"Well now would be your chance" Samuel said as he grabbed her hand and rushed to the edge of the statue. He had to get Leelan to safety...
"Like icarus we fly only to plummet to the ocean below, a grand exit to make even the birds jealous!" Samuel said as he jumped off the edge of the statue, pulling Leelan off with him. They plummeted toward the ocean, Samuel holding her close to protect her from the impact.

Leelan clings to him closing her eyes. "Wow we're going so fast, Im afraid to look."
(this reminds me of Edward and Bella in twiliight)

Samuel, with Leelan in his arms, plummeted into the water. Samuels left shoulder was first to collide with the water, dislocating his shoulder. Before the pain coursed through his body, Samuel blacked out...
...5 minutes later he awoke gasping for the air he had been denied when he submerged into the cold ocean depths. Just barely being able to move he clutched Leelans hand and pulled her to the top of the water. He used all the strength he had to swim them both to the nearest land at the base of the statue. He was bruised and swollen all over from the impact, his head was in serious pain and his shoulder was dislocated all from the impact. He popped his shoulder back into place and cringed. He would be fine and almost fully healed in a day or two, being a vampire had its benefits...
"Please help me get home miss Leelan." Samuel requested with a smile.

Leelan gets up on her knees and gently rubs his head. "I"ll take you back to my place its closer and i have medical sluppies to takecare of you with."

Vivian came down a concrete path in the park area around the Statue it was about 6pm. Her headphones blairing with fast paced music. She had not run in such a long time as a matter of fact since before she got on the ship back to new york. She had begun to build up a good workout jogging around the park. She had passed a few humans going about thier buisness a few just lounging and some college students working with thier laptops. Come to think about it I have not changed to my were form in ages, I bet it would feel nice.

"Well, glad to see your feeling better," Jack said.
He sat, perched on a tree, staring at Vivian with a smile. He looked around to see if anyone was staring at him. No one paid attention. He quickly jumped to the ground and onto the path. He sighed quietly as he dusted himself off.
"Would have waited to see how you were doing at your apartment but... well, let's just say I wasn't necessarily wanted there. Would have caused a riot."

Vivian slowed to a stop as she saw Jack land in front of her on the path. She took out her earbuds from her ears and held them in her right hand. "Are you following me Jack?"

"You know, even I don't know at this point. I'd say it's a string of coincidences, but some higher power seems to be working this one out."
He chuckled quietly. He sat down on the ground, now smiling. He looked at her with some relief. He couldn't stay with her and Prometheus after she collapsed. It was good that he could see that she was fine now.
"But in all honesty... I saw you... and I thought I'd see if you were doing any better. I'd say it looks like it."

Jack grunted quietly as he got back to his feet and quickly got behind her. Soon, he started to jog at the pace Vivian was. He looked around, giving a brief observation of his surroundings. It was an empty night, that was for certain.
"I'm curious though, what happened to you down there at the club? That didn't seem normal. Then again, none of us are normal, are we?"

Vivian stopped abruptly and turned down her music. "I dont know what happened ok? I was just drunk." Vivian put her hands on her hips then turned to face Jack who was on the her left side.

"Listen, ma cushala, I'm part Irish. I know what drunk is and..."
He froze himself after he realized what he said. He stopped his words and decided to think about what he was going to say. He knew that what wasn't about to come out were his thoughts, but he figured he might as well say it. He chuckled quietly as he crossed his arms.
"I supposed it looked like you had one to many."
He looked towards her and smiled. He stretched his arms out as he began to walk backwards a few steps.
"It's your life... you know what's going on best after all when things happen to you."

Vivian's brow creased as she lsitened to what he said. "What did you call me?" she took a step forward in his direction as he took one back. There was something very weird going on. Ugh I just wanted a normal night out! "And what do you mean it "Looked" like I had to many." Jack had walked off the path and under a large tree it really was unwise of her to get out of sight with a vampire so many things could go wrong.
