She gave him a look and wondered if he even seen how she was dressed. "I'm wearing heels and dressed up. I'm not ready. Be right back." She then walked into the house and up the stairs to her room so she could change into something more suited for training. She slipped on a pair of old sweat pants and a t-shirt. Also an old pair of tennis shoes. She also took out her earrings. Only jewelry she kept on was her engagement ring and her pendant necklace.

Mari came down the steps and walked outside. She took band out of her pocket and tied her hair back into a ponytail. It was a short ponytail because of her haircut, but it would keep her hair out of her face. "Alright. I'm ready now."

She lifted up the foot that it was going at and just stood on one foot for a few seconds before lowering it back down and just standing there. She kept looking at him and didn't hold much expression in her face.

*a second after he shot the blast he dashed at her right in her face. with his keyblade over his head he brought it down onto the shoulder*

Her arms glew white and she crossed her right arm over and blocked her left shoulder. Letting the blade hit her arm. Since the blade seemed to be comprised of light energy and that's what she used, it should make a perfect shield. Her arm did move slow, though, but she got it up to block in time.

*he turned and tossed his keyblade away. he then spun and kick to her head. after the kick he attacked her with a flurry of unending punches, hitting her in random areas so she couldn't trace his movements*

She lifted up her right arm to block the kick and because she wouldn't be able to track his punches, she jumped backwards and away from him.

*as she jumped, he teleported right behind her and delivered a hard kick to her back*

Two blue dots appeared on her shoulder blades and seemed to have blinked at him as he went to kick. The same blue dots that she had on her shoulders when she fought Rave. She then jumped forward and avoided the kick. She wasn't good at offense, but she was great at defense.

*he dashed at her again and directed a punch at her back, but when he got close he seemed to pass through her then dissapeared. he reappeared above her and kicked to her head*

She just kept dodging and when he appeared above her to kick her in the head, she dropped to the ground as if she was doing a push-up and just stayed down towards the ground.

*he put his fists together and brought it down on top of her while she was on the ground. the force was enough to shatter the ground*

The dots seemed to blink and she pushed herself forward and sommersaulted out of the way. She rolled onto her feet and stayed crouched towards the ground. She then turned and kept towards the ground, but was facing him.
