Rayla frowned and poked at Kris' arm. She crossed her arms and sighed.
"Do you...feel any different..? Maybe you're....still developing...half of you..."
She bit her lip and stepped out of the bathroom. She leaned to one side and sighed.
"As one side of you emerges....you might see some side effects....I'm guessing...that the super hero... isn't fully developed yet...and is causing a little tension...with the human half."
She laid down on the ground and frowned. It might seem strange that she knows a little about half breeds. She bit her lip again and called back to Kris.
"...Thats only... a guess... of course.."

Kris walked over, and sat down next to Rayla. "Well, I have been experiencing these mood swings...one minuet I'm my regular self, and the next, I'm looking to kill something."
Putting her hands behind her head, she laid down. "Somehow...if feels like there's a battle of good vs. evil going on inside me."

Rayla sighed and stared at the ceiling.
"Yeah...I know the feeling..."
She turned on her side and smiled, nudging Kris lightly.
"I like...talking to you. It might seem dumb...but i feel like... we have a connection..."
She sat up and hugged her knees. She rocked back and forth lightly and stood up, brushing herself off. She laid over the arm of a chair and sighed.
"So...now what..."

Kris gave out one of her genuine smiles. "Well, let's hope I don't get too bloodied up tonight, eh?"
She scratched her head for a bit. "And thanks for telling me that. I feel the same way. You're always so calm and collected...it makes life a little less hectic."

Rayla giggled a bit and rolled off the chair.
"Me? Calm? Are you kidding? I get scared...when someone enters the room..."
She kicked her feet in the air a few times and sighed. She sat back on the chair and smiled.
"But...thanks... for the attempted compliment..."

He yawned as he walked out into the hallways. "Man, I slept like a log." He yawned again as he ran a hand over his face. He placed his hands behind his head as he walked with half closed eyes down the hallway.

Rayla giggled lightly and shrugged.

She bit her lip and stood up. She walked around for a moment and turned back to Kris.
"I have a question...just out of... curiousity."
She sighed and leaned against the wall, tapping her fingers on the wall.
"If you could....would you stop being... a halfbreed...and just be....normal..?"

"Yes, compared to me, you're the calmest person on this boat!" Kris broke out into laughter, but then quieted down.
"Stop being a halfbreed? Be normal? Hell no. I hate normal. Normal people are just going to go through life like it's a chore. But there's those special people who take life, and live it like an adventure. I wouldn't give this up for the world."

Rayla sighed and smiled at Kris. Maybe...its not as bad as i thought. No one cared that Kris is a halfbreed, shes still just Kris... She went over and leaned over the chair.
"I wish... i was as brave...as you were..."
She sighed and twirled a few strands of hair around her finger. She smiled at Kris.
"It looks....like your good side...is winning. I'm still...caught inbetween.."

"Rayle, you are brave. There's many types of bravery, ya know. I'm just hot-headed and stubborn, and always fights for what I think is right. You'll find out soon enough for yourself...when the time comes."
Kris rolled around on the ground, resting her head in her hands. "Not technicaly. I'm guessing that when I'm angry, the bad comes out, as what happened before with me threatining you. And what do you mean by that? Are you a halfbreed also?"
She smiled broadly. "Because even if you have superpowers, a tail, wings, whatever, I'll still accept you as who you are. You're still the same person, so why should I think any differently of you?"

Rayla smiled weakly at Kris.
"Thanks...."
She bit her lip and laid down on the couch. Busted...oh well, were both the same. Its not like it matters to her. I'm just paranoid...yeah..
"...I'm... a halfbreed too...not... through parents though..."
She took off her hat and flipped her hair around. Her ears twitched and she turned away. She shifted uncomfortably and let her tail hang out the back of her jeans.
"They're...not natural....I didn't want the others...to think i was too strange..."

"Strange? I think they're flipping sweet. You shouldn't be scared about letting them show. I'm sure that everyone else would feel the same way."
Bringing herself into a sitting posisition, Kris softly laughed. "To be quite honest, I'm jealous. One of my very few memories as a kid was that I always wanted to be part cat...Hightened senses, better reflexes...good balance...you're lucky."
