced himself to close his eyes. He laid there, thinking about things. No matter what he thought about, that frightening dream would always come back to his mind. An image or just a pure, blood-red. He knew it was foolish to dwell so much on this stupid dream, but, his subconscious mind seemed to think otherwise.

A little while of silence, some sleep, but something was bothering Kankuro, and he woke up. He remained where he was, though, listening to Shino's breathing, and feeling his heartbeat under the arm that was resting across the boy. His eyes slowly came open, and he rolled his head to the side a bit, rolling over somewhat so he wasnt resting on Shino mostly, anymore. Instead, he was now laying on his back, again, with that one arm still wrapped around Shino's.
Kankuro shifted enough so that his fingers intertwined with Shino's, and he rolled his head to the side, watching the other boy sleep. Only then did he notice that the other boys' breathing was too irregular for him to be asleep. "Something the matter?" He asked quietly, his grip on Shino's hand tightening gently for comfort.

Shino felt Kankurou moving. His eyes opened when the other spoke. He held on to Kankurou's hand like he was going to disappear, "I had a nightmare. A really bad nightmare." Shino moved closer to Kankurou and he looked into Kankurou's eyes.

Kankuro's eyes were full of concern, and he reached his free hand out and cupped Shino's cheek. "What was it about?" He asked quietly, rubbing the other boy's cheek with his thumb in a comforting way. He was even more worried because Shino was holding onto his hand so hard. "Anything I can do to make you feel better?" He then asked, shifting his head forward a bit so his forhead rested against Shino's.

"It was...there was..." Shino took a breath to try to calm down, "You were there and I was there. I don't know where there was. It was just this pitch black place and the only thing I could see was you. You reached out to me and I gave you something. I gave you a heart. My heart, I think. And you smiled. No, grinned. It was a frightening grin. Blood started pouring down from the...walls, I guess you could call it. Then you dropped the heart and you...squished it. It hurt terribly and then I woke up." Shino clung to Kankurou, "Just don't leave me." he whispered.

Kankuro looked away slightly with a frown and held Shino close, his own hand tightening within Shino's grip. What did that dream mean? He looked back to Shino, though, and smiled comfortingly. He leaned his head forward a bit more and planted his lips on Shino's in a kiss, hoping to prove that that dream would never come true, whatever it meant. He deepened the kiss a bit also to try and help Shino forget the dream so he wasnt bothered by it so much.

Shino reached up and wrapped his arms around Kankurou's neck. He wanted to throw himself into Kankurou and part of him wanted to fear him all at the same time. Shino ignored the fear. Kankurou loved him. He wouldn't do anything like that to him. Besides, taking a heart out of a person meant they would be dead very quickly anyway. What kind of stupid dream was that? It made no sense. Shino found bravery in Kankurou. He could face his fears now.

Kankuro wound up rolling slightly, pulling Shino on top of him, their lips still locked. He wrapped his arms around Shino's waist, and deepened the kiss a little more. He didnt want to see Shino suffer, and just the thought of the dream sent chills down his spine. He was begining to understand the dream a bit, but didnt like its meaning. But it was one thing, he knew, that would never happen. He loved Shino too much to break his heart.

Shino let himself be moved. He weaved his fingers in Kankurou's hair and let his tongue travel across the older ninjas lip. Almost all of him believed in Kankurou fully, but, there was the tiniest, microscopic bit of him that was still afraid of being left alone.

Kankuro's own tongue came out to greet Shino's, as his hands slid a little bit up the other boy's back, causing his shirt to lift a bit. He smiled slightly into their ravaged kiss, hoping that this was helping Shino a bit, but all the while, enjoying it entirely. They'd never kissed like this, before...

Shino opened his mouth a little, allowing Kankurou's tongue entrance to his mouth. He reached under Kankurou's shirt and let his hands travel along the other's torso. One of his hands moved upwards. Shino brushed his fingertips over one of Kankurou's now hard nipples. The other hand stayed on Kankurou's stomach.

Deidara groaned at the irritating poking, moving slightly. Feeling the nearby source of warmth that came from the other boy, the blonde automatically reached out in his sleep for it, finding the Kazekage's feet and tugging them out from underneath him. Deidara hugged Gaara's legs, curling towards the warmth and comfort.

Kankuro's tongue darted into Shino's mouth, giving off a slight noise, as the other boys' hand trailing up his shirt tickled, slightly. His own hands moved on their own accord, one settling against the other boy's side, underneith the shirt and resting on his skin. The other pressed, again against bare skin, Shino's back, holding him close.
((Man, if this roleplay isnt much good in anything else, we at least should get points for romance!))
Haku sighed slightly, a little unnirved with Zabuza's uncanny silence, in this prediciment. He got up and stood as much as he could in the tent. "I'll keep watch for the rest of the night. Please, get some rest, Zabuza-san." He gave a slight smile, masking his true emotions before he left the cover of the tent. Stretching slightly as he got outside, he disappeared for a moment, only to re-appear resting on the same branch Zabuza had found as a good vantage-point. Leaning against the main part of the tree, he watched everything around the small camp-if you could call it that-and often glimpsed down at the tent that contained Gaara and Deidara.
