"I love you too, Christopher." Rugen said, once again, sarcasticly. "I'm sorry if you can't stand good company of someone who actually worries about his friends."

"Then you should have no insults to say to me!" Rugen said in an annoyed tone as the door shut. "And that's Izzy's door, if it breaks, she's expecting some eggles from you to fix it."

"And I never said you weren't my friend, but I guess that may be a problem." Rugen said, finding a nice position on the ground, next to the refridgerator. "I was worried about you as well." He added quietly as got up when the door fell over. He strode over to the broken door and lifted it up. "I might be able to fix this myself." He said to himelf. "Is that alright, Izzy?"

While awaiting Izzy's answer, he held out his hand to Christopher to help him up. "Sounds good to me." Rugen said to him, so quiet it was at about a whisper. Seeing as he had been yelling a lot earliar, his voice was starting to leave him.

((Muahahahahaha!...Okay, I'm done.))

Ilandere was awaken by a commotion. She heard people shouting and slamming doors. This definitely wasn’t helping with her terrible headache and her ears seemed to throb with each loud syllable. The voices began to calm a little and die away.

Ilandere felt her whole chest wrapped tightly, taking care of the pain in her ribs, but her head was another story. She felt as if someone had cut out her brain and replaced it with a rock. She couldn’t hold a train of thought for very long, even if it was muddled to the point of insanity. She shifted her leg and as soon as she did so incredible pain shot up her spine and spread all along her body.

The natural anesthetic her body supplied was wearing off and with it came the full pain of her injures. She tensed but it only made the pain worse. She tried to relax but couldn’t and breathing became difficult. She groaned loudly and clenched the material of the couch in pain.

Ilandere heard more voices and they became clearer and clearer as consciousness began taking full effect. She heard someone say her name softly and put a hand on her shoulder. She flinched as the soft touch sent more pains shooting through her body.

“It was Saint Dane.” Ilandere gasped, the words muddled in her mind, “He killed him. He killed JinRah. He killed the traveler from Zadaa.”

Someone took her hand and she held it tighter and tighter with each shooting pain.

A tear crept down Ilandere’s face as the memories of JinRah’s last moments flashed in her mind. She could hear his voice saying, “I love you Ilandere, and I always have. Use this love in your journey and I will forever be with you. Do not be sad. This is the way it was meant to be.”

“You’re right. I am the traveler from Zadaa. But, he was the traveler from Zadaa.” She winced, the pain dulling her senses and causing her to lose consciousness again, “He was. I am not worthy to take on the title of traveler after the great people who have taken this responsibility before me. I am the newest traveler from Zadaa, but I will never be as great as the rest. There is one thing I will do for all deceased travelers everywhere. I will not let their death’s go un-avenged. If it is the last thing I do, Saint Dane will pay for all the pain he has caused us.” And with that her body began to relax and she slipped away into unconsciousness.

Since nearly everyone (who was awake, it seemed tha Jade was taking a small nap) was crowded around Ilandere, Lily went over to tend Rugen, but noticed someone standing in the doorway.

"Jake! What are you doing here! Acolytes arent supposed to travel!"

"I... I know, Lily, but it was urgent. It's been over a year since you left, and Earth is in big trouble!"

Lily stared around her. Nobody had noticed Jake come in. "Okay. I was going to leave soon anyhow. LEt's go, jake." As she turned to leave, she stumbled over Rugen.

"Wait! Ah, Christopher!"
