"That's a lovely family reunion," Mistress said dryly. She did not consider the Tategami to be a particularly perfect clan, but rather rough, uncouth and many more. "Get away before I punish you for bursting in like that. A teacher will come shortly. In the meantime, socialise with your brother, buy him ramen... whatever."
However Mistress knew when not to be mean. For when she turned to Batosai she was keenly aware that she couldn't be dismissing to everyone. And this boy looked like a fine warrior.
"Hitokiri Batosai?" she asked, and there was a hint of a smile on her pale lips. "I love the name. Welcome to our ranks."
And finally, Vesimine. "I'm sorry that our conversation has to be so disjointed like this, but, as you can see, the life of a Kage is busy. To answer your question, though, my secretary is just downstairs. He helps people settle in by giving them apartments, and doing their papers for them."
The life of a Kage was so busy. It was only the first day and yet Mistress was already getting tired of it. Hopefully this was part of the settling in and the village would soon run itself.

Hiro pushed Rhiko out the door gently and turned to Mistress. "If your such a big shot why dont you be my teacher hot stuff. Or is all your talk just for not?" Hiro said knowing this was going to hurt in a few seconds, but diplomacy was not in his blood.

Sanabi felt chills run up and down his spine when the mistress spoke up. He peered around at her, wishing he wasn't there. He didn't like her, but he would never say anything to her face. His blood froze in place when Hiro said what he did. His eyes looked desperately at Hiro, trying to see what he was thinking, Is he crazy? I know he's the clan leader, but I couldn't see him being strong enough to fight her and win, so why is he saying such things? ((um... typo... it's Sanabi... not Rhiko.))

[OOC: This character is on crack. Her rank and stats are one of the highest in this guild and yet she is the only one of my characters to get 20s. WTF? D:]
Mistress sighed. "Excuse me," she said to Batosai and Vesimine, and nodded at Haru, "this will take only a short while." She left it up to Haru whether to follow her or not although she honestly wouldn't mind if he didn't.
Once out of her office, door shut behind her, Mistress said coldly, with an icy glare, "For your information, lion boy, I was going to be your teacher. But a certain Wolvine ANBU under my service begged me not to - ah, what was the word again? - 'corrupt' him. So I have decided to pass this duty on to another jounin, luckily perhaps for you. This jounin is just settling in though and you wouldn't want to make her uncomfortable would you? Especially when you've just reunited with your long lost relative, I take it?"

As usual Haru did follow Mistress. He was always at her side just as Denku used to be before he decided to explore Kiri. Haru kept silent, since he had returned, waiting for a command. Every moment that passed gave Haru time to think. He was realizing that Mistress wasn't much of the tyrant as she used to be but she was still strong as hell. Perhaps she just needed a reminder of how to treat the vermin of this city. Stories had traveled that people were more terrified of the fire master than they were of Mistress. His city was on lock down and the people were too terrified to leave their homes.

Hiro fell back in fear at first he tried to speak but nothing came out. He took a breath and smiled a weak smiling trying to hide his fear but failing. "I am not afraid of anything." Hiro was clearly lieing and it was showing. He was more scared now then he had ever been in his life. "Since when do you listen to Karite. I think you might be losing your touch. Why dont you teach me anyway."

Mistress shrugged. "If you really must know, as an ANBU he is an integral part of the village. I am fair. I take my subordinates' opinions into concern. Based on how important they are to the village." This was clearly meant to imply that Hiro Tategami was not.
"Go," she said with an air of finality. "I keep my word. I will send a notice to both you and the jounin when I feel calm enough. And to answer your question, I have better things to do." Her eyes were twitching. It was the ultimate blow, but just seeing the Tategami made her boil inside. "Haru, please escort them out," she finally said trying to keep her composure. And as always her rational side won and she turned her back on them, walking back into her office.
"Sorry for the delay," she said to the two children, her face now neutral. It was obvious that she was a little peeved off but she wouldn't blow up in front of them.

