Standing up the control orbs of thr ship vanished. Walking over to Maki he put his arm around her waist to keep her from falling.

"I know Maki, its alright. If it happened then that is what fate had in store. This story has only just begun, what happens in the end is still up to us"

Looking down at Make he could tell she was very weak

"Maki you need to rest"

Fira slightly opened her eyes and looked up at Tenshin as he spoke to her, "No, no harm done to me. Yet at least you have the guts to say your sorry even though you don't need to. I've just found it's a rare word for me to hear anymore. But thank you anyway." She pushed herself up into a straiter sitting position to keep her awake as he watched Tenshin walk over to Maki. She was a little shocked by the coldness toward Maki from Tenshin, and even through she wanted to help with the tense situation she didn't get involved, simply because it was just her nature.

As Maki looked at the stranger she noticed simular features to Shinja. She leaned closer while holding on to Zetsuei and placed her hand on his cheek.

"Yes... I can see the resemblence. He never spoke much about his past but he did mention having a son," she said her voice growing weak. "You shouldn't be cold to people."

For some reason Maki laughed a little, a first time since her travels with Shinja.

"Else I would have thought you and Kyana were related," she said coughing. Some of the blackend blood splattered on her lips as she coughed and embarrisingly she quickly wiped it off and looked away. "Sorry. I'm ... rather sick. Forgive me. I haven't laughed like that since me and Shinja set off on our own adventures exploring Shadow Island."

The strain was getting to be much and she felt weak, then she remembered the flask she put in her belt. The coolness of the liquor Shinja kept inside it kept her wound from throbbing too badly.

"Um... here. This was Shinjas ... we shared it in the darkness but I think you should have it," she said removing it from her belt and held it out for Tenshin to take. "He always kept it near him even when we traveled. He thought we never saw him sneak sips from the flask but the truth was ... we didn't want to make a big deal of it. We sort of knew he had it but didn't question him."

As her knees trembled Maki held on to Zetseui fearing she was about to fall again.

"Zetsuei? Can you help me to my room? I'm too tired to walk back down," she said turning to hug his neck to keep from falling.

Slowly picking Maki up, Zetsuei began to walk back into the elevator and with a press of a button they began to go down to the living quarters.

"Maki, I am going to leave for a little bit to go back to Shadow Island. There is something there I need to do, Im not strong enough in my present state. Shinja's brother Sett is stronger than I entacipated, and if we are to encounter more of his minions I will need to be stronger. When I get back I may not look like I am now but I will still be me."

As the elevator doors opened Zetsuei stepped out and walked down the hallway untill he got to Maki's room and placed her on the bed and sat in a chair at the bed side.

"Are you ok with me leaving for a while?"

Standing up and grabbing the flask which the doctor had given him, Zetsuei handed it to Maki.

"Take this if you ever start to feel the illness coming back, it will supress the pain and the orbs power untill we find the Phoenix temple."

Walking to the door he turned around and looked at her

"I will try to not be long, when I come back this will be the first place I will come"

Turning around, he closed the door behind him and walked back into the elevator.

As the elevator door opened Zetsuei stepped out and walked into the control room and over to Tenshin.

" I have to go back to Shadow island for a bit, there is something I need to do there but I will return with haste once I am finished. While I am gone, I would like it if you watched over Maki, she is still very weak. I gave her a potion which will supress the orbs power when she drinks a sipp of it. "

With his wings forming out of his back, they took a quick stretch then foldedback along his back

"The sooner I leave the sooner I get back, so Im going to be leaving now"

Walking to the side door he opened it and stepped out onto the ships deck and jumped off the side and spread his wings.

Flying away from the airship Zetsuei headed towards Shadow island. He knew he had to be quick but wasnt sure if he could do this quickly. Flapping his wings faster and faster he gained speed.
