No words came as Gammu shifted his aim and broke apart Damien's face, jaw, and throat with successive rounds. At most their was a gurgling of blood. There would be no coming back. The rest of the mag was emptied into the fragmented remains of the skull. By the time it was all done there wasn't much left.

"Check his pockets, he owes me a dry cleaners bill."

Letting the empty mag drop to the floor Gammu reached into his coat and loaded another one before holstering the weapon. Then bending down he picked up the mag and pocketed it. Making use of what you have and salvaging materials was the life blood of any military force. No need to throw out something that can be reused.

And the weapon was holstered, still cold.
"You do it, he's yours." Gamma said, nudging whatever cannon the corpse had. Choosing not to notice the pinkish pieces of flesh-wrapped bone sticking to the lapels of his jacket.

He spoke to the room, knowing only a pair of ears would hear the words. Gammu knew this already;
"Words really suck at stopping bullets."

Mess with the bull, get the 5.7mm slug. This wasn't a crappy TV show, the Gams were committed and direct.

"Words don't do s**t except get you killed."

Dropping down to one knee Gammu was forced to bloody his suit even more as he riffled through the belongings of the dead man. There wasn't much, not even enough to cover half of the bill. Pocketing it he looked at the weapon.

"Think we could sell it?"

Pointing to the weapon the man had failed to use in his defence.

((The cannon you guys have won't work unless you use a special cell. Unfortunately you killed the only person who can make them))

"Take it," Gamma gave a shrug suddenly wishing he still had his cigarettes, "Reprocess it into rounds or rails."

Looking down his chest, picking at the spongy flesh clinging to his suit. This place was more than likely going to become really unfriendly, really quick.

Damien's body and flesh start dissolving as the acids that are contain in his body are released. The acid is strong enough that soon even all the guns, leather, metals, and cloth that composed his body are quickly dissolving. The acid originally used to digest creatures before his chrysalis has only increased in potency over thousands of years. Very soon all that was left of his body is a large hole going several feet into the ground and a mouse sized black creature that quickly starts burrowing through the ground and in less than a second gone in its tunnel.

Jack went to stand beside Owle at the sound of the gun shots. He withdrew one barretta and bent down at his knees.

"What was that?"

Jack would worry about the clothes later, he bet it was those drunks again.

((Done with Flare's ******** an anti-magical aura couldn't stop the connection that ran between Owle and Flare. The two women were a part of one another, a conjoined soul in seperate bodies. Unless that soul were severed, they could share each others thoughts, see through each other's eyes.

And so it was that Owle saw Gammu kill Damien. Before she could do a damn thing about it.

A pants leg would drape itself over Jack's head momentarily as Owle dropped his laundry and went running down the stairs. Looks like Jack was going to get to do some work as a bouncer already.

And he couldn't even say he'd gotten clean clothes out of it.

"OUT of my bar! Now."

Owle's chest was heaving, her face twisted in rage as she reached the bottom of the stairs and shouted at the two damn drunks. The drunks who had just murdered a man in cold blood. She maintained some degree of rationality, in figuring that she was decently safe...they would aim for her head at first, or for her gut, not for her feet. And she could shift almost as fast as they could pull the trigger.

Jack shrugged, and followed her down. It looked like they weren't exactly going to be using the advantage of surprise here. While walking, he tossed his clothing onto the same chair that made it possible to get to the roof in the first place.

"Eh..."

Jack Handy wasn't to keen on wasting rounds, and he had an idea that his bullets might not even hit creatures in this world. It was a frightening thought, but what else could he do?

The guy would pull some matrix s**t being meta-human, and try to get into melee range. That was the only answer he could think of.

Half way up the stairs, Jack waited behind Owle. His left hand went over the hilt of a blade portruding from his back plate, and out came a marine sabre that was built a bit differently with its materials.

His right hand took a ka-bar off the side of his boot.

Owle you idiot!!!

Years of concealing her emotions were the only things that kept Flare from shouting the sentiment allowed. She stopped her retreat to the door, the glow around her hands built, and her left hand tightened its grip on her rapier.

She had a plan, but it meant she might blow up the idiot girl, too. And that wasn't acceptable.

((Okay, since I figure the layout of the room will be important at this point...

The bar is positioned in the center of the rear wall, facing the door.

The stairs are on the far right of the rear wall, meeting the corner. They go up a little ways before coming to a landing, then turn to the left and vanish from the view of the common room.

Owle is standing at the bottom of the stairs. Jack is either on the landing or somewhere on the steps.

Gamma and Gammu are still by their table, wherever that may be. I've been assuming near the bar, towards the center of the room.

Flare is approaching the door.

Kalis and Athan are gathered around a table I assume is on the lefthand side of the room, near the bar.

Paul is...somewhere or other. We can assume he went into super stealth mode until he posts again. Same goes for everyone else who posted an entrance and has yet to post an exit.

EDIT: If I'm wrong about the position of your character, correct me in your next post. This is what I've gotten based off reading the previous stuff.))

And then the s**t really hit the fan. Athan had time to turn at the gunshot, since he had done his best to ignore the antics of the two rowdy patrons. He was just about ready to start on another mug of beer, too. But then they just had to go and ruin it with the whole murder thing.

Athan's head lowered, a loud sigh leaving his lungs as he set the mug down and turned around to the source of all the commotion. Sure enough, there was a corpse on the ground. Or close enough to one, really. It was bleeding, and there was a guy rummaging through his...well, its...pockets.

Owle was visibly upset, Flare went to draw for her weapon, and somewhere, Rage wept for the state of his bar.

"Son of a b***h."

Athan stepped away from the bar. He didn't have his sword with him, but he did have the whole 'I'm probably stronger than you' thing going for him. Never one to really think things over, and being the type that always kind of enjoyed the type of fights associated with bars, he started moving forward slowly towards the two.

Then of course, in typical Athan fashion, he broke into a run before the two even had a chance to respond to Owle's demand. He crossed the ten feet or so of distance in between him and Gammu before most people even noticed what the hell he was doing.

There was the matter of the hole that had developed following the release of powerful acids ala Alien, but Athan had a way around that. The hole wasn't too wide, probably about three feet, tops. So, just before impact with the kneeling figure, Athan sprung forward, leaving his feet just as he lowered his shoulder and prepared to spear the unsuspecting man to the ground, both arms intent on wrapping up the target upon impact. Many broken chairs, bottles, and tables were soon to follow, no doubt.
