Naruto smiles and nods, holding her closer as he settles back down. It wouldn't hurt if they laid there until Rikku felt up to moving about again, he certainly wasn't complaining. He yawns again, his own fangs peeking out before he shuts his mouth again, setting his head down.

Rikku clung tightly to him, as she became heady with scent quickly in her drained state. Not that she could do anything about it, as tired as she was. So she dosed lightly while enjoying their closeness; listening to the sound of Naruto's heartbeat, the soft crackle of fire, & the boiling of water from the pot.
She lost track of time, laying there, until the smell of cooked breakfast mingled with other scents in the air causing a response from her empty belly. It gurgled a reminder & the Al Bhed giggled sheepishly. Tilting her head & inching up she pressed her lips to Naruto's hungrily. "Mmmm... breakfast." Rikku purred.

Naruto had fallen back into that state of being half way to the waking world and half way to the dreaming world. He never took his hold off Rikku though as they both dozed as breakfast cooked itself. He snaps out of it when he feels Rikku kiss him and he kisses her back, knowing his own stomach would make itself known and any type of kissing would result in a loud protest.
He sighs softly as he sits up with, getting ready to slip out of the sleeping bag, "Lets eat up and then get packed." he suggest, covering up another yawn.

"Good idea... I feel as if I could eat breakfast AND anything left over." Grinning she pops upright with her usual vigor & tweaks him on the nose.
Standing up Rikku stretched while bouncing (or is that bounced while stretching? ^_^), then leaned down to kiss Naruto's forehead where his ninja band usually was & ruffled his blonde hair fondly. With a giggle she bounced to the pot to get their breakfasts out, short skirt moving erratically to the motion.

Naruto huffs when his hair is ruffled, but he blushes and smiles when he is kissed. He may not like it when his hair was messed with, but with Rikku, he didn't mind at all really. He gets out of the sleeping bag, stretching himself and popping his neck. Once that is done, he follows after Rikku to the fire so they can eat, not seeing that her skirt was moving about in such a manner.

Smiling, Rikku hands him a plate with two omelets & fork on it as he joins her. "Eat up, Ruto! I don't want Moochi thinking I let you starve this weekend!"
Winking to show that her words were at least partially in jest, Rikku tried to eat her omelet like a burrito. Wincing a bit at the heat she set it back on the plate's edge & nibbled not-quite-so-daintily on the end until it was cool enough she could hold it in her hands. "Sorry for not making a more interesting breakfast, Naruto. I'm just not Mir you know!"

Naruto happily takes his plate and reachs into the back of his shorts and pulls out his chop sticks, already digging into his omelet. He chuckles at what Rikku said and smiles as he swallows a portion down, "You kidding, Moochi doesn't know how to make omelets really, so this is great!" But he wouldn't mind having a large bowl of cereal when he got back home!

Rikku finished her omelet & started munching on some of the left over graham crackers. "Well, tell you what... you show up at my place any morning & I'll make you breakfast whenever you want." She grinned impishly. "Although it's the one meal most of the family eats so the one we tend to share most often. Those who wake up early enough, that is."
Kissing his cheek she stood and started to put things away; starting with tossing the water from the pot over the fire.

Naruto blushs a litlte and chuckles over her kiss. It doesn't take him long to finish off his omelet and he puts the plate down and stands up and starts to get things ready to get packed up. He starts with their sleeping bags, unzipping them both from each other and rolling them up seperately. Once that is done, he sets them both by the hover cycle. Then he heads into the tent to pack up any clothing or accessories that was laying about in the tent.

Accustomed to quick packing from traveling combined with having recently packed everything to bring it along Rikku is very efficient at getting everything back together. Not having any firewood to lug back makes the load even smaller than before. It seems no time at all before everything is tied on the back of the hovercycle once more. Except the tent.
Standing in front of it Rikku stares at the tent with a look of consternation across her usually cheerful features. "Now why didn't Relm tell me anything about how to take it down?"

Naruto stands in front of the tent with Rikku, doned in his usual orange outfit as he looks at the tent. He scratchs his head, shrugging his shoulders, "I don't know, is there a button you gotta press or something to get it to go back to the way it was?" he asks, cause they sure as heck couldn't fold it down and stow it on the hover cycle!

"I don't know... I've been all over that tent & not seen any buttons." Rikku pout-wailed cutely. She did not notice the gray cat bounding through the field of flowers toward them, blue tips of his feathered ears poking out. Perun saw them however & casually made his way to them.
He rubbed across Rikku's ankles with a light purr, then sniffed at Naruto. The hunter placed his paws on the ninja's thighs to stand on his back legs, trying to sniff up underneath the waistband of the orange jacket. Rikku giggled at the sight. "Oh! Hello Perun! Checking up on us?" She teased the feather tailed cat.
"Mrrr-rrt." He answered in the negative with his nose buried in orange jacket. What is Azure's scent doing lingering on this one? Faded. Old. Days at least. Perun "whumph"ed lightly in disappointment before piercing Naruto with his deep blue gaze as if sizing the audio male up.

Naruto was quite surprised by the arrival of the FTC, but he can't help but chuckle when he sniffs underneath his jacket. "Hey, you didn't tell me you got an Feathered Tailed Cat as well!! He must be a Hunter, cause I don't think Azure would ever go this far from him! And what is with them wanting to go into my jacket, Azure does the same thing!" he says, looking down at the gray colored cat.

Hearing the name of the one he smelled the scent of Perun's ears perked up & he pawed forcefully with a "mrr-raowr" at the ninja's sleeve as if trying to tell him something or asking something about his female friend. Rikku chuckled sheepishly. "It hadn't come up." Leaning over she petted the hunter's head fondly. "Perun kinda showed up one day. Trelweny says he claimed us. Which makes since 'cause you can't keep him at home. Not like out HouseCats Jazzy & JB who don't even like to go outside."
Making a face at the tent Rikku muttered with strong feeling. "Oh, I wish it would just go down!"
Much to her surprise... it did. Even Perun turned to glance at the suddenly packed tent with mild interest before returning to paw at the ninja. Blinking the Al Bhed walked to the small package left behind as if in a daze. "Fayths..."

Naruto's eyes go wide as he watchs the tent pack itself up and go back to the size it was before Rikku had set it up, "Wow!!! Talk about stow and go!!!" He then looks down the meowing cat and he kneels down to get more on his level, giving him a smile, "Well, since this is my first time meeting you, my name is Naruto! Maybe you would like to my family's FTC's sometime, we have a hunter named Tsuki and a cute little girl named Azure!" he says smiling, not knowing that Perun had already met Azure and was trying to know about her.
