His eyes fell upon his son, with a grin he watched him. He lowered his muzzle and licked his head softly. "Good morning my son." He said in hushed tones, so that he didnt frighten him, nor wake his sleeping mother.

He moved a bit back, so that there was more room for the small cubs to move around in. His eyes moved to more movement within Kila's downy fur.


She had felt her brothers movement, waking up she wiggled out from under her still sleeping brother and made her way out to her awake brother. She let out a soft mew as she stretched out, darker lavender hued eyes stared up at her mother as she used her brother as a stepping up ladder to climb onto her mothers muzzle.

She looked more like her mother, even had a grey mask as she did, eye marking as well...Though hints of her father stood out in her coloring, his pinks and greys through her mostly reddish hued coat.

Angel woke up, yawned and stretched. She wondered where Kila was. "Mom? Where are you?" Angel stretched again and then begain to search for her mom. She felt so much better and was in a great mood. She felt like playing but everyone was asleep. While searching for Kila she noticed a den. Could her mom be in there? She went in and suddenly saw her dad. But there were little cubs with him. Angel got scared. Did her mom replace her with younger and cuter cubs? "Mom are you here? Can I come in and see the babies. I feel better then I did last night." Angel sat at the entrence to the birthing den and waited. She didnt know if she should leave or stay. She worried that her new mom might not want her anymore.

The last ebony cub awoke and as his orbs opened they shown of azure like his mother. The color of the sun in mid-day. He yawned slightly as he pawed at at the ground slightly. He let out a long breath, almost a huff like sigh as he looked up at his parents while head rested on his paws. He looked to his other siblings as they were getting named.

She poked her head over Benoni's large frame to see Angel, "In a little while my sweet." she smiled looking to her little girl. She licked her belly as she tumbled over. "I like it," she replied her attention went from the female to the awakening ebony cub. "Anu," came to her mind. She nuzzled him slightly, as she almost started to fret when she couldn't find her other beloved male until she had seen his tail feathers poke out from under his father.

The grey male growled slightly, more of squeaked at his sister for getting on him. He curled in his mother's fur and then went into his fathers where he blended in, camoflauging himself. His orbs peered out to a cub sitting at the entrance. He nipped at his father's fur playfully afterwards.

Tequila watched as Benoni bounced his son and it made her smile as she watched them bond. Her azure eyes looked to the grey male, "What do you think about him my love?" she asked softly. Her tail flickered she just wanted to snuggle with all her cubs at the moment.

The soon to be named cub's eyes widened frightend at being tossed in the air, after a few times being caught he realized he wasn't going to be dropped anytime soon, so he started to smile and giggle, lower than his sisters.

Anu looked at his approaching sister and opened his arms like a bear hug and tackled her. Nipping at her and then licking, his long ebony tail flickereing in the empy air.

Tequila was finally offically announced at Benoni's mate, and Queen of Le Roi de Sorrow. As well as Jasmyn was welcomed into the Pride as well. For as long as she wished. Benoni was over-come with the joy of his children..

Time had passed over the pride, many of the younger smaller members grew. And like the members of the pride, as did the new growing royal family. Adaeze, Anu and Tabansi slowly and happily grew into adulthood within the pride.

While out traveling, Benoni met a harsh storm, stuck within the confides of a cave with a lioness by the name Crudelis. After such a longship away, Benoni returned with a cub at his side, Nyoka, who is Benoni's son as well, as well as Sumner, Nyoka's brother. Nyoka slowly grew into teenship as his older siblings grew into adulthood. Adaeze, prayed for a younger sister.

Did such a thing happen? Not a chance, having promised his dearest friend children when Ayana went into season, Benoni kept his promise. Bringing three new cubs into the pride, Rein, Bakari and Dakota. Kila must not be pleased with our dear King eh? Swearing off his wandering unless his Queen is at his side, Benoni pleadges himself to his Queen, and only to her.

Adaeze's slender form padded into the pride, several still wiggling fish dangled from her jaws. She proved to be a grand fisheress, she spotted Cayimmi not to far off in the distance. Padding over and dropping the fish in a small watering hole like area she pounced her way towards him. "Lord Cayimmi!" She called out in sweet tones, her eyes sparkled with laughter as she rubbed her head against his belly. " Why didnt you join me and Aunt Niobe?" She asked with a soft purr. She like her aunt, adored the purple cub, no matter his size.

She flopped onto her belly, crossing her front paws as she licked her muzzle. Fresh fish taste still lingered from the first fish she'd caught. She couldnt help but have snacked on it. " Aunt Niobe fell into the river...I do believe she's sunning herself.." She nudged Cayimmi's side playfully taunting him with her aunt.

Benoni's large frame took up a good portion of the cave opening. He'd finally returned from his venture out to Ayana's den, his face was of mixed emtions, joy over new cubs. And, shocked that they were his, his mind race of how to explain to his beloved the promise he made before he met her...His eyes rested upon his children that stood before him. They'd both grown up already, beautiful, and handsome adults. "Aye, I believe I'd liked to have seen that. Niobe is usually so graceful.." He chuckled.

His eyes searched the cave for his dear heart, but he didnt see her. His ears twitched slightly, "Wheres your mother?" he asked with a slightly worried tone. "My son, you've grown so much.." Pride shined in his eyes for his son. Turning his head, he looked to his only daughter, Adaeze. "As have you my daughter."

"Tabby!" she exclaimed in a slightly moan as she rose to her paws, "Those were for the cubs ya know.." She scrunched her nose and shook her head at him. Upon hearing her fathers voice, her ears perked as her eyes lit up. "Daddy!" she made her way towards him to give an affectionate nuzzle before looking to her brother, whom she fondly called Tabby. "Yea, now your all old dad.." She teased as she made her way towards her brother.

She wasnt sure what to make of her fathers other children, she held no hate towards them, nor her father. She liked having so many siblings, though she did long for another sister. Benoni was a good father, and Kila a great mother, she was blessed. "She was graceful when she fell, though the words that came out of her mouth!" she exclaimed with wide eyes.
