Daishi sprang up from his position as he sensed Cyrus's increasing energy level.

What the...

Before he even could exit the cave, a loud explosion rocked the area, throwing him against the wall. Once he regained his balance, he sensed Cyrus' dimming spirit and Catalyxe's arrival. Unfortunately, he also sensed Vain's life force still burning.

Damn, this isn't good...

He strode outside, through the barrier, just as Catalyxe flew through with Cyrus.

The barrier's a bit weaker now...Though that won't matter. I won't let him pass through...

"You b*****d! Killing people simply for the absolutely idiotic primitive reason of showing how 'great' you are. You are sick. You think you know everything, and can do anything, and try to justify your actions to yourself. But deep down, you know all this is meaningless. You're hoping to fill a void in your black heart by fighting even though that's not going to satisfy you, it never will. You know it, you just won't admit that you've no purpose and are too lazy and thick-headed to find one."

Daishi stood still, his stance relaxed, yet poised and ready should Vain attack.

Travis appeared behind vain and sighed. "And yer still alive too. This day sucks." Jiba's ends were put out. He dropped into a Carenta stance, In wich he had jiba pointed at vain fron behind his back. "I hate to do it elemental, but yer continued existence ain't conducive to a happy universe."

Travis raised an eyebrow. He brought his right arm in, so the tip of Jiba jabed a short way before he flew it around, using his body as an ancor. The staff came whistling toward Vain.

The staff crashed against Vain's skull, but not with enough force to kill, only stun long enough for travis to reverse momentum and plow the other end into Vain's gut. "Why would I kill you when you searve as such a usefull punching bag"

Daishi shook his head at Vain, wondering what went on in his head.

"Or maybe he's just smart."

Strong winds picked up, surrounding Vain's limbs and circling them, immobilizing them with pure air pressure.

"Darkness is already a part of me, I've little to fear from it..."

The others will be safe inside the barrier, but how can I stop this from spreading elsewhere?...

The air was suddenly sucked from Vain's lungs, leaving him breathless and unable to breathe.

I'll return air once he loses consciousness, hopefully that should do the trick...

Travis jammed Jiba into the ground and closed his eyes. He let out a deafening yell. As he yelled, the darkness swept back in and toward travis. He smiled as it engulfed him, the darkness winking out behind.

::Izumi stepped through the portal he made and stood firm, his right hand reaching across to his katana::

Izumi: I don't know if your his freinds or foes, but I cannot allow the Dark Knight to fall. My sword, Mugai Ryu, I call upon thee, relise Vain from this spell!

::A flame burst from the sword and engulfed Vain, releasing him. Izumi stared into the sky, the Red Moon had just died down, and Vain went back to his other looks::

Izumi: I am taking him back with me. Follow, and I will have no chioce but to kill.

::Izumi grabbed Vain by the arm and dragged him back through the portal::