Sanabi was frozen with fear, he had already been afriad before, but now he couldn't move at all. Even his eyes would barely chance at makeing thier way back towards the mistress. He did however, look to his older brother,(which is now how he saw him) for strength, but found little. He didn't blame Hiro though, but he did cringe at what he said, He would actually WANT her to teach him?! I would be dead before she had any more control and influence on me!
Sanabi was scared, but he didn't like the idea his leader was being slighted. It was obvious to tell what she ment by her comments, but he held his toung as to avoid trouble. He took the lead from Hiro, and opened then held the door for him, hoping that he would leave without much more trouble.

Hiro stood before Haru came forward. It seemed he had caused himself enough shame here. "If she really thinks that I am worthless to this village she will see that I have only begin to walk my path. I will become Kage one day. I swear it." Hiro said lightly grabbing Sanbai's shoulder and leading him out towards the beach to see Karite.

Sanabi frowned towards the mistress, then looked back at Hiro. He listened intently to his mumbling, and spoke quietly back to them as he walked out the door, "You're not worthless. The only thing she thinks is worth anything, is herself and her vision. You could beat any ninja in this viliage if you wanted." With that, Sanabi went quiet and followed Hiro. [[Exit to Beach]]

Vesimine watched the happenings with wide, child-like eyes completely facinated by the way these people interacted with one another. Finally when all had left but the Kage and Haru Vesimine couldn't help it and doubled over in laughter. Her arms cluched her sides and tears made their way out of her eyes and though some clung to her lashes most sped down her cheeks to drop onto the cold floor. She was gasping and the joyous tinkling of her giggles chimed for a solid few minutes before some sence could be gained to the young poison user. "I'm te-e-erib-bly s-sorry," She gasped out. "I-I just - there was s-so m-many emotions and p-people k-kept chang-ging s-s-so s-suddenly. I-It was c-c-completely irrational." She wiped the tears from her eyes as she regained her barrings.
(OOC) What is the name of your secritary Kouri? I kind of need to know how to talk to them if I'm going to get situated.

Mistress smiled at the girl. One could quickly learn that as long as you were in Mistress' favour you could get away with anything. Short of betraying the village.
"Well, it's getting late," she said lightly. "If you want to get to bed in time for academy tomorrow, you will have to see my secretary quickly so that he can arrange for you. He is just downstairs."

Downstairs, meanwhile, Batou was getting ready to pack up. It was close to 8 o clock when his shift would end. Just 10 more minutes... although he had admittedly skived off like 3 hours this afternoon.. but.. whatever...

"Thank you Kage-sama. I will head down to speek with your secritary now." She spoke calmly after her outburst and headed for the door. Once she had reached her shortly found destination she realized she knew the man that was the Kage's secritary. "Hello Batou-san its nice to see you. I'm here as the Kage sent me to find where I will be staying. I would also like to know who my teacher will be at the acadamy and what time I will need to wake up at so I can arrive at the acadamy in a timely manor." She smiled softly pleased to see a fermilier face.
(OOC) Thanks Kouri I can't wait till I start the acadamy!

The half gypsy half Japanese man turned in surprise. "Ah, so it's you Fuyu-san," he said with an easy smile. "I hope you're feeling a lot better!" Listening to her requests he nodded. "Indeed... well, it'll be easy for me to rack you up with an apartment, they're almost all empty and all. How does number 5-F sound to you?" he asked casually. "I'll give you the keys and all. And here are your papers for the academy," he said, extending his hand to give it to her. But then he stopped.
"Saay.. I'm meeting your teacher after this, so maybe I should just give it to him myself. Or do you still want to? And I could totally treat you to dinner. As for stuff about the academy, your teacher can fill you up on that, if you come of course." Batou's tone was welcoming and he almost sounded excited, ready to introduce her to his best friend.

"Thanks 5-F sounds wonderful. I'm finally starting to get ... well settled isn't really the right word but I guess I'm closer now." She smiled easily. "I would love to come and dinner sounds great! I just got a general look around today so I don't really know many people or things yet as far as the village is concerned." She looked down at the paper work. "Ummm...what exactly am I supose to do with this." She gestured to it vegly.
