Christine's cheeks flushed when she felt Erik's hand on her hip, of course he had touched her before, back in his lair, but she was entranced then, sure it was all a dream. Now that she was sure it was real, she was slightly flustered, her innocent mind was not used to someone of the opposite gender touching her. Truth be told however, in her mind she enjoyed every second of it.

'He's a wonderful dancer...' Christine thought to herself as they danced 'I wonder where he learned...' After this thought, it hit her...there was no music! But just as she had thought that, Erik began to sing. It was as though he could read her mind! And his voice....oh his voice...that sensual voice was singing to her! She closed her innocent hazel eyes as he and she danced on the roof, enjoying his voice, his touch, just him being there...he certainly did know how to romance her. All her thoughts left her...Raoul...her father...her fainting on stage, every single worry and care she had left her thoughts except for the thoughts of Erik. And she was happy.

((sorry sorry sorry again for lack of posting... not that there seemed to be much for meg to do anyway lol))

Meg heard a frantic yet familiar-sounding voice calling her. She didn't see anyone so she frowned, looked about her, and ran towards it. After what seemed like miles but was probably really only a few yards, she saw a frightened looking, disheveled Vicomte de Chagny.

"Monsieur le Vicomte!" She said, rushing to him. "My god what is it? Is everything all right?" She thought for a moment about what he could possibly need her or her mother for. Her eyes widen with realization. "Is it Christine?"

((Which is exactly why Raoul says "Any Giry will do. Give Meg a chance to play ^^))

"Something is wrong, Mademoiselle Giry," He said. "She disappeared for hours -I assumed she was visiting her father's grave- but now she has locked herself in her room, and I believe someone is with her. And now I think they are both gone!" He took a breath. "Can you get a key?"

Erik was pleased to see Christine give into him. It wouldn't be long now before she'll be his bride, allowing thier love to finally become one. She would look brilliant in the wedding dress that he was making. Beautiful, tender, perfect; she would be truely, and comepletely happy. Erik's voice continued to carry through the air, intoxicating anyone that picked up on his vocals.

The Opera Ghost twirled Christine outwards before bulling her once more towards him, her body pressed against his. Suddenly, the world turned upside down for Christine when she was tilted backwards, Erik's arms still holding her in a comfortable manner. Not but a second later, the Phantom's voice faded, ending the song with a kiss. A straightforward, yet bashful kiss that expressed more than passion and lust. More than love's few words could attempt to describe. If Christine wasn't his before, she was now.

Chrsitine's eyes were still closed as she was twirled and pulled back into Erik, their bodies close and the next thing she knew, she was being tilted backwards with his arms around her and he was no longer singing, but his lips...were pressed against hers. Her innocent eyes opened immediately and widened, quite surprized and taken aback by his kiss and she froze for a moment, but a second later she closed her eyes again, enjoying the blissful sensations that he sent through her body. She lifted her arms and wrapped them around his neck, and kissed him back sweetly. She felt herself giving into him completely, more than she ever had to anyone in her entire life, she wanting to just be in his arms forever, to please him, just to be able to feel his presence in the opera house as she walked around would be enough, just as long as he was happy with her. This kiss that they shared seemed almost a promise, she was his, and they both knew it.

Raoul felt intense relief and gratitude for Meg as she led him to Christine's dressing room, and he hurried after her, concern for Christine growing stronger with every moment.

In a voice very much like her mother -and his too, if he thought about it- she turned to him and added, "But be careful, Monsieur-- You may not realize what and who you are provoking by so insistantly pursuing Miss Daae."

Raoul frowned. "Your concern is gratifying, Mademoiselle," He said after a moment. HEelooked at Meg--really, a pretty girl--then plunged ahead with his insane story. "Christine told me a tale of an "Angel of Music", and later how he was really a man. Meg--your mother spoke to the Phantom earlier, and I beleive they are one and the same. Does your mother know him? What can you tell me of him?"
PostPosted: Mon Jul 18, 2005 11:18 pm

Not this again! Wasn't it enough that she was practically leading him into Christine's room? Now he wanted her to tell him what she knew? Her mother would kill her! No, correction-- her mother would shut her up in her room for the rest of her life. The Phantom would kill her. Either way, it didn't seem like the best idea...

But from what her mother had said, the Phantom, Christine's angel of music... he was a dangerous man. Genius but dangerous. While this obviously meant that he was not to be trifled with, it also meant that Christine could be in danger. And as her best friend, it was her duty to protect her as best she could, even at her own risk. Her mother was not here this time to guide her. Meg knew this decision was her own.

"Monsieur," she sighed. "My mother does know him. What I am about to tell you, you cannot repeat to another soul as long as you live. Do you swear it?" The look in her eyes told Raoul that she was serious this time. She was not asking him to swear secrecy as she did when divudgling a juicy piece of gossip to the ballerinas, expecting them to turn around and tell the next person they see. She was TELLING him to take this information to the grave. He nodded quickly and she went on.

