Removed from the equation? *He makes a noise. It's hard to tell whether it's a chuckle or a snort.* Yeah and where would they remove them to?

:::She sort of stared down at the bag of cherries she held, but didn't really look at them:::
Well...I for example... knew that if I mentioned anything, or gave any hint of knowing the things I do, I would have been removed from society. Instinutionalized, and likely processed if I was not adjusted eventually.

Precisely... all the things I've learned about what it once meant to be human. Not to mention the fact that science isn't entirely the only truth acknoledgable.
:::She thinks on this a moment, and her free hand finds its wany to her forhead:::
That ALONE shakes the foundaitons of our socities existance. I'm a threat to all the order that exists.

*The frown remains.*
*Luke doesn't say anything for a minute. He's remembering a woman with gray hair, dressed in blue. Cora's talking like she had that night. If it even was her. Through all the time he'd spent with her, he wasn't certain that it had been, not any more. It had started to feel like something that happened a long time ago. Maybe even to somebody else.*
*But here it was again. Another float in the coincidence parade. Well, was he going to do about it? Just stand on the curb and watch it run by? Luke sighed hard. Yeah and why not? He'd watched ones twice as big go past plenty of times already.*
*Yeah, and Cora thinks -she's- the one who's crazy. Luke tries not to think about it. There's nothing he can do about it. Especially not in a fruit market in 2002.*
*Luke tries to do just that.*
Yeah, well you're not alone in that one, babe. *He smirks and nods to the crowd.* You think all these people'd believe me if I started ranting and raving and promising free drinks in a Bar outside time.
I'd be wearing a different jacket after I was done, you know what I mean?

:::Once again, Cora really only got the general idea of what he was saying:::
Yes, they may not believe you about that...
:::She smiled sadly, and held up her apple, displaying it to him:::
But at least you can come back home to your time and enjoy things like these.
:::She bites into it:::

Yeah...
*snort* And if you think that's what's best about this place, just wait 'til tonight. You ain't seen nothing 'til you've seen Philly at night.
Speaking of which, you ready to get out of here?

Alright, let's hit it.
*Cora and Luke head out of the farmer's market and towards Luke's car. Along the way, they still make a few stops. Once for Luke at "What's On Tap?", so he can make some purchases. They stop at Starbucks, so Cora can have her first Latte.*
*They get back into the car around six in the evenings. The sun is low in the sky, bathing the streets in a custardy light that looked a little surreal, even for Philly.*
Okay, that it? *Luke checks.* No more last minute stops? *He gets out his keys and puts the fruit in the back with the wine, the flowers, and his bag from "What's on Tap"*

Well, we gotta go back and get ready to go out. Besides, I have to stop by the House. I've got something they might like to see.
*Luke hits a button, the hazards flash, and the car doors are unlocked. He gets inside, puts on his seatbelt and starts up the car.*

Really? What is it?
:::Cora opens the door, and hesitates getting in the car... it's extra hard with the coffee she's holding. She forgot to watch Luke doing it so that she could copy him. Once again, she puts her head in the door first, using one hand on the seat to balance herself as she gets in, and the other to hold the cup:::

Thank you.
:::She says in a muffled sort of way when Luke takes the coffee... she's still adjusting herself so that she can sit the way Luke is. Once again it takes her a moment. But she finally gets comfortable. She thinks about the seatbelt after notcing that as the difference between what Luke is doing and what she is doing. She fiddles with it, and eventually gets it strapped:::
Alright. :::She says huffing, in a sense of completion of her task:::

Good job. *meaning her getting into the car* You did a lot better this time.
*Luke looks behind him and backs out of the parking space. Before long they're back on the road, and cruising down the highway at a smooth 86 miles per hour.*
