Mizaku glances at what he thought was movement over a hill. He runs up to the ledge and looks down at the feilds. It was a herd of Zebra. His eyes widen, he'd never really seen Zebra before, besides one that he ate back with his family. The leopards tail wags excitedly, and he sneaks into the grass quietly so as not to startle them and get a better look.
Once he was a bit closer he could see how big they were. He stayed still, and sat quietly in the waving grass. His eyes fized on one after another, examing what they were up to.

Urari felt a little tap on his head as the bird pecked him. He eyed the bird with ferocity. "That's it, show's over for you, squeaky!" He lauched towards the bird snapping his jaws with his paws extended. He was going to be ready for this fight, and he was not going to lose it.

Msuko squeaked as she fell from the cub's head. That furry thing had remarkably sharp teeth! She flapped her wings hurridly, with a sharp kree at Urari, flying out onto a fragile branch that in no way could hold the cub's weight.

"Ka ka!" The little bird laughed. "Silly fur-fur can't get me out here!" Msuko held out her wings and wiggled on the branch, kree-ing and laughing so hard her feathers shook.

"Shut up, pest," The elder zebra says, ears flattening back, a sure sign of anger in his species. He also raises a hind foot warningly, but it's all in vain...the perky little colt merely sidles around him, nipping happily at an ear as he jumps up. "Pakaa, do you think we'll meet any monsters out here? I've never seen a monster! Maybe even a leopard. Or a lion!" The colt looks positively thrilled at the idea. "And I can kill him, and we can be known as the lion-killer zebras, and everybody would want to be friends with us!" The idea seems to charm him. "And you can be my sidekick," He decides, looking over the older zebra decisively.

Pakaa merely rolls his eyes. Foals. He doesn't notice Fedha, nor Dhiki; his attention is focused on the pesky little one next to him.

Dhiki's diabolical mind worked as he moved through the grasses torwards who he thought was the leader of the Zebra herd. He wove his careful way through the sleeping zebra's, until he was stopped beside the large male.

The size was intimidating, as were the sharp lethal hooves that could cut his body in two... But, curiosity and an urge for trouble can often create an oddball form of courage.

Dhiki, skittered his way over to the Leader's back end, found his tail and...

Bit down on it as hard as he could, his little barbed teeth barely breaking skin, if not that.

Urari had looked down during all of this commotion and lost his balance. Shocked, he grapped ahold of a nearby branch but lost grip due to him being scared.

He fell with a loud THUD.

For a moment he didn't get up. He lifted his eyelids and looked around, feeling an enormous pain all over his body. "Wha-what happened?" He asked himself and anyone around him. He was confused. No one was there...that couldn't be. The last thing he remembers was talking with a cheetah cub, but now he wasn't here. No one was. He began to panic. Trying to calm himself he sat down and tried to breath slower.

the leader made a honking sound as he leaped up and stomped the ground. missing Dhiki. he looks around then spots another larger male and a foal. his eyes narrow as he makes a whinnie sound awaking the herd. then he looks to the zebras again. his hairs on end. he begins to stomp on the ground, a sure sign of warning. he was much older, and much more knowing of battles. yet this male was too a fighter in his eyes. he stood his ground. protecting his herd

fedha watched them and quickly charged towards them and then rolled over hitting the young foal on the leg

Mizaku watched the Zebra's happily. They seemed differently than all the prey beasts, these prey beasts were interesting, and kinda cool. He smiled briefly and padded closer to the herd, forgetting his presence would nto be appriciated. He lifted his head for a second and then ducked back into the grass.
Wow, I can't believe I'm getting so close. These Zebra are so big... the leopard said in his mind. He spotted the young Zebra, the one who seemed to be annoying an older one. His eyes darted from side to side, and he snuck around until he was in an uncovered area. Mizaku could be seeen easily now, so he remembered to do something his mother had tought him a while ago. He rasied his tail and flicked the tip of it back and ofrth in the air as a sign of no danger to the Zebra. Instead, he trotted a little closer to the young colt. Thought he was still a good 35 feet away.

Dhiki beamed at his acheivement, but soon realised what a commotion would start from the simple bite. He dashed through the grasess and unknowingly right by Mizaku. the yellow skink wa sun-aware of the leopard cub-- who was more a towering giant to him.

Fearing the cub might really be hurt, and knowing if he was, Msuko couldn't live with herself if she left the poor thing here, the bird hopped from her branch down to the ground. Hopping closer, and flapping her emerald and golden wings, Msuko called to the cub.

"Kree! Are you okay?" Now at the cub's feet, Msuko peered up at him with one sharp crimson eye. Something was different. Was the furry thing panicking?

It was Pakaa's initial idea to join a zebra herd - more bodies were better than two. They'll be picked off pretty easily if they continue like this. But when the leader of the herd bugles, coming awake in clear battle mode, all thoughts of that flee Pakaa, and the upstart young male curves his neck. A challenge! His blood courses gleefully through him, giving rise to that thrilling 'high' before a battle. But he does retain enough sense to turn towards the young colt.

"Chukizo, I want you to - Chukizo?"

The little striped black and white male has spotted the leopard cub out in the open, and happily darts towards it, ready to begin his 'lion-killing' career. Except this thing doesn't look like it's a lion. For one thing, it has spots. Leopard, must be! Or cheetah. They all look so similar to him. He frolics over, slowing as he gets closer. Okay. Now to figure out how to kill the thing. It's not overly-big, but it's bigger than he initially thought. That might present a problem.

"I-I don't know...do you know what happened?" he asked the small bird. "I feel like a ton of logs were just thrown on top of my body." He didn't want to frighten the little bird, and he had suspected that it must be his "problem" that had caused the blackout.

"AHHHHHHH!" he yelled..."I can't take this anymore!" He started to pace to maybe try and get his "problem" out of his head. What causes it is what he wants to know..and why did it have to happen to him. The answer to his problem was his mother. The blackouts started to happen after they were separated and he couldn't figure out why. He began to cry. He stopped pacing and sat down on the hard ground. "Why..?" he whimpered.

Mizaku sits quietly, watching as the zebra came closer. He wondered if it had the same interest in him as he had in it. His ears flicked from side to side, and he kept his tail in the air.
"...hey," the leopard says with a slight smile curling on his muzzle. He doesn't really know what else to say, hoping that the zebra could talk back to him.