"My mother knows him. She helps him quite directly, for years now. She is the one who gives him his salary, runs his errands, and in return for her help, we both have jobs here at the Opera and a generous share of his salary." It felt good to get all this out, the guilt had been nagging at her for some time now. "I cannot tell you all that I know, Vicomte. But yes, Maman does know him personally. She will not tell me everything of him, for he is a very private man, to say the least. But he is a man, a mortal just like you or I. He makes his home, here, in the Opera house. In the cellars." Her hand flew to her mouth. Oh, she'd said too much, she knew she had! "Monsieur, be careful! Oh, now that I've told you, I know both our lives are in danger. But if Christine is with him..." She trailed off, praying that Christine was not hurt, that she was willingly with the Phantom and hadn't been kidnapped.

With great hesitation, Erik's lips parted from the exquisite beauty before him. His protective arms lifted her upright and continued to hold her close to him. She was slightly chilled, which gave him an excuse to wrap his cloak around her. Her head seemed to find comfort on his chest, her fair hands gently gripping at his shirt. Erik allowed this moment to last as long as he could before leading her through another secret doorway.

This door took them down the familiar lake that had guided them to his lair previously. After they both got into the small boat that sat next to the dock, Erik pushed off with the same large stick he used. Time seemed to fly by so quickly, perhaps anticipation on both of their parts came into play. After all, Erik longed to be back in the comfort of his lair, and Christine surely yearned to see the familiar magnificence that she had laid eyes on once before.

It wasn't long until she was able to relive the memories that had hardly past. Christine found herself in Erik's arms once more, again on solid ground. And yet again, Erik's lips met Christine's in another kiss that was beyond words. Her lips reminded the Phantom of a misted cherry. The luscious temptation that had driven him mad often before hand. Perfection in every way. Not a flaw in even the very kisses they shared. Erik was, without a doubt, sure that they were destined to be together. That nothing could break her from his protective grasp, his soothing voice or even his sweetly seductive kisses. She was his and he was hers. Christine might not have known it, but they were approaching the point of no return. This could very well be a night to remember.

It took Roaul a moment to digest this information. He was right, the "Angel" was no angel, but a man. He looked at Meg. Surely a man who would support both Madame Giry and her daughter iwth money and secure jobs was not a cold, heartless man. The fear of the ghost would have secured him his francs without having to pay the ballet mistress, he was sure of it. And yet, he did.

"You think Christine is safe with him?" Raoul asked. "He will not hurt her?"

A new thougth occurred to him. "Why does he live in the cellars?" he wondered, more to himslef than anything. "What could drive a man--who is not only a angelic singer, but a magician, inventor, and composer--to live alone in the middle of a lake five cellars beneath an opera house?"

He looked up, realizing that he had stopped and Meg was staring at him, impatient with him, no doubt. "Apologies, Madamoiselle," he said hastily, moving forward. "Lead on."

"I am not sure if he would hurt her... I do not believe so. He seems to care for her a lot." Love her, she thought. "But he may not think of it as hurting her, keeping her down there. But, Monsieur I cannot say for certain, since I do not know him personally as my mother does." At last they reached Meg's room. "I'll only be a moment Monsieur." She left him waiting at the door while she ran into to get her set of keys, each one carefully labeled. She came back out. "Here they are!" And with that, she grabbed his arm and began to lead him towards Christine's room, hoping to God that she might just be back there by the time they got there, and they wouldn't have to go looking for her.

Christine layed in his arms for a moment, her hands on his chest, hearing his heart beat and feeling his chest rise and fall with his breathing. She loved being this close to him.

When Christine and Erik had reached the cellars, Christine took off his cloak and laid it carefully over one arm, as to not wrinkle it, though she rather liked having something of his over her, there was no need of it in the Opera Populaire where they were...it was oddly warm down in the cellars, which was odd, you would think it would be colder!

When they had hit land and he kissed her again, Christine was lead into another world of fantasy...his lips were so soft against hers, she could hardly believe it.

((I'm sorry about this post...It kinda stinks but Im being rushed, my brother needs to use the computer to write a paper thats due tomorrow ><))

Finally Meg and Raoul reached Christine's room. Her hands shook as she turned the key and she opened the door slowly, but made sure to go in before the Vicomte just in case there was something she didn't think he could handle. She hated to admit it to herself, but from the way he'd been acting he didn't seem to be the most emotionally stable man right now. Once she thought it was clear and all right, she let him in.

Meg opened the door to Christine's room and looked around before letting Raoul enter. He wondered why.

He loked aorund. Nothing. "She is not here," He practically yelled. "I was right! He kidnapped her!" He continued ranting. He noticed something was out of place, though he couldn't put his finger on it...

There was no sign of a struggle.

He stopped, midsentence, Meg's presence forgotten. She had not struggled when he came for her. Which meant she had wanted to go with him. Raoul felt a pain in his chest, pressure building up behind his eyes. Christine didn't want him. He sat down, trying to cope with what this room was telling him about his Christine, head in his hands.
