[An island? I could make that thread! xD Erm, unless there's already one somewhere. xP Isn't there a cove or something? They could stumble upon that.]
"Oh, it is?" Kai laughed, touching the top of his own head after Skylar had poked it. He watched as she dove back under, then submerged himself to see what she was doing. He blinked as he saw the fish swim past, and frowned slightly as she began swimming off. He started after her, wondering to himself where she was going. He didn't know this area too well. What if they got too far out, grew tired, and then couldn't find a place to rest? But still, he couldn't help but follow her through the water, also traveling below the surface.
[The size of my siggy's been bothering me for a while, and today it suddenly dawned on me... I have an animation program! xD;;]

Skylar rose back up, needing a breath of air. She gasped in a lung full, before looking around, trying to see what was around them. Up ahead, though, seemed to be an island. "Was that.... always there?" she asked herself softly, trying to see if there were any houses or anything on it; apparently, there wasn't. It almost looked uninhabited. She was suddenly filled with a burst of curiousity as she waited for Kai befor she'd start towards it. She looked down, seeing her feet faintly in the blue water, another school of fish swimming under her; she didn't even know how deep the floor was under her.

[Hm... It says you get to the cove by way of an off shore island. So... both? xD It really doesn't matter to me. ^^;]
Kai blinked as she rose upwards, then slowly followed after her. He popped up just behind her and stared over her head towards the island, tilting his own head slightly as he gazed at it. Then he glanced back at her, smirking slightly. "You want to check it out?" he asked, though he had a fairly good idea that she would agree. But still, he paused, just hovering in the water behind her as he waited for a response, turning to look back at the island every now and then. He looked sharply down as something brushed against it foot, but relaxed as he noted it was a straggler from the school of fish that'd just passed by.
[Ah, I'd feel pretty weird making my own thread. xP]

Koichi stood by the edge of the water, his shirt already removed and hanging on a tree branch not to far along with his towel and shoes. His hands rested in his trunks pockets as he looked out at the sea, seeing two people in the distance. One of the, no doubtedly, was Skylar; he could not only sense her, but he could tell her- somehow- a mile away. "I've found you," he said softly, smirking to himself as some of his dirty blonde hair fell into his face, "after so long, I can finally hear your voice again."
He narrowed his eyes, however, trying to see who else was with her. Suddenly, he couldn't help but take a slight step back, shocked. Was... was that another guy with her? No way- no way would she do that to him, right? Hadn't she known all along about him, about what was going to happen? Or did she forget? he thought, frowning as he removed his hands from their shelter before clenching them. Within a moment, he'd dove into the water, starting towards the two, although it would take a slight while to catch up to them. I won't allow something like that, he thought angerly.

Skylar looked over her shoulder, hearing him. She nodded, though, wanting to go. "You sure it's alright with you?" she asked softly, swimming closer to him; the waves, again, were taking her slowly but steadily farther out. "It doesn't look like anyones there, too," she continued, looking back over at it again. She was more positive than ever that no one lived on that island, although wheither anyone had been there was beyond her knowledge. J'aime le voyage, she thought, smiling faintly to herself, avec Kai. Je ne veux rien autrement.

[Haha, nice to meet you! I'm getting the idea our characters won't be too happy though. xP]
Kai nodded, smiling softly. "Yes, I'm sure," he nodded, absently clenching his right hand in the water. It was feeling a bit numb, tingling slightly, but he didn't let Skylar know. Instead he pushed it off and tried to ignore it, distracting himself with the fact she'd moved closer. He reached out, arm hovering just around her so she wouldn't be swept off by a current. "Ready to go?" he asked as he drifted towards the island, then paused again to wait for her.

Skylar nodded her head before gently swimming towards it. Within a few moments, she knew, they could just stand there and wait for the waves to take them in, or walk onto the island and explore the land before the outside of the island; they weren't, after all, too far off from the islands shore. "Kai, are we going to continue around the island, or would you rather go up on land first?" she questioned, looking to her left towards him; she hoped his wounds didn't hurt to much. If they did, though, she wouldn't mind getting up onto the land; they healed them, but she didn't want Kai to be hurting.

