Koichi just sat back in his chair, relaxing, as he took a half of a bagel that seemd to have been abandoned. He started eating it, looking completely not interested in even eating it- although he didn't stop- as another person seemed to get up and leave the table. Their whole stay seemed to have ended at this, and he couldn't help but remembr each day; my, what one interesting vacation they'd taken. Although, it did have its laughs.

[Delay. Dx]
Kana finished her pancake slowly and then pushed her plate a little away. It's a good thing she did too, because soon she began swaying in place, rocking gently side to side, before suddenly falling forward. She froze though, right before her head hit the table, but instead of straightening afterwards, just let herself continue falling, more slowly now, until the side of her head was resting upon it. Her ears flattened back as she closed her eyes, just sitting there slumped forward with her hands in her lap and her tail around her waist now. There was a multitude of things now, that just made her feel like not moving today.

[don't worry about it. Take your time ^.^ :ish on k/jpop music forums: whoops; sorry. xP I was reading something about a band and forgot to post ><]
"Eh?" Kazan said, looking to her side as she suddenly saw Kana moving. "Are you still sleepy?" she asked her friend as she gently put a hand on her head, as thought trhin to see if she'd react. Koichi peered over, backing himself up on the chair slightly, leaning on the two back legs, watching Kana. He arched his eyebrows, as though questioning what was wrong; when no answer came, though, he dropped the little part of his bagel he had and pushed himself from the table before walking calmly to Kana. He pulled her chair out, slipping his hands under her knees and behind her back before lifting her up and starting towards the door, leaving Kazan to finish her breakfast.
[sleepy head xD]

[I'm feeling sleepy too, so it's easy to role play. xD;;]
Kana wrinkled her nose slightly as she felt Kazan touch her head, but otherwise didn't move at all, except for an occassional twitching of her ears or flick of her tail. She bit back another yawn, her eyes widening suddenly as she felt herself being lifted up. She peered up at Koichi and then sighed, her eyes sinking closed again. "I'm sorry..." she said faintly, her voice just a whisper. She knew she was acting very strange right now, but she couldn't seem to help herself. She frowned slightly as she shut her eyes more tightly, both her hands clasping the necklace that rested at the base of her neck.

[hahah. nice job, kaori-chan.]
Koichi just shook his head, making a left once he reached the doorway, although he knew she wasn't watching. "Don't be silly. You're just exhausted, I'm guessing. No need to appologize," he answered back, making his way down the hallways; he was trying to decide where she should stay until they left. The courtyard, duh, he thought to himself, hooking a right as he started down another hallway.

Kana shook her head slowly, but didn't say anything for a while. She just remained completely silent, like she actually was drifting in and out of sleep. She was really just falling into short dazes where she seemed to temporarily forget where she was, and was just completely out of it. Her tail flicked lightly against her side as she shifted slightly, but hopefully not enough to make him drop her or anything. She was still feeling guilty about last night, yet here he was, carrying her around like nothing had happened. It was... confusing to her. She had honestly expected him to get mad.

Koichi stopped, walking down the two steps onto the grass of the courtyard, the fountain pouring crystal drops lightly, birds chirping somewhere over head. He sighed as he sat down on the first step, shifting Kaori so she was sitting in his lap, although still sideways, before allowing her head to rest on his shoulder. "You know, if you were this tired, we would have just waited till before we left to wake you up," he said simply, cocking his head slightly to the side so he could see her face before shaking his head softly, looking over at the fountain overflowing with water.

Kana remained silent for a moment, before speaking faintly again. "I'm sorry..." she sighed quietly, biting her lip again. She snuggled her face into his shoulder almost before realizing what she was doing, her face flushing faintly red as she did. She fell silent again for a second more, just listening to their surroundings, and then sighed yet again, her ears drooping a bit. "I have to go home soon," she said softly, her eyes shutting even more tightly and her tail winding around her waist. "Just for a visit." Her hold tightened slightly on her locket.

Koichi didn't answer at first, but wrapped an arm lightly around her shoulders, trying to console her -if she even needed it. "I'm not going to stop you from going," he started softly, "and I'll wait for you to come back..." he trailed off, wondering what the hell he was even saying. He, though, didn't quite know why she was telling him this in the first place. Instead, he remained quiet, wondering if she'd continue on.

Kana paused for a second longer, and then slowly nodded her head, smiling very faintly. "K..." she said, voice dropping to a whisper. "Because I have to visit... my mom..." Then she fell silent again, deciding she'd said enough. She probably just sounded like she was rambling mindlessly anyway. He probably thought she was still half asleep or something. She was beginning to think it wasn't because of her tiredness she was acting this way, but rather.. other things she was trying not to think about. She had really enjoyed her time here, but now it was drawing to a close, and everything seemed to have ruined themselves last night. Or at least, that's how she saw things. It was like she'd been sleeping the whole time and was just waking up. Or maybe she was just so tired she was becoming dillusional.

Koichi tilted his head gently, until his cheek was resting against the top of her head. "I'm... sure she'll appreciate it," he said softly; he wasn't quite sure what to say. He didn't want to offend her or her mother at the moment, and make the feelings she was feeling even worse. He also didn't want to drag her from the wallowing she was doing, since he thought perhaps it'd be better for her to come out of it herself; if need be, he'd get her later. "Don't worry, Kitty," he said gently, as though trying to get her at least a little happier.

Kana smiled faintly and slowly nodded her head, but not enough to disturb him as he set his cheek against it. "Yeah, she will..." she said softly, opening her eyes almost cautiously. She pried one hand away from the locket and wiped at her eyes needlessly before setting it back again. I want to go home... she thought to herself, her voice faint even inside her head. But then she tried to distract herself, biting back another sigh, as she heard his last words. Though, the only thing she could think about other than going home, was the events of last night, and that didn't really help much.

[uhoh. last post, i think >< sorry gonk i'll be back tomorrow, hopefully ><]
Koichi remained quiet now, not sure what to say. His eyes were half closed now as he thought to himself of different things to say without offending her, or making her feel worse than she was currently. Tu maison est avec moi, he thought, restraining himself the best he could from saying it outloud; that, he knew, might make things 100 times worse than it was already, and he really didn't want that. If anything, he wanted to make her forget what he said so they could just go back to how it was before that night.

[Ah, ok. xP]
Kana glanced up at him hesitantly, biting her lip once more. She felt like she was being extremely selfish, complaining to him when he probably didn't even understand what she was talking about. She tried thinking back now if she'd actually ever told him what was in her locket, and why she always had it with her, and why being sick had scared her so much as well. But, she didn't think she had... It made her happy though, that he hadn't even tried prying about anything. There were several people she'd met, whose first question was immediately about her family, or her powers, neither of which she liked talking about, but he'd even helped her get over her trouble with her powers. She bit back another sigh, closing her eyes again. She once again found herself thinking about last night, and a light blush crept across her cheeks as she recalled what'd she'd asked him about love and what it felt like. She breathed out very quietly as one of her hands moved to grip his shirt very lightly. I think I love you... she thought quietly.

[AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW xD]
Koichi looked down, feeling her hand moving slightly. He reached up with a free hand and grasped it gently, smiling weakly down at her. "Something wrong?" he asked softly. He didn't know why, but for some reason he could tell -even without getting into her head- that it was overloaded with who knows what; she had to many things to worry about at the moment. He couldn't help but feel, too, that it was partly his fault for adding one more thing to it; and it seemed to have made the pile bigger than he intended.
