-It took her long enough, to finally make her way into the bar room, a semi-dazed look on her face. In fact, it took her several long moments to realize both Taryn and Duellist were near. Lucky for him, she couldn't remember anything about the shooting/attack or she'd probably throw a fit. Would she, really? No. In fact, her understanding nature was something else that didn't sit well with 'momsey and daddy' or anyone else in the Pride.
With a faint smile she waved at the two, sluggish steps leading her behind the counter.- hot cocoa?

Slayer the Fallen Yes, yes, Reiki is sure you are! Come Black Knight! There is much to discuss. *Reiki squeezed himself inbetween to two, his voice clearly showing signs of impatience. All of this mushy stuff was sickening. Grabbing hold of Sirus's hand, the kid dragged the hunter down the stairs, out of sight...* *Sirus pulled his arm away from Reiki, glaring at the kid with a burning hatred.* W-why you arrogant, foul-mouthed, br-Nah ah ah. *Reiki's finger pressed against Sirus's lips, effectivly silencing the elder man.* Such words are not neccessary. Not right now at any rate. Besides, you know what Reiki would do to you if he actually let you finish. Yes, you should know. Reiki is, after all, of the Unseen Hand. *His gaze fell upon his right arm, which seemingly enough, looked harmless. Sirus knew better though. As the young demon hunter had correctly surmised, he had, if fact, done quite a bit of research on his fellows. Such knowledge was needed in battle when two or more demon hunters worked together. It was to ensure that none of them got in each other's way. Reiki's upbeat voice interrupted.* Now that that's out of the way. You must help Reiki kill the ghostie!Why should I possibly help you?Because if you don't, then history might repeat itself and certain people you care so much about will surely suffer as those have done in the past.*Sirus's face began to turn pale.* ...Very well. What have you got planned? *His eyes narrowed.* Well, after Reiki has gathered a big enough party, we shall go forth and set up a trap for the ghostie. Of course, you'll know what comes next. *The kid gave a wink.* What kind of trap?Oh just a human sacrifice...What?!? No, that's too risky! If we do that then...((Whew. Remind me to kill one of them off if this keeps up. sweatdrop ))

Duellist Duellist looked disappointed, but nodded anyway. Unlike most men in his position, he was well aware how much smarter Taryn was than him. 'You know best, I'm sure...' the vampire said, smiling. He turned to Mimi, and smiled a perfect, human, smile. "Um... none for me, thank you... and I really think that Taryn should get some blood from the freezer..." He stated, politely, yet firmly. -The girl sighed, offering another one of those meek smiles as she flipped open the small fridge next to the bar. Good thing she'd brought a couple of bags in here since she fed Reik days ago. Already there were nothing more than two bags left. It was as if she were on automatic pilot then, reaching overhead to pull out a delicate long-stemmed flute as she pulled out a pair of scissors from nearby. After having placed a coaster on the well-polished surface of the counter, and the flute atop it, she proceeded to cut a corner of the bag and let its ruby contents fill it. After having pushed the container closer to them, she paused.- Did you just say it was for Taryn?

"I'm glad you can admit that." Taryn grinned, then turned her smile to Mimi, and shook her head. "No thanks... And," She turned to meet Duellist's eyes. "I'm fine. I already said that." She scowled, but not seriously, the wrinkled her nose. "I'm not hungry... Or thirsty, or... Whatever."
