KungFu Flamingo I play the sax now. I desperately want to switch to tenor in wind ensemble, but I'm 2nd chair for flute, and don't want to give it up. And, the tenor's in my class are either annoying, or I dislike them for some other reason. I'd still really like to switch, though.
But seriously, this guy is a total a**. Between him and Jesse, I don't know how our sax section has any decency left! gonk

I'm in love with the other tenor in my class. xp That's part of the reason I switched to tenor for concert band. ninja (My BD's the one who had me learn tenor, though.) I love our sax section, and I actually get along with everyone in it, unlike the flute section, which just makes me want to rip hair out of my head all the time. The bari player's graduating this year, though, which makes me very sad. ;_; >> I'm gonna miss that kid.

Hi all, I'm new to the guild smile I dont play in a marching band, though, I'm in the orchestra. I play tenor (the only one ><) and have played alto in a marching band. Has anyone ever played The Bugler Rocks? It's soooo difficult...

What the hell is up with all these retard n00bs lately?! Some of the new people to the guild are pretty awesome, but every time I come to the forum, I see a new repeat thread! What the hell?! Someone made a new sax section thread WHILE THIS ONE WAS ON THE FIRST PAGE. How dense can one person get?! And on that thread.. what a disgrace! Our own guild owner can't even spell saxophone! gonk Masquanade Locked for being a repeat topic. We already have a thread about saxaphones. Please see the stickies for links. And hi Princess_HaliJade! Welcome to the guild! Congratulations on being one of the few n00bs that hasen't posted a dumb repeat topic! heart

Lol ty...though I think orchestra is string, isn't it? oh well I'm in concert band smile loverly concert band... I have 'Summer Nights' from Grease the movie and am practicing that to show off...and i'm trying to make a moving banner for the guild.... smile if you wanna help plz PM me

I dropped my mouthpiece yesterday and it broke. sweatdrop And I mean BROKE. Like, when it landed I saw a chunk of it go flying. >> There's this gigantic chip missing out of it now. It's actually kind of funny. So now I'm using the mouthpiece to the school's tenor... thank God I was the last one to play that thing. xp
You know what I've noticed? Tenors get ignored, big time. Me and the other tenor sit directly in the middle of the class (second row, right in between the altos and the second row of flutes) and our BD never says anything to us unless we TOTALLY screw something up. (Like we did last week. xd ) We can sit there and whisper and laugh and whatever and she doesn't even care. It's kinda cool. 3nodding

My friend and I talk all the time during class and he shoots us this dirty look...

I have played alto sax for 3 years....My wishlists include...*drumroll* Soprano Sax...hehe or Sopranino Sax. Have you seen those...so small, so high pitched... heart