Koichi grunted, diving under the waves as they came towards him; it was as though he had a surf board under him. He continued to swim, trying his best to catch up to them. He didn't, however, go at a fast speed; if he got too tired, he'd be stranded out there and would never catch up to the two. Skylar... how could you? he thought, shutting his eyes as a small peak of ocean sway threatened to crash into his eyes. I thought... he couldn't help but stroke a little faster, continuing to think; he couldn't believe at all what was happening in front of him. Even after Kage had confirmed everything. Didn't he tell her? Doesn't she know? he questioned, Or does she not believe it?

[I meant Kai and, um... Koichi. He seemed kinda surprise. >>;;]
Kai listened to Skylar's question, but kept his eyes focused upon the island. He remained silent for a moment and then nodded towards it. "Land," he said, glancing back at her. "It'd be more interesting, wouldn't it?" Honestly, he was worrying a bit about the numbness in his hand, which he was now feeling in his chest as well. If he had a chance to escape the water and dry his wounds a bit, he wasn't going to pass it up. Well, unless Skylar said she'd rather explore the water.

Skylar nodded her head, agreeing. After a few more minutes of swimming, they had finally reached the shelf of land. She felt the sand under her feet, a few rocks as well. She stood up, but was suddenly tumbled foward from a wave; she continued tumbling until she finally landed safe on the shore, looking up at the sky. "That... hurt," she laughed, the waves continuing to wash over her when they came high enough. She wondered, though, if Kai had been caught in the drift as well, but hoped he wouldn't; that'd probably agrivate his wounds even further.
[[i skipped ahead some... so, my next post will be on the cove thing... I guess? and Al says she probably will finish up on the ocean next post or two... xD]]

Koichi continued swimming, about at the area where he'd first seen the two bob up. He didn't stop, however; he had a long way to travel before he was even close to the two. Can't give up... Can't let her go, he thought, his eyes still narrowed, following the boys head as he continued with Skylar towards the island. He felt something brush against his foot, but continued kicking onwards; he had to make it to that island, and soon. If he didn't, he knew, not only would it turn dark but that boy would be with Skylar all alone. He shut his eyes, stopping for a moment- he couldn't even think about that. He leaned foward, starting once again toward the two.

[Oh man, I'm getting nervous. xD;;]
Kai drifted after her, pausing as he felt land. He slowly got to his feet, turning as he heard the approaching wave. He blinked and quickly dug his feet into the sand. When it hit him, he wobbled slightly, but managed to stay upright. He had placed his hand over his chest and the soaking bandages there, but quickly removed it as soon as he realized. He glanced at Skylar and hurried towards her, offering a hand to help her up. "Are you ok?" he asked, trying to supress a chuckle.

Skylar laughed, looking up at him, taking his hand to help her up. "I'm fine," she smiled, wipping the sand off her clothes. "Oysh, my clothes are soaked," she said, pulling her shirt with two fingers before releasing it; it seemed to just snap back and either sag or stick to her body. "See, you're not wearing a shirt, so it doesn't matter," she laughed, poking above the bandages. "Speaking of which, you okay?" she asked, having seen him touch his stomach out of the corner of her eyes.

[Gah, sorry about delays and stuff. I'm in way too many places at once. ><;;]
Kai helped her too her feet, tilting his head in amusement at the noise she made before speaking about her shirt. Then he laughed, shaking his head slightly. "Well, I can't swim in a shirt," he said with a shrug. "It drives me crazy." He blinked as she poked him, then nodded his head. "Yep! Perfectly alright." He said it without a doubt, though he was still nervous about the tingling. It's just because of the salt water, he told himself. Then he glanced around the island, hoping to change the subject. "So, ready to explore?" he grinned.

"Yup!" Skylar smiled, starting foward before stopping on a small dirt path that was somehow there. She turned around and laughed, waiting for him to come. "Exploring this place will be fun, won't it?" she asked, feeling her clothes starting to dry, but ever so slowly. The sun, however, seemed to have risen in the sky, now almost at the area's zenith. The heat started to beat down on them, reradiating from the sand and causing the heat to increase more; although, however, it wasn't even to hot to start with.
