I just found this..
Why won't you guys make Clark and Chloe an official romantic couple? What's holding you back? I guess I'm just frustrated from years of hoping and wishing and longing. — Clear227
Gough: Clark and Chloe are always going to be the closest of friends. Romance might spoil that. Not to mention Jimmy — she's really stolen his heart. How could we do that to him?

Urghhh. Even if a showed a video of the producers saying there was no not going to be a Chlark then she would still believe.

Thank you VERY much for seeing it my way Clue. Things change. When Producers are writing an episode, new problems arise in every new one, so they need to find a way to get them selves out of it... situations DO arise. I don't give up that easy, you should know that by now.

I think they'll keep the possibility open, but I doubt they'll actually "go there".
They do just enough to keep all shipper camps watching, if not happy. No more, no less.

They could quite possibly do something with Chlark and just because Al Gough said that there probably weren't doesn't mean the Chloe is being ignorant. Just like I'm not ignorant for hoping that Lexana doesn't break up (though it will) and just like Clue isn't ignorant for wanting Clana back together. (even though I really hate the couple!)

I mean heck Al Gough and Miles Millar also said that they might even be considering a season 8... which would be absolutely amazing IMO, which leaves plenty of comfort room for Chlark. I have been holding true to Chlark for a while and I have no intentions of giving up now...
